Wow... it took me a long time to find this thread... but I see that Emily and Ryan are here and doing well!! Congrats, Steph!
I just wanted to say first that we welcomed Gage Palmer on his due date, 12/3/08 after being sent directly to the hospital from the dr's office. He was having a non-reactive heartrate and they wanted to check him out further. After some more tests and observations, doc said we could try to deliver vaginally, but the anestisiologist suggested not doing so due to the fact that his head was pushing on a nerve in my leg that he said labor may cause permanent damage and months of not being able to walk... so we opted for an immediate c-section... which turned out to be the best decision we could have made because the cord was wrapped around his little neck not 1, not 2, not 3 or 4, but 5 (yes, FIVE) times. Doc said he'd never seen anything like it. I am just so happy that we didn't try to deliver vaginally with that situation!!
Anyway, after all that, our little guy is finally here!!!!
He weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 oz and is now thriving at 9lbs 2 oz at 1 month. ... which brings me to the other thing... SORRY it's taken me so long to get this on here!!! I've missed everyone so much, but he takes up so much more time that I ever imagined and with the holidays thrown in there, I've barely had time to tie my shoes... who am I kidding, I only wear shoes on dr visit days!

I can't believe he's already growing out of his newborn clothes! He was long to start with, but he's getting so long, he can't stretch out his legs in them! Anyway, I can't believe your guys are already so big too... I really hope you have enjoyed them as much as I'm enjoying Gage. Love you you!!!
Congratulations to you and DH!!! Gage is absolutely a darling.
