Jenn.. also, YW. I didn't see that part. I try my best to keep it updated and make it look pretty. It's exciting when the waiting to start list gets shorter and the stimming list gets longer.

To answer your question Lady J my BETA is on the 23rd of JAN the day after my anniversary

And I do have a question for anyone that has been through IVF before and has had a BFP how long does it usually take for a HPT to start showing positive

I have been so tired today and have felt the craziest little things in my lower stomach or maybe its just me feeling everything

THIS TWO WEEKS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY even going to go into work tomorrow to try and keep my mind off of it

shelley- I totally sympathize. my sister-in-law is almost 5 months along now, and everytime I see her, she's bitching and complaining about "omg, I'm getting so huge! nothing fits! I eat like a pig!", and she is normally a size TWO. I'm not joking. I'm very afraid I'm going to sucker punch her at the next family dinner.

My very first box of meds arrives tomorrow. I'm scared to open it. The pharmacy called yesterday to go over the list with me, and my head was spinning when she was done.

So, needless to say, reading all of your posts really helps me keep it all in perspective.

Lady J, thank you for taking the time to do the list with all the pretty graphics. It's so neat to be able to see where the ladies are at.

Have a good weekend everyone!

espinozal- I posted an answer to your hpt question before, but so many people posted, you probably missed my response...here it is again:

Espinozal- I was hpt crazy my first time around, and i knew that I would be doing it too early and that I would see negatives and I told myself i could handle it, so I wanted to do the hpts. My ER was on dec 11, et on dec 14 and i think I started taking hpts on dec 18 or 19th. Negative, and they stayed negative everyday. On christmas eve morning, 12/24 I was confident I would see a positive since my beta should have been 12/25, but they were closed for christmas and i would have to go the day after. So I thought for sure I would see good news. Of course it was negative. I broke down, couldn;t handle the "happy holiday" when I was so sad. I wanted so bad to tell my family it had worked for xmas. So dh then read online that sometimes first morning pee is not the best, so we tried again around noon, and I couldn;t believe it, a faint line! I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me.

So to answer your question...I did not see even the faintest of all faintest lines until 13 and a half days after retrieval. I must have been a late implanter. My beta on 15 days past ER was only a 46, so no wonder I was getting all of those negative hpts. Don;t lose hope, don;t take all the hpts to heart and remember you can;t be sure until you get beta. Even after my last hpt experience, I plan to torture myself again.

Lady J- thanks for doing the list, I am still waiting for consult on the 22nd, but I am also taking bcp's already, so you can add me to that list if you like.

Congrats to all the ladies starting stimes...so exciting...I have a feeling this is going to be a successful thread!

Tkat- we will find out about the sperm situation on monday, at least whether they found anything to freeze, RE will probably make the TESE recommendation, or not, on thursday. We are hoping, but I am not very optimistic since he needed TESE last time.

Ok, gotta run...I will try and catch up with everyone else later...

PMA PMA PMA

 I was just thinking how many needles will it take to have this baby?
1 day of lupronx24 needles
10x gonal f=10 more
1x ovidril
at least 8 bloodtests
Acupuncture 1-2 a week for 6 weeks, 10 needles a time=80
So I figure about 125 needles or there about :o

Superpositive fertility vibes to you all!

Congrats to all that got AF. I am still waiting, and it is bugging me. I really am hoping I get it today, but we shall see.

Rosario, what is the antagonist protocol. My meds sounds similar to your's and I am wondering if I am on that protocol. I start off with Gonal f, and then on the 7th or 8th day I start Ganirelix. Then of course to trigger I will take the ovirdrel. On my sheet though it say Ganirelix/ Gonal F Protocol.

Happy injections everyone I really hope I get to join in on the fun today.

I see some of you do Acupuncture, and I was wondering how that helps.

Espinozal- Hang in there, your almost there, the dream that you bff had seems like good news to me. Dreams are always a good sign.

Molly- Hope af comes today for you

Sis- Congrats on starting stims. I know, isn;t it crazy how many times we willingly prick ourselves for this process?

Waiting- congrats on starting stims too. Looks like the few weeks will be exciting around here.

Prayin- so happy to hear af came for you. Its crazy that in this ivf world, it is the only place we are happy to see af.

Kcraven- I am glad your dh's spermies were good. Sounds like you are well on your way now.

I got my protocol in the mail yesterday. I am pretty sure it is the same as last time. Stop bcp's on 2/16, start 375 units of follistim and 1 vial of menopur on 2/20. Then will start ganirelix on day 5-7 days after I start stims, ovidrel will be the trigger. ER/ET the week of 3/2. So now I just wait, but we have sperm analysis and consult this week, and I will have a bunch of pretests coming up, so I think the time will go by fast.

If I missed anyone, I hope you are all doing well...keep the pma's ladies, I have a good feeling we will see a lot of bfp's!
