I am also getting set for FET on 1/30. I am just taking Estrace and Progesterone (not Lupron). We have 5 frozen and will thaw all, but have been told usually about 20% don’t make it. I try to ignore all odds because we have already hit very small ones, including those we’d prefer not to hit.
I know I shouldn’t have done it, but I couldn’t help looking up the due date if we’re successful. It would be 10/21. Last year we lost the second twin from our fresh cycle on that day. Somehow this makes me feel positive, like it’s meant to be.
It was hard to go back to the RE office. I won’t get to see my regular doctor because she’s out on maternity leave. : (

I had my FET on the 11th. Now in the 2WW. My protocol for FET, on first day of last period I started wearing Vivelle patches. I started with one patch and am now wearing 4. I will continue to wear 4 until after Beta. 4 days before transfer I started PIO. Started out with 1cc now doing 2cc injections.
Siouxsie- Good luck on 1/30 Hope all goes well.
BarbD- FET is a lot easier, less stressful than Fresh cycle. My fresh cycle was in December got a BFN and went straight into FET. I guess each RE is different.
DeeStar- How are you doing in the 2WW? When is your beta? Mine is 23rd. I'm supposed to go have half time labs done tomorrow morning to check my estrogen and progesterone.
Hope for the best in 2009!!!

momwant2b - I am trying not to think to much about it, and am keeping pretty busy..my beta is 1/20, I have had no early symptoms what so ever, so I'm trying to keep possitive & tell myself anything is possible..how are you holding up?? how many eggs did you transfer, do you have any frosties left? We had 4 frozen and only 2 made the thaw so this needs to work! Good Luck!
DeeStar - I'm trying not to think about it either. I've had a few cramps but nothing to get excited about. It is probably to early for any real symptoms. I still have 4 frozen. 2 blasts and 2-3 days embies. I am trying to stay realistic but also trying to have positive mental attitude. My insurance is not paying for any of this so I would really like to for this to work and my age is not helping. It seems like yesterday I was 28 now I'm 38!!! Time sure flies.....
Keep me posted!!!

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to post another success story to encourage you during your FET cycles. I have been ttc since 2005, and started ART procedures in 2006 - 2 IUIs, 6 fresh IVF transfers, 3 FETs (3 different clinics). I had one chemical preg with my first FET, and one suspected ectopic with my last fresh IVF transfer. Finally, I have a healthy pregnancy with my most recent FET (8 weeks now). Out of 16 eggs retrieved, only one made it to be frozen, and that one thawed beautifully (hatching blast) and stuck! So, even just one with a FET can work well Actually, we took some advice from Ghost who recommended freezing all instead of transferring some in a fresh cycle - this way the strongest make it to be frozen, and your body is less stressed in a FET cycle. I wish you all the best of luck.

I had absolutely no signs or symptoms with my last cycle and I was sure it was a no go. It turned out to be positive. Don’t overthink the symptoms. It’s different for different folks.
beladi32-
Thanks for sharing. Hopefully, we'll all be following your example soon.

I started taking the estradil on Thursday and I have my u/s on 1/23 to see how my uterus is doing. The Nurse said if it looks good we will be looking to transfer on the 30th of Jan. I am so excited. I am having these horrible headaches and I don't know if it is the combo of the lupron/estradil, has anyone ever had these or other side effects?
When I started wearing the Vivelle patches(estrogen) I had and still have terrible headaches. When I read the insert in the package headaches is one of the side effects. With tylenol being the only thing my RE will let me take it helps but does not make it go away.
Hope your us looks good on 1/23 so you can have transfer....

momwant2b - Thanks!!! I am surprisingly very calm, I don't know if thats good or bad I'm hoping for a miracle! Are you still scheduled for Friday? My fingers are crossed
DeeStar - still on for Friday. I am nervous. During fresh IVF and I was pregnant until proven otherwise. This time I feel the opposite. I took an HPT yesterday and it was negative. I went on internet and the test I used needs a higher level of HCG than what I could be producing at this time during cycle. Trying not to get down about it but just don't feel good about it....

I am also having headaches. I also think it’s the estradol. It took me a while to figure this out. I felt like no drugs compared to a fresh cycle that side effects never even occurred to me. Had an acupuncture session yesterday and that seemed to help.
