Hiya Old Friends....

Wow... it took me a long time to find this thread... but I see that Emily and Ryan are here and doing well!! Congrats, Steph!

I just wanted to say first that we welcomed Gage Palmer on his due date, 12/3/08 after being sent directly to the hospital from the dr's office. He was having a non-reactive heartrate and they wanted to check him out further. After some more tests and observations, doc said we could try to deliver vaginally, but the anestisiologist suggested not doing so due to the fact that his head was pushing on a nerve in my leg that he said labor may cause permanent damage and months of not being able to walk... so we opted for an immediate c-section... which turned out to be the best decision we could have made because the cord was wrapped around his little neck not 1, not 2, not 3 or 4, but 5 (yes, FIVE) times. Doc said he'd never seen anything like it. I am just so happy that we didn't try to deliver vaginally with that situation!!

Anyway, after all that, our little guy is finally here!!!! :) He weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 oz and is now thriving at 9lbs 2 oz at 1 month. ... which brings me to the other thing... SORRY it's taken me so long to get this on here!!! I've missed everyone so much, but he takes up so much more time that I ever imagined and with the holidays thrown in there, I've barely had time to tie my shoes... who am I kidding, I only wear shoes on dr visit days! ;)

Here's a few photos of my little guy from the day we came home from the hospital. We have newer photos, of course, but I haven't gotten them off the camera yet!

Hope,

Welcome back girl. You've been missed.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! ON THE ARRIVAL OF GAGE...........

That is brilliant news. We're glad that you and the little one are both well. Sorry about the scare during your delivery, but its all ended well.

We've missed you soo much. And I don't expect you to beleive me, but I was thinking of you just last night and the fact that you must be enjoying your baby. And the first thing I saw was your name when I logged on. Had to rub my eyes twice. How freaky is that?

Well, good to hear from you again. I can imagine its probably frantic for you at the moment, but try and keep in touch. We'd love to hear from you.

Hi Ladies -

Thanks to you all...

Su & Jayne - hope your boys are all doing well! Did you have a nice first Christmas with them?! I'm sure it was wonderful!!! I really hate that the time flies by so fast... it takes us forever to get them here and then they just grow TOO fast! I have struggled with that so much since he's been here. It makes me nuts when people say things like, "oh enjoy it, next thing you know, he'll be driving and getting married!"  I can't believe he's already growing out of his newborn clothes! He was long to start with, but he's getting so long, he can't stretch out his legs in them! Anyway, I can't believe your guys are already so big too... I really hope you have enjoyed them as much as I'm enjoying Gage. Love you you!!!

Wishful, Miracle & Angel - Hugs to you, sweeties!! I've missed chatting with you guys... and yes, Mir, I did get your PM, but baby started crying last night and I barely got the pics on! ;) Angel, you are such a dear heart... I actually do believe you, I know what a caring heart you have... ;) just know that I've been thinking of you too - all of you... I couldn't have made it through without ya... you are so supportive and I truly appreciate you!! Praying that you guys our other pals out there will soon receive many wonderful blessings... you're always in my thoughts and prayers... hugs to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D Congratulations to you and DH!!! Gage is absolutely a darling. :)

I am so sorry for the scare you had to go through. But whatever happened in the end was for the best. This only goes to prove our faith in the Lord. :)

I am so happy for you and thanks for the PM.

Well, to add a bit here, I will never forget the date of your son as it coincides with my wedding anniversary. :D

And...yes I believe in miracles!!!

HUGS AND LOTS OF KISSES TO THE BABY.

Congratulations Rachel!!!!! I just realized you're preggers AGAIN!!! What wonderful news! I have to admit, we hadn't left the hospital before I was asking my DH when our RE would let us try again!! :) I love Gage so much, but I just know he would love to have another brother or sister closer to his own age. Not that he doesn't already love his big brothers! ;)

Thanks to you, Sonu... :) I hope your pregnancy and delivery go SO smoothly! Prayers and hugs for you, sweetie!!

Much Love,
Hope
