Ann D congrads what a nice way to start of the new Year!!

AFM still waiting on AF and still be getting this puliing and pinching feeling near my right ovary i hope I do not have a cyst.
Yes I worry to about not having no kids sometimes but I trying to out weight them thoughts with What kind of mother I am going to be and getting my self together to be able to take care of my kids Financially and mentally . We all are goingto overcome our obstacles we just have to stay positive and claim everything about life and bring it to existence. I am going to have my family and by the end of 2009 i will be a mom and my dh will be a dad when his spermies meet my egg later on this month LOL!
Whew i really need this board to get my emotions out and try and stay positive because it can be really hard!

Well my new years was good i went to bingo and Won $500 yes 2009 will be my year!

Did any of you have a new years resolution?
One of mines were to Talk to my DH instead of yelling LOL!! We see how long it last its hard ansd to funny because he be tempting me !

A bit of "good" news for me. Well, sort of. My RE just called (although I was in the bathroom and yelled for my husband to please answer the phone, which he doesn't do because it is never for him)

- so, the call went to voicemail.

The good news is that she has offered to speak on the phone before friday if I'd like to - and her message said she had some "good ideas" about what we should do next. It has helped relieve my mind a bit - but we'll see about my dreams tonight!

Way to keep up the PMA london! My new years resolution is to finish my MBA. I know, it is a pathetic resolution - but it has taken me 4 years to complete this thing and I WANT TO BE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

Sprouthaus... I actually laughed when I read your phone thing between you and your DH. Mine does the same thing, too! It drives me nuts! Well, it sounds like good news that your RE has some ideas. I can't wait to hear!!

London... Congratulations on your bingo win! That's a great start to the new year! I agree with what you said about us reaching our goals. We will all reach our goals b/c we have the drive in us. IVF is not for the weak-minded. It takes a toll on us emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Annie973...Now I find myself a little nervous b/c I think what if it's not positive on beta day? The good news is that when I did get a BFP on my FET (my HCG was in the 60s), I took an HPT test the next morning so that I could finally have a stick that showed a positive. I know... silly. Anyway, the line was so faint and I was disappointed b/c I thought it would be a clear positive. It wasn't. The line was BARELY there. This morning on the HPT the plus sign appeared so fast. I was scared and almost thought I was dreaming. My DH and I are trying to just enjoy today and at least, for today, I can say that I'm pregnant. We'll see what the beta day brings. Now I'm trying to figure out if I'll take another one tomorrow... what do you girls think?

Hello Ladies

So I went into the DR today and I have been stimming since Monday 3 vials of Bravelle a night and when I went in today they say that I have between 10 to 12 follicles but that the lining is only at a 2.4 and he wants to be be between 8 to 10 so he has increased the bravelle to 4 vials a night ans said that we might have to push back the ER and ET a couple of days but he said that last IVF cycle at this time the follicles were small and over the weekend the went crazy so we are hoping for the best will keep you all posted on the lastest update

JennJenn I believe you and I were running just a day apart on all of this until I had to stop my meds. I am glad to hear the good news!

I will be starting BCP's tomorrow.....finally!! I was 9 days late. I have never done that b4. I am worried that I might have a cyst on one of my ovaries. I have been really bloated and have pain in my left ovary. I hope not..........I don't want to delay this again.

RE is planning to put me on a different protocal this time I won't be taking lupron. I will take bcp's for 15 days and then I will start stimming and take ganarelix.

I turn 35 on the 12th and that has been a big concern to!!!

Well, Weds. I go for and u/s to check for cysts and if all is well it looks like we will be doing ER on the 30th!!

sprouthaus I, too, laughed when I read the phone deal because its the same in our household too... or DH takes too long to grab it and it goes to voicemail! But that's cool RE has good ideas about next cycle. And good for your resolution to finish the MBA. Its not a bad resolution at all. Congrats!

espinozal I see your ER is on my beta day this upcoming week. I'll be thinking of you!

We hope that our ER will not be delayed trying to think positive about it all its just that last time my lining was good at this point and this time it was below were DR wanted it to be and I had been down and out all day thinking about it because i was on depo for nine months before i started the whole IVF again and when nurse finally called I ask her if it could be because I was taking the depo and she said nope just wondering if maybe it is the different time of stims that I am taking this time if anyone has any info on this please let me know if there is anything that I can do to help thicken it up

tburks - It is good to read your voice - and congrats on starting your cycle soon! I hope everything goes well for you - I've had cysts on my ovaries for my first IVF and I was able to proceed. My RE had said they are fine as long as they aren't producing estrogen. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
I hope your new protocol goes well - I've heard really good things about the no lupron/ganarelix protocol and I'm so excited to hear how it goes for you!

espinozal - Your number of follies looks great! Don't worry about your lining measurement too much - mine has always been on the 'small' side after 5 days of stimming and by day 8 was looking good. A lot can happen in a couple of days!

ann d. TAKE ANOTHER TEST in the morning. And take one sunday too! Anything to keep you from feeling anxious. I feel you are preggers - take it one day at a time and let the line get darker and darker. I bet you could POAS in the evening and get a BFP!

NHY -Is your beta still on Jan 9? Every day it gets closer...

I have been reading that taking a baby asp a day can help thicken the lining of the uterus anybody heard of this need some advice on it PLEASE HELP

espinozal - I don't know about baby aspirin, but my acupuncturist is able to thicken the uterine lining. Don't know if that is something you are able to consider given the timing...

Thanks Sprouthaus for the piece of advice. I had a hard time sleeping last night just thinking about POAS. You would think once you get a positive everything goes well, but it's just another thing to think about. Anyway, I got a positive! But you're right. I would have felt anxious all day just thinking about it. I guess I feel like this could be taken from me any day. At least that's what happened on my last BFP.

Espinoza... I haven't heard about baby aspirin thickening your lining, but my RE has me take one every day. I thought it was to prevent clotting from the PIO shots. I could be wrong. Not sure why I thought that. I believe Sprouthaus is right about the acupuncturist, but ask your RE about the aspirin before you start taking it. Hopefully come Monday, everything will start to catch up!

Tburks... That's great that you're starting BCPs!! Before you know it you'll start stimming. I'm crossing my fingers that everything comes up clear on Wednesday's u/s!

Ann D I tesdted the whole time i was preggers last time I just love seeing that positive hpt

Espinoza I take baby asprin because i had a positve ANA test so baby asprin prevents my blood from clotting because when i get pregnant my blood can clot and kill the fetus so the baby asprin thins out my blood

Sprouthaus yes the same in my household he will not answer the phone at all!!because its not for him!lol Good Resolution i need to start working on mines its just so hard to get motivated.

Annd- I did the same thing my first chemical. I wanted to see a line so badly on one of those tests that I tested as soon as I got my beta. It was the faintest hint of a line. That you are getting a quick positive is a great sign. Keep taking those test if it makes you feel better. I know I would
