lyly,

hehe......you are so funny with your sayings under your ticker!! Glad to hear the doppler is giving you some piece of mind. Your pregnancy is cruising right along. I am so happy for you! :D

Jaime,

We will probably have to wait longer than we wanted with the FET because its more expensive than I thougt it would be. Maybe 2010 when I can pick up insurance at my work b/c they do have some infertility coverage. I cannot get the insurance for this year as the enrollment period has passed (ended in November when I was still miserable huge pg and wasn't even thinking of getting pg again) My dh carries the insurance now and the only way for me to get onto my employers plan is, heaven forbid, my dh loses his job. So lets hope that doesn't happen.

Carlysmom,

wow that is big news about the transfer! Why after 9 years are they transferring him now? When does the transfer happen? I would be like you and use my embie before the transfer, otherwise you have to mess with getting your snow baby transferred and who knows how that would work.

Ronda- I thought the humor was a bit more interesting than the develpment for the ticker. This weeks saying is funny but I am just hope nobody else gets offended by it. I was a bit suprised when I read it myself. I absolutely love having the doppler. Dh was so cute about it. When I first got is he wasn't home but walked in when I was using it. I thought that would be enough for him to hear it once but when we were about to go to bed he asked to listen again.

Lisa- Ya thats what I do too, just put them in a albumn, no time for scrapbooking :) her website is enough work :)

Rhonda- they were suppose to transfer him the last 2 years, but because I was pregnant and high risk and I had the blood clot in my jugular from the IVF meds, they gave us a waiver. But time to go now......I called the IVF clinic Fri and now waiting for them to call me back to see about scheduling an appointment to see if they will even take me on again as a patient due to the complications last time. My family keeps telling me to not to do the frozen and just be happy with out miricle we have :( I am so blessed and happy we have our miricle daughter, but I would love to give her a younger sister or brother! Why cant this just be easy?!?!

Hi girls! :D My first day of work was yesterday. I didn't work the whole day (on Mondays we work from 8 am to 7 pm) and I only worked until 5 pm. I just couldn't stay away from Cara that long. Lucky for me, my MIL lives 8 minutes away from my work, so I could go see her and feed her on my lunch hour. Working SUCKS!!

Carlysmom,

WOW!, I had no idea you had so many issues with your IVF. I hope your clinic calls you back soon. I totally understand about giving your daughter a sibling. I was so worried that I wasn't going to be able to give my oldest dd a sibling....but thanks to a IVF study my doc was in charge of, I was able to do the IVF and it worked! Now I've got the frozen babies that I want to give a chance too. sometimes, I almost feel greedy for even thinking about having a 3rd child. I have been very fortunate.

Hello everyone~ glad to hear pretty much everyone is doing well! And although Ronda doesn't want to be at work, I am SOOOO glad she is!!

My GI appointment is set for Thursday, the 15th, but I met a girl who also had a colonoscopy & had an infection as a result of them stretching her colon to the point bacteria got into her body cavity & attacked one of her tubes/ovary which she had to have removed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder what my RE's office would say if I refuse to have a colonoscopy??

What do you guys think I should do?

Nicole,
Honestly, I think that happening to that girl had to be a one in a million thing. I have never heard of anything like that as a result of a colonoscopy. If you still aren't feeling well, I truly think that would be the best way to get to the bottom of things. It tells the whole story of what is going on in there whether it be inflamation, polyps etc. I mean go with what your gut tells you and discuss with hubby. I wish you luck with whatever route you choose. :)

Ronda, sorry to say that I am already feeling the bullcrap of going back to school, I read e-mails about things I will have do do or catch up on when I return and they are changing all kinds of things on grading and the computer etc. I wish I could just stay out until Sept. :( I too am close by so will be able to run home for lunch thankfully.

Lyly, can't wait for you to find out!!!

Yeah, she said it was rare, but that it does happen, and they even have you sign a waiver about it at the hospital, etc!

I'll probably do it.

Nicole,I'm totally agree with Lisa.If you don't do it,imagine the complications during the pregnancy (if you do get PG) on a top of regular" pregnancy charms" with GI like constipation,hemorroids,heartburn...and all other unpleasant changes in your body.
And there are risks with EVERYTHING,you don't have to go too far.
I know this is not a fun procedure, but you have to exclude any possible problems before you get PG,because if you have something happen when you are PG,there not much they can do for you.
Good luck,hon!

Hi Girls,
It sounds like everyone is doing well. Nicole you have a big decision to make - make sure the Dr answers all you questions to your satisfaction before you decide.

Ronda it is great that your MIL will look after the baby while you work! Lisa what are you going to do about childcare?

Marina and Lyly how are you guys doing? Lyly you must be close to being able to find out the sex of the baby - are you going to?

I am doing OK but this feels like the longest pregnancy in the history of pregnancy's. I still have ligament pain coming and going and I failed my blood sugar test so have to go back for the long one (3 hours and 3 blood tests). I am not sure what happens if they decide you have gestational diabetes - does anyone know. I can't wait to get through the next 10 weeks!

Hi Jamie. I had gestational diabetes with Brielle. It was crappy at first, but it really helped me from gaining alot of work. Initially they try to control your sugar with a change in diet. You will get a meter and have to test 4 times a day. If they think the change in diet is not working, they will start you on insulin. I took insulin 3 times a day. Once you get to about 30 weeks they will send you for non stress test weekly to monitor the baby and also a dietician to teach you how to eat.

The non stress test is a fetal heart monitor you are hooked up to for 20- 60 minutes depending on movement of baby. The bonus is you get an ultrasound weekly. They also meausre the size of the baby via ultrasound peiodically.

Let me know how you test goes. It may come out fine. If you do have diabetes it is very manageable and mine went away immediately after she was born :D

hey Jamie- My next appt with the ob is on the 20th. As soon as gives me the ok for a u/s I am hoping to find out the sex of the baby. I really don't care but I know dh wants wants a boy. Of course he insists it will be a girl but who knows. I just want to be able to plan things (clothes room etc). As far as the glucose test I know lots of people who fail the first and 3 hr is fine. But as Debby said it is manageable if you do have gestational diabetes. Good luck!

I did OK on my second blood sugar test so lets hope things are stable until the end now. This pregnancy feels so slow. It just feels like it has been dragging on forever and I still have a ways to go. I think it was probably the rocky start that has made it seem so long  although really I shouldn't complain as long it good!!

I hope everyone else is doing OK. I can't wait for your u/s Lyly - only a few days to wait now. How exciting. It seems to me that yours and Marina's pregnancies have flown by.

I still wonder about Jen and how she is doing. Did anyone hear from her?

Jamie- Jen e-mailed me the other day. She is busy but doing well. The girls are beautiful and getting big. She sent some pics of the girls. Of course she is having difficulty keeping them on a schedule and doesn't have much time to get on the site but she was asking for updates on everyone. I will let her know you were asking about her!

As for me I am miserable right now. We were having some trouble with the heat yesterday and my oil company told us they would send someone out on Tuesday! Can you believe it? They told us if we still had heat it was not an emergency. Well we woke up to the house being 58 degrees with the thermostat set at 75! So of course they called it insufficient heat and said someone would be here on Tuesday. Just great because now all the pipes in my house are frozen. I have no running water and can't even flush the toilet. I have the oil company telling me that it is impossible that the pipes are frozen unless the temp was below 50 degrees in the house. Well tell that to my pipes. I am so pissed. He said it is a plumbing problem. I know for a fact the pipes are frozen because it started with just my kitchen sink. Unfortunately the kitchen always has a problem when it is cold so we leave the water dripping to avoid the freezing. However this time it didn't help. Uggg, I just want to scream.

I just can't wait to see the ob on Tues to find out when I go for my next u/s. I hope he does one soon. He oringinally told me 16 and then 20 weeks so lets see if that happens. I am already 16 weeks!

Hi ladies. Hope all is doing well. We are good. I started a blog for the babies with lots of pictures and it is keeping me busy during baby naptime. Of course I could be cleaning, but i figure this is important too.

Lyly~ Cant wait to hear the sex of the baby. I know you are anxiously awaiting your next u/s. Seems like forever ago that you had you last one.

Lisa~ How are the boys doing? Are they sleeping well at night?

I can't believe how fast they grow. It is seriously depressing. I cant believe my twins are 9 months now........hmmmmm. I wish they would stay little forever.

Marina~ How are you feeling? Will you find out the sex of your twins?
