Help! Question on Morning Sickness

Post by Annie973 »

Ok I am 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. For the last 2 weeks I have been pretty sick. Lots of dizziness, nauseau, loss of appetite, upset stomach, etc. Today I feel fine...not completely normal but no wheres near as sick as I have been. Smells that practically made me throw up a few days ago dont bother me at all. I am absolutely terrified that this is a bad sign. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? Does it come and go? My next ultrasound is Thursday and I am freaking out....

Hi Annie,
It's funny b/c I just posted a question on another thread about the same thing. I started with the bad morning sickness at around week 8 and ended-up in the ER for fluid IVs at week 10. I was also prescribed anti-nausea meds (which I hate taking, but is the only thing that keeps the vomiting under control). Now at 13 weeks it has gotten better, but I still puke at least once a day and am nauseous several more times per day. My stomach is upset most of the times. Everyone, including the OB keeps telling me that it is a wonderful sign, but sometimes (like in the middle of the night when I can't go back to sleep b/c I have been puking and my stomach is upset and I have to go to work in the morning) it gets a little much. I hope you are feeling better by now, but am interested to see how your feeling further into your pregnancy and to find out if anyone else has gone through this into their 2nd trimester.
