I will give you all AF, I wish she would leave for good. I started spotting around Dec 31, AF actually came on Jan 6th and still has not totally left. I still have spotting now and then and I am really tired of it. This has never happened to me before. Usually I spot for a few days, have heavy AF for about 2 or 3 days and then pretty much she is gone for another month. UUUGHHHH. I hope it doesn't mess up my cycle.

Good Morning Ladies.... it is sooooo cold here in Chicago. I froze my butt off on the way to work. I had my daughter stay home from school today... it's just too cold. Hopefully the temps will rise over the weekend.

MANDEEKINS... Hun, where are you? How are stims going with you? FOllies, how many? Is everything going good with you... let us know. Hope all is well.

Espinoza... I can tell u r going crazy right now, for good reasons. Usually with a HPT... I've heard ladies get a + on a FR about 10dpo but it is recomended to wait at least 14dpo. You are at 8dpo right now right? Maybe give it a couple of more days, but even with that don't depend on it... wait till u get the actual Beta. When is your Beta? I have so much PMA that u did it hun, just a little more time for you to get your BFP.

BarbD... I'm sorry u r feeling like that with the Lupron. Have u asked your RE? That is what I am afraid of. The first cycle was like jelly... the whole process went smooth up until my ER/ET. .. I've heard that u can react different the 2nd time around. Hoep u feel better.

Roasrio... Yipee.. U R ready girl. It's ashame that we r looking forward to poking ourselves with these needles... how wonderful. My DH said at one point, I look like a junkie... lol. It was funny cuz I agreed.. had to get my fix!!

Sisi... YIPEE!!! Now u r one step closer. Good luck tomorrow qith B/U.

Prayin4BFP... It seems that the Witch is playing games on all of us this month, or at least most of us. I know it is so anoyying. WHen I stopped BCPs last cycle, my RE said that it usually takes between 3-10 days for AF to strike. But if it makes u any happier, I will send her to you over the weekend....

To_have_fun... Hun, what is going on with your AF. And I am over here tripping cuz I only got mine for 1 day. Have u talked to RE, maybe they need to do a blood test for something especially since it never happened before. Cuz since u r on BCPs, have u started Lupron? And when do u expect to start Stims?

As for me... I start BCPs tonight. And AF never did come back... I only have it when I wipe, but I am going to proceed just as RE told me to.

Lady_J - I won't be doing Lupron this cycle. Lupron is the devil for me. Once AF comes I will go straight to stims.

Espinozal- I was hpt crazy my first time around, and i knew that I would be doing it too early and that I would see negatives and I told myself i could handle it, so I wanted to do the hpts. My ER was on dec 11, et on dec 14 and i think I started taking hpts on dec 18 or 19th. Negative, and they stayed negative everyday. On christmas eve morning, 12/24 I was confident I would see a positive since my beta should have been 12/25, but they were closed for christmas and i would have to go the day after. So I thought for sure I would see good news. Of course it was negative. I broke down, couldn;t handle the "happy holiday" when I was so sad. I wanted so bad to tell my family it had worked for xmas. So dh then read online that sometimes first morning pee is not the best, so we tried again around noon, and I couldn;t believe it, a faint line! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

So to answer your question...I did not see even the faintest of all faintest lines until 13 and a half days after retrieval. I must have been a late implanter. My beta on 15 days past ER was only a 46, so no wonder I was getting all of those negative hpts. Don;t lose hope, don;t take all the hpts to heart and remember you can;t be sure until you get beta. Even after my last hpt experience, I plan to torture myself again.

Rosario – That’s great you get to start stims next week! Are you going to be taking the same meds as last time or are they trying something new? Your ER and ET are going to be right around the corner. Good luck to you!

CT_Michele – Good luck to you and DH on Monday. Will they tell you that day what’s going on? I’ll keep my fingers crossed!!

Lady_J – Glad you are starting your BCPs. I’m sure talking to your RE helped. Our bodies do some confusing things to us!

espinozal23 – I think you’re a little too early to be testing. Its sooo tempting though! I'm sure you'll get your BFP in just a few more days!

To_have_fun08 – how do they ensure you don’t ovulate on your own if you don’t use Lupron??

As for me its day 7 of the 2WW. I took a HPT today just to confirm that the hcg is gone and it is!! Last cycle we didn’t test at all….we just waited for the beta. I had no symptoms at all so I knew what to expect. This time around I think we are going to test on day 11 or 12 of the 2WW. If I have symptoms that is.

Hope you all have a great day!

Hi girls. Well I am officially starting stims tomorrow! I cant believe I am back in the swing of things again. Jan 30 ER seems SOOO close! On top of that, we are definitely closing on our house Feb 9 so I will be useless in the big move since I won't be able to carry anything unless I get my BFN that week.

Looks like y'all are all doing well. I am fighting off the flu which I caught in NY. I apparently ruptured my ear drum thanks to this lovely ear infection too. Hopefully it'll go away soon. I need a good relaxing weekend.
Me 25, DH 27

10X clomid, 3 w/IUI
IVF 1- BFP, MC@9 wks
IVF 2- BFN
husband laid off- no infertility coverage
3X with femara, all BFN's but has regulated my cycle and FINALLY got positives on ovulation test
Currently on my 4th cycle with femara

Hi all!

Post by JennLB25 »

Sorry I've been MIA and not here to give PMA vibes to you all. Just have been busy with 2 jobs and plugging along with Lupron.

I just got the call..........
.......
.......
.......

I GET TO START STIMS TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HERE WE GO!!!!! :D

Can you tell I'm a little excited. Can you tell me where the shots are supposed to go. My RE only lets me put the Lupron in the belly. Does Follistim go the same place? I should probably call them to make sure.

But I GET TO START TONGIHT!!!!!

Ok, I have to go get some work done due to me being late because of RE appointment this AM and now I have another RE appt Monday AM.

I start Follistim 225 units tonight through Sunday night, then RE appt Monday AM to see where we go from there. I will also be taking 5 units of Lupron.

I hope everyone is doing well.

OH, AND WELCOME NEWBIES!!!!! :D

Waiting for 4 and JennLB - Congrats on starting stims.   Jenn follistim can also go in the belly. That is the only place I have ever done the lupron and the follistim shots. Belly gets sore after awhile but oh well we can handle it.

TKat - I start doing stims and then they add in ganirelix later on that is supposed to keep my from O'ing. Ganirelix is supposed to be a lot like lupron. Can't wait for you to POAS and get a BFP!

Espinoza - POAS'ing right now would be just a waste of money. I give it a few more days. GOOD LUCK.

Barb
- I also had headaches on Lupron. Lots of ladies have so you are not the only one.

As you all can tell, I am not getting a lot of work done today by how much I have posted. Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Average about 12-14 days. After ET, they normally want you to stay in bed for the whole day of ET, but by the next day, you go back to your normal activites excluding any hard labor, jumping , running, etc...
