Kimi~ Jogger strollers. . .spend teh extra money and get the BOB. The front wheel has the option to swivel or not and it can hold over 100 lbs. The stroller is a DREAM!!!!! They are pricey ($575-600) but I had a Dreamer Design before that was also a $500 jogger and there is no comparison. This stroller will last me forever and I use it for everything. Cleans beautifully, easy to fold, comfy for the kids, and everywhere we go people ask me how much I love it. It's like a community of people obsessed with these things. You can get them at REI and they are made here in Boise as well. I could go on an on but I better stop!

Suga~ Good luck on house hunting. I LOVE that kind of stuff. Florida was agreat place to house hunt because there are sucha variety of styles in so many neighborhoods. I lived in Tampa for about 6 years and loved my house there. Keep us posted for sure!

Better run before the kiddos wake up.

Hi Ladies. Kholten I checked out your blog and your babies are precious. And you really take them places. I find it hard going places with the two of mine. Mainly because it is just me and dh works long hours. But hopefully as they get older I will be braver about getting them to places.

I got my jog stroller off ebay for a great deal. Might wanna check there when shopping for one.

Did everyone drop bottles at a year? I am so looking forward to getting rid of bottles.

Kim, thanks for your input. For the price Baby Trend one is agreeable with us but we have to go take a look at the store and test drive. We'll make sure the front wheel swivels. We are outgrowing our hosue as well but with the market being down, we probably can't sell our house at the reasonable price (could be lower than what we bought  ) so we will have to be creative and find a way to fit us in a room :D .

Kimberly, I love the BOB stroller by the looks of it itself. I didn't know they make 'em in Boise. My FIL was talking about a jogging stroller made in Boise a while ago but didn't think it was BOB for some reason. $500 is a bit steep for us for now but then if it is worth it, we'll definitely consider it.

We are also considering buying a triple stroller . Just in case I need to go out with three little ones by myself sometime!

Jade, I will definitely have to check online stores. Sometime, they have freeshipping so it's even better! Thanks! I dropped the bottle cold turkey around 13 mos with my first-born. By then he was used to ths sippy, so it wasn't hard at all. And of course, he didn't have any middle of the night feeding by then. I am letting my 11 mos-old practice sippy right now. Like you cannot wait to say good-bye to those bottles especially ours are Dr. Brown's and such a pain to clean them.

Anyway, it's 6 am and the day is still young! I don't know how long I can last working from 5 am everyday (but luckily at home)! I was very very cranky yesterday, I think because I am just tired in general and with the pregnancy hormone acting up. Didn't help that DH took off to watch football with his buddie!

Anyway, back to work 8) Take care everyone and thanks for your input!

Kimi~ One of the ways I registered for a lot of baby stuff was read the reviews. Perhaps try that with jogger strollers as well. You can find used BOB's for about $300 but they go VERY fast. There is a waiting list for them here with our twin group. YIKES! Good luck! Perhaps I should consider teh tripple as well. Never really thought about it. I kind of assumed I would be glued to the bjorn while the twins were in the stroller. Also, although mine go every direction when let loose, they love to walk around now. We'll see how things go.
Kudos to you for working at all!!! I cannot believe you can do it! Dh cannot work from home at all with us here anymore. The kids cannot stand to be so close and not be able to play. Good luck!

Jade~ Since mine were solely brestfed we didn't do bottles at all but at about 6 months we started giving them sippy cups a couple times a day and they loved them. I used the ones with a soft top and they caught on right away and did great. That was actually really nice since we never even needed a bottle. Also, I do take the kids a lot of places but fortunately for us this town is very baby friendly and that makes it easy. Mostly I go it alone and it just deal with whatever challenges come. If we aren't able to do it or no one is having fun, we simply head home. For me I like to be out and about with them and it seems they love it too. We'll se how 3 works! Yesterday was a snowmobile ride and sledding. Check out the photos of that one on the blog later today! The sledding was VERY interesting to say the least! :D

The babies are very busy dancing to music in their room right now. It's soooo funny. They keep making each other laugh but the second I look in they stop. This age is so cute!

SO EXHAUSTED! Brooke woke up at 1AM with horrible gas pains. I am a stupid mom who forgot to buy her more formula yesterday and thought...oh a couple feeding on the Enfacare will not hurt. BOY WAS I WRONG! Then she woke up at 5am hungry but only ate like 3 oz?!?! Then she stayed up and talked and screeched! Woke her sister up. Then Kenzie woke up at 7AM laughing and playing in the crib *sigh* no sleeping in. So I need a nap BAD but the husband is at school still. I can not wait till 1:30 when he gets home!!! *does happy dance* I get to take a nap! lol.

We found an AWESOME home that is $224,000 (of course will ask for less) that is 4 bedroom, has an office, dining room (formal) and kitchen and living...HUGE. Needs a little work (like taking out wallpaper and such, not big stuff). We shall see if it is still on the market come May!

Thanks ladies for the info on bottles. I use dr. brown's too and they are a big pain to keep clean. We have been using sippy cups for a few months now. We are actually using straws now which is nice. But I am really hoping to drop them at 1 year.

Kholten~ I cant imagine going out with three. Seems like nothing is made for 3's. The only real place we can shop comfortably is at Sams, they have buggies built for 2....lol

Kimi~ Your twins are 11 months now? And you have another one on the way? Was it natural the second time or another IVF? I am secretly hoping for a natural pregnancy for 1 more baby (one day) but not sure how that willl work out.

We literally dropped bottles the day before their first birthday. Go figure....we let our kiddos play/drink water out of sippy cups for several months, so they were very adaptable with them. We used Dr. Browns too, so I was very happy to get rid of those!

Jade, baby#4 was a natural pregnancy. All those years with marticulous planning and execution ( ) and no result and once night I said yes to DH's nagging we hit the jackpot. Life works out funny. Actually, I think I've heard that it's pretty common for a woman to get pregnant naturally after treament! I hope your wish comes true!

Suga, sorry last night didn't go so well. I become zombie when I don't have enough sleep. My patience level go down below zero when that happens. That sounds like an awesome deal, the house you found. It alwasy wouldn't hurt to go big because look at what happend to us! It sure is a buyers market now.

Kimberley, thanks for the info. I am the type that want the latest gear so we'll probably bite the bullet and buy new BOB. I was very close to getting one last year. Yeah triple stroller. I have double and I had Aly strapped in Bijorn for a while but my back was just killing me. Besides, Aly couldn't sleep while being carried. Baby Trend has a compact triple stroller at around $220. I think Mountain Buggy has triple and that is like $1000! How cute your kids dance and giggle together and once you look they stop! I can just imagine! Thanks, for the pat on my back about work. What I like about is that I get off at 1:30 pm and have rest of the day to enjoy my kids (Sean is at daycare but...).

Anyways, better log off now!!

Take care!

Sameera~ LOVE the photos. We had some taken at that look a lot the same and we just love them. Pricey but worth every penny! We have a lot of the same poses as well. Too cute to pick just one!

Well, we jsut got back fromt eh Pediatrician's office and then the hospital for some blood work for my little guy. Annelise is a whopping 21lbs. 12 oz. making her 20% for weight finally and 49% for height! GO ANNA!!!! Bodie, on the other hand, is 10% for height and only 18lbs. 12 oz. puttin him in the negatives still. Also, both my kids still have heads in the 95% so it makes their body weight even less if you took the time to do the math. No big deal for Annelise but Bodie is already only the average size of a 7 month old and we had to get blood drawn to make sure everything is fine. He's a great eater and eats quite a bit of protien already. He's a fabulous sleeper and a very active boy when awake so who knows? Just doing the blood work to make sure all his organs are working, he's not anemic, and not thyroid porblems. Gotta love waiting!

While we were at the hospital we visited my friend who just had her twin boys yesterday! I miss that age!!!!! So cute! Memphis and Cash is what she named them and they seemed so small. It's hard to imagine mine ever having been that little. Actually smaller??? Can't wait for another baby around here!

That's our day so far! Better get something done.

kholtan: We have a friend who has a baby girl who is 9 months old and only weighs 13 lbs!! They have done no tests on her and the pedi does not seem to think anything is wrong. I keep telling her to find out because she is not eating a lot and not growing...I am weirded out that the pedi does not think things are wrong. So hopefully your tests come back AOK! I am sure he is just an active boy.

We went and looked at houses today and we did not find anything that was too interesting to us. Either this was wrong or that...so we will keep looking. We found one we liked (from the front at least) that we will look at later as we did not have an appointment so probably this weekend we will look more. I have decided we need 4 bedrooms. Florida homes are small if you go for 3 bedrooms. I dunno why Florida tries to cram everything together.

Oh, Kholtan---I hope the bloodwork comes back okay! Were either you or DH small when you were little? Maybe it's hereditary? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

Well, today, my kiddos FINALLY got accepted into a great daycare center here in town! They were on a waiting list since I was 12 weeks preggo. So, that's a grand total of over 2 years! They'll only go two mornings a week (since my parents help us the other 3 mornings.). I'm really excited that they'll be going to this daycare center because they do lots of large motor/fine motor activities, crafts, music, etc. The babysitter they have been going to just doesn't have the room in her place to do all the stuff they need these days. It will be sad to leave her, because she's been like another grandma to them, but this will end up being a good move for them. I just hope they transition okay!

Other than that, we're good. Cabin fever, but good. It's too bitterly cold to take them out right now, and it's supposed to get into the negative digits by Thursday. Hope spring comes soon!

Kimberly -- I hope Bodie's bloodwork comes back ok. If he is full of energy, I would not be too worried but then it would not hurt to get him checked out. Yay, for Anneliese! My Alyson has outgrown her brother as well. Girls in general seems to develop faster ??

Oh, and I bought the BOB stroller on eBay last night! May I brag that I got it for $515 including shipping (Revolution Double Stroller)! I researched and it was least expensive on eBay. Thanks, Jade for your advice!

Kim -- Glad your kiddos can get into a nice daycare. It gives you a peace of mind knowing that they are getting all the intellectual stimulations and not to mention social interactions with other children in a nice setting. The transition may be a little tough (or not!) but I am sure your twins will love 'going to school'.

Suga -- I saw your blog! Your girlies are so cute!! They look very laid back and mellow but I am sure you know the true story! I love that age because they don't move and it's all about smiling. Florida, woohoo, I bet it's nice and warm there. It's raining EVERYDAY in the Pacific Northwest and I sometimes think how nice it would be to live there since my family friend moved because they could not stand the rain. Good luck with house hunting!

Well, here I am avoiding work again.

Take care!
