dys- I think trigger takes a different amount of time for everyone to get out of their system. I read online it can take up to the 14 days which is why they make you wait for 2 weeks until beta. I can't remember exactly from last time, but I started takeing hpt's way before my beta test, I want to say my first one was a week or 8 days after trigger and it came out negative. I knew then that the trigger shot was gone, and I ended up with a positive one day before beta, so it depends on the person. I think this time i am going to do the same with hpts, start early and see what happens.

Supersonic fast update....my progesterone is too high (405/18?) and I am to downregg for 5 more days! Can you belive it?
Estrogen is fine at 185(/3.27 for american numbers=56)
LH fine at 3
How is that even possible at the age of 41 not to be downregulated enough?????

Dys... I read somewhere that you lose 1000u per day so with 10,000 it should take about 10 days. Sending you lots of sticky baby dust.

TKat - Congrats on all your little embies and that you get to do a 5dt. This is my hope for this cycle. I want to do a 5dt just to see if my embies last that long.
Sis1 - I don't think my RE test my progesterone to see if I am down reg'd. I know they check e2 levels but not progesterone. Sorry you have to wait longer. It is only 5 more days. It will go by really quick and you will be stimming at the end of the week. Maybe when AF comes it will clear everything up. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
ct_Michele - Hope your appointment went well. Yes, I would also hate all the driving. Seems like when I am in a cycle i put tons of miles on my car. Usually I will drive to work then drive to the RE's which is probaby 30 miles away from work. Then drive back to work, then drive home. I feel like I am driving all day long. Wishing you the best of luck.
espinozal23 - Congrats on being our first PUPO!!!! Hope you don't go crazy in the 2ww.

So I still didn't get much studying done yesterday. I am a procrastinator. I always wait till the last minute to do anything. AF has been driving me crazy. I spotted for about 5 days then AF officially came last Tuesday and now hopefully is gone. I have never had a visit for this long. Makes me really moody. I am still waiting to get official clearance from my insurance. RE's office was supposed to send them all the info but have not heard anything today. I still have 2 more weeks till I need meds so I am going to stay come and cool for now.
Hope everyone else is doing well.

dys: Good luck! I'm a POAS addict myself, so when I take the trigger, I usually start testing aournd 7DPO and watch the HCG leave my body & then pray for a positive after I get a negative. It's torture though.
tkat: CONGRATS! Having that many awesome embies! I hope I have that many! My RE will only put back 2. I told her I could handle triplets but with my age, I guess she thinks it's too great a risk. I'll be thinking of you Wednesday!

I have not got into the baby shows on TLC yet, but I might check it out.
I have never been looking so forward to my period. I keep feeling like it is coming, but it is not actually not due until the 15th. I would not mind getting it early at all. I am kind of nervous about starting Gonal F, but I know after the first injection all will be fine.

ok TV is off!!! I think not working is driving me a bit batty. It doesnt help DH is away on a business trip and its just me and the dog. Its been so cold here I have just be hibernating in my house.

Hello ladies.... Well, my AF is here full blast. I am just waiting for a call from my RE to know when to start BCPs and Lupron. Now the excitment is kicking in.

As for TLC, I love it. when I was PG with my first, I watched it non-stop... and there are times that watching the shows just hurt me so bad... but then there are shows that give me hope. BETA RESULTS!!!!!
Hope you ladies don't mind me joining your thread. I started communicating on the boards during my last ivf, and it really helps.
We have done four failed ivf's. Two of them ended in miscarrage. The first miscarrage was very early, and we still felt very hopeful. This last miscarrage happened at about 9 1/2 weeks, and we had seen the heartbeat a few times already.
We decided that we would start looking for donor embryos because the doc thinks our embryos are not good enough quality. Things happened very quickly and our four embryos should get here within the next couple of weeks. I am on bcp right now, and Friday I am going in for my lupron shot. If all works out with the shipping, the plan is to be transfering sometime during the first week of Feb. Hope all is going well for everyone.

We'll find out tomorrow. Its all I've been thinking about! I read such a disheartening thing online earlier about how a women had 10 embies on day 3 ranging from 6 to 10 cells and then she showed up on day 5 and they all "arrested". I wish I never read that.

I have researched enough to know that my Progesterone is high because I must have ovulated later then I originally thought...although today is day38? (and I have never had a longer cycle then 39 days (once),- a wopping 15 days after FF softwear indicated I had ovulation. Must be any day now..... but why are my tems are still up?
If AF is not here by Saturday I will request a BETA!
