Good Morning Ladies. Well, I have a little problem and I don’t know if I should talk to RE about it or just take BCPs as scheduled. Sorry if TMI. Well... I started brown spotting Monday and by Monday evening I had red spotting only about 1 TBLS. Tuesday I had red full flow all day. Wednesday I had nothing, Wednesday night I had very light spotting and today nothing only when I wipe myself and it’s a very very light spotting. This is new to me and weird. I am usually first day spotting 4 heavy days and another final day of spotting. Just a bit concerned if I should start Cycle. Now when they say implantation bleading.... is it only light or is it ever like a full flow for a day? Aaaaarrr, now I am afraid it is nothing and if I call RE they will tell me not to start BCPs and then mess up my whole cycle and then they tell me to wait for my February AF. ... but I don’t want to start if it is possible it may be Implantation bleeding and risk with BCPs. Any one ever experience this. Should I be concerned? Help Me please!!

Okandtxdr.... Welcome, glad you are already cycling, so sorry that u have to go thru this, seeing that u r a healthy reproducing woman. But I hope you get your BFP at the end of this cycle. Hopefully they can help your DH with his sperm for future.

Sophie1... Welcome as well. As for your first cycle. Hopefully we can be here for you with answering your questions and supporting you thru this. It is very nerve wrecking, very exciting, very scary, especially when u receive your first box of meds.... but before u know it, you will be in your 2WW. Lots of luck to you and keep us posted.

Aspotoftea... Welcome to you as well. Sounds like we are going to be in the same cycle. I start BCPs on Friday as well. Just as I told Sophie.. You are going to go thru a lot of emotions during IVF, but before you know it you will be in your 2WW as well, and hopefully be getting your BFP. Let us know anything or ask us anything and whoever has the answer will respond. Good Luck to you as well.

Tkat... congrats on your ET. The eggs sound so great and blasts... I hope they both stick. I hope I make it to blasts this time around. As for moving.. Yep, Go Boss your DH around and have fun doing it. So Beta is on the 23rd? So much sticky Baby Dust headed your way. Good Luck.

Waitinfor4... Welcome back!!! Glad u had a good time. As for the Lupron... I don’t know if it will last. If worse comes to worse, your RE should have emergency Lupron. I went thru 1 whole vial of Lupron and my last shot I had to open up my 2nd vial, only for one final injection. So for one injection, your RE may have it... just tell them what happened, I’m sure they will understand so you won’t have to purchase another vial.

Lady_J - I wouldn't be too worried about AF and taking the BCP's. I think the main thing is getting yourself surpressed for your next cycle which the BCP's will do. i don't think it should screw up your cycle but you might want to check with your RE's office just to make sure and releive any stress.

waiting - Welcome Back. Hope you had lots of fun. As far as the lupron, it would probably depend on how much you are taking if it would last. Lupron isn't that expensive so you might just want to get an extra vial just in case.

Tkat - Congrats on your transfer. Hoping your embies are snuggling in. So when is your beta test? I probably missed it in your post.

kraven - all those test just suck. I have to have my ER before the 14th of Feb or else DH and I have to do all the blood work over again. I stopped my pills early last cycle just so AF would come early and I could hopefully have ER before the 14th just so hopefully we won't have to do the tests again. Good luck.

Well today has been a really bad day. My sister told me she is 9 weeks pregnant & I feel like I just can't handle it. I said my congratulations, but she felt this wasn't enough. She wants me to be "super excited" about being pregnant together. What!? I'm NOT pregnant & this IVF may not work! She is younger than me and already has a son about to turn 1 yr old. I can't believe she's going to have 2 children before I have one. It's not even that...she just doesn't get it at all why I'd be in the least bit upset that she's pregnant. I subtly asked if at all possible could she please wait to get pregnant until after we knew what was happening with our IVF cycle. She kind of laughed at the time & then got pregnant. I know it's wrong to ask someone to wait to get pregnant, but it was only a couple months. Needless to say, I'm not laughing. Many of my friends have been getting pregnant lately & they usually say "sorry". My sister has never understood why people would say they were sorry. Even though they have nothing to truly be sorry about, it helps to know they are thinking of our losses & acknowledging our feelings. Anyone else dealing with this or have any suggestions of how to deal with it?

Lady_J - What a dilemma.... Do you really think you could have ovulated that late this cycle and it could just now be implantation bleeding? From what I read implantation bleeding is mostly just spotting. I think you'd be fine to start your BCPs. That's just my opinion though. Maybe you just didn't have much of a period this month. Sorry you're in this situation. What is your gut telling you to do?

to_have_fun08 - My beta is on Friday the 23rd! I hope it works this time.... Did you get your schedule!?! It won't be long now.

This 2WW is awful so far. I'm so paranoid. Twice today at work someone came up from behind and scared me. I screamed and jumped and then felt all tense afterwards until I calmed down. I keep thinking the sudden movements could have done something to my little beans. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. One time during my last 2WW I was driving and had to slam on the brakes so I obviously got jostled around a bit then too. I kept wondering if that's what did it. I need to lock myself in a room somewhere alone with DH for the next 8 days so nothing can effect me. haha...

shelley15 - I know exactly what you are talking about..we have been trying for about 2yrs. now and I have had to deal with about 6 pregnancies w/ friends & family...I know how it feels when you first hear that someone is pregnant, your stomach drops and you just feel so mad, like why can't it just be me already...the worst part is when they do say "sorry" to you, or we weren't even trying to get pregnant..you just want to scream! I have 3 sisters in law that have all gotten pregnant within months of each other, and hear I am still waiting it out...no one truly knows what it feels like besides us, my husband would always say, you can't get mad at them for getting pregnant, ughh men! We just have to remember that we are strong, and we will get there, and one day we'll be able look back and tell our kids how much they owe us for what they put us thru good luck & feel free to vent anytime!!

Well, I called RE and told me to start BCPs. When they did the 3 day, they also took a PGT and it came back a BFN. So she told me to start my BCPs Friday and start 20u Lupron on the 30th.

To have fun.... thanks. It is freezing over here too. I hope my car starts on the way home. But tonight I am staying at home all night.

Shelley.... It's ok, I completely understand what u r going thru. I have no sisters but I do have 4 SILs. One SIL is currently PG and she got PG while I was on my 1st cycle... almost like she planned it. The month I had ER/ET she got PG. ANd then when she found out my cycle didnt work... she said "guess what, I'm PG... "sorry". I didn't want to cuz I am on BCP. I told Peter (her BF) if i can give it to you and he said no." She is only 19 with 2 already and 3rd on her way. My other SIL is my age 31, and has 6 of her own... one she got PG when I was PG with my DD.. but she got PG on purpose cuz she didnt want me having all the attention at that time. Whatever So you see, you are not alone girl, vent anytime. Just be as happy as you can... but when you get your BFP... glow till your face turns gold... and tell your DH to make you an extrasmashing BabyShower.

Tkat.... I'm doing my BCPs. I guess it is always me whishing for that BFP to come. Well, hun, becareful. I think you get startled cuz u r afraid to have any things happen to you right now which is also understandable. Just put some electric wiring around you so people can stay their distance.

tkat- They are going to test dh's sperm first. He has sperm analysis and bw on monday morning, then we consult on thursday, so should know more by then. I know how awful the 2ww is, but we are here for you, just hang in there! Jan. 23 is only 8 days away? Are you hpt'ing before?

prayin- glad you had fun in NY. Your also lucky to have gotten out before this miserable bitter chill. I bet it is nice and toasty warm where you are!

Shelley- I know how hard that must be for you. You can vent to us anytime. It is impossible for us to control what others do in their lives, but they could certainly be more sensitive about things. I am scheduled to be in my future sil's wedding in July. I told her we are going through ivf again and I may be pregnant. She didn;t seem very happy, probably because then attention might be on me and my bump instead of her...you think she could be somewhat happy considering what we have to go through, and it may not happen, and if it does work, I will only be like 4 months and probably not show. I didn;t show with my first until like 8 months, and I was a maid of honor then and everyone was thrilled....ugh, I guess I just vented and aired my dirty laundry too...feels so good to vent though!

lady j- sorry to hear about the bcp dilemma. I am glad your clinic gave you the ok though. I wouldn';t feel comfortable not asking them what to do, I wouldn';t want to risk anything for the cycle, so I am glad it is resolved.

I spoke to my clinic again today to make all my prelim appts. It looks like I will be driving out there at least twice a week for almost the next 2 months. I can not stand the drive, but I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end.

well hello ladies

I hope that everyone is doing ok so far so good for me just been working my a-- off trying to keep busy to keep my mind off things but that just doesnt seem to work every little thing that I feel in my stomach I think oh thats my little beans snuggling in but I did finally break down and buy HPT and I only try to use one in the morning and for the last two mornings it has been negative but I did talk to the clinic yesterday and the nurse that done the ICSI on my little beans and wayched them grow and took care of them for the first three days said that they should start implanting today or tomorrow and might know something like sunday I sure hope so I JUST WANT A BABY SO BAD and I know we all do and I just keep thinking to myself what my baby would look like and my DH is being so good right now I would hate to go through what we went through last time together when our first IVF failed

Also my back is killing me and I just feel so tired dont know if thats from wrking to much or if its AF coming hope not I want her to stay away

Anyone that has had IVF before that has gotten pregnant if you done HPT how long after the ET did you get a postive HPT or am I just testing to early

So great news... Well at least I can say that. My lining was at 6something (sorry i forgot hehe). I need to be on active OCPs until Monday so extra 5 days which is fine by me. I will start stims next friday and will go for b/w and ultrasound on the 27th. I am very happy this cycle is going so smooth but I am ready to start injecting myself. Hope everyone is doing great.
