Yasmina:

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. They were not preachy at all. You have a good point. However, I may buy an OV watch, which monitors the salts in your skin and tells you your 6 fertile days a month. It would be much more relaxing to know when your fertile days are each month without trying to guess.

I'm so glad to hear that your baby is ready! I bet your are ready for him to be delivered too. Are you going to have a vaginal delivery or C-section? Have you and DH settled on a name yet or are you going to wait for him to be born?

I have been having a very weird cycle this month. Using the ovulation predictor I showed my LH surge to be last Wed, 1/7. This would put ovulation either Thursday or Friday. Over the weekend I've started very light spotting and today have pinkish/red spotting. I am also crampy. Today would be cycle day 19 and this would be too early for implantation bleeding. I almost feel like my AF is coming, but this would be too early.
Any thoughts??

Hello to Paula, Rhonda, Catharine, Socal and anyone that I may have missed.

Greetings! :D

I've been reading the posts and hope everyone is doing well. I've had my hnads full with DD. Ar present she is snoozing in her swing. Today was a rough day, a battle of the wills one might say. She is slowly gaining ground back onto a schedule the holiday parties had thrown it off.

Yasmina-great news about your DS, any moment you will meet him. Passing on some gentle positive vibes as you progress towards his arrival. I loved the pic of DD and DH. DD is going to make a fabulous big sis.

P-here in the USA a fraction of our states have some sort of 'mandate' on fertility tmt :( That's why these boards are so helpfull: support, advice, petitions. It's great that other countries systems don't practice absurd reproductive discrimination. For instance, many insurance companies will cover Rx of the male erectile dysfunction drugs while not covering birth control methods. This would lead one to think that our system is slanted to wanting women pregnant, but then how do you explain the lack of infertility tmt covered. Okay this isn't a place to go on about the absurdity of our system.

Good luck to both Tracy and Tammy-fingers crossed may you have lots of fun in your quest.

Rhonda-how are you doing?

Everybody have a fabulous week.

Yasmina: You are too funny. DH is unsure of any "super sperm". Thanks for the encouraging words.

Catharine: Good to hear that you and DD are doing well. It does seem easier when you get them on a schedule. Andrew does better when he takes a nap ~1-3:00pm each day and goes down at night between 8-9:00pm. He has gotten into a bad habit of waking up at 1-2:00am and wanting to come to bed with us. Last night, I let him fuss for a couple of minutes and luckily he fell back to sleep and slept until 6:15am.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi everyone, I had a scare last night. I was getting ready for work at 6pm when i started bleeding heavily. It was clots as well. I went to the emergency room. I haven't been to the Doctor yet but was scheduled for thursday. The ER doc and radiologist saw something in my right tube. They think it was a tubal pregnancy along with a uterine preg. chances of that happening are 1 in 135,000. very rare. My ob doc and her ultrasound tech who has been there 35 years dont think so. They think it is the corpus letum(dont know if i spelled that correctly) that didn;t go down with the egg and that is why my progesterone dropped to 13 last week. They still are calling this a threatened miscarriage. We saw the babys heart beat and heard it too. Tomorrow i will be seven weeks according to the ultrasound blood work and lmp. My doc has put me on bed rest til Monday when i go back for another ultrasound. She wants to look at the tube again. My doc thinks the corpus ruptured and that is causing the bleeding. Its a waiting game now. I have also had really bad nausea. Its so hard trying to work night shift in the ER with all of those nasty smells and gross things that take plac in the ER and to top it off. My insurance denied my request for nausea medicine. How can insurance companies do this. My docs office called twice. Unbelievable. I guess I am supposed to suffer get sicker and end up in the hospital before they will pay. So lets see, give me meds or pay for hospital stay? Doesn't make sense to me.

I hope you all are doing well. Yasmina you are on the down hill now. Catharine glad you are doing well. Tammy hope you are doing well. Thanks for asking about me.

Take care to all.

Rhonda,

So sorry to hear about your scare last night. I've never heard of a tubal pregnancy with a uterine pregnancy. Take care of yourself and get your bed rest! I'm so sorry to hear that the insurance company will not pay for the nausea medicine. I hate dealing with insurance companies. I will keep you and your little beanie in my prayers.

Quick hey to all

Yasmina about 2 weeks left till you meet your son, how wonderful.

Rhonda-what a scare, you will be in my prayers. Ditto on the insurance company interactions-hate it. My 'lil sis used to work for a rather large one years ago. No joke their policy was to deny every first and second claim, the third claim would be sent to another level of managers and the game would start again. The company sees it as wearing the customer down so they just tire of the process and forget about the claim. Sadly it works because only a very small fraction of customers would see to getting their just deserves perscribed under their policies. So, not to be the bearer of bad news I'd just stick to the phone calls keep climbing up the ladder and maybe call the state insurance secretary to see if there is any other avenue.

thinking of everyone else.

Cheers!

Hi all,

It's Friday again and hope everyone is excited for the coming weekend, I am cos I really need a break.

Did an U/S yesterday but disappointed since the tech was quiet and for all the questions that I had she said I don't know you need to ask your dr...Anyway, according to the machine, I am having a 9 lb baby whose head already measured 40 weeks, the rest of the body was on schedule. The bad news is the baby is NOT head down at this time but he was last week! I have no idea how a baby still turns actively at this late stage, isn't supposed to run out room for him?

I was going to try VBAC this time as my ob encourage that also. However, if the baby does not turn back to head down, I will have to do another c-sec. We are also in the process of hiring a doula to help with the birth process this time. Since we acted very late we don't know whether a trusting relationship can be built up within the last two weeks. We have not come up with a good birth plan yet since so many uncertainties still...

More late, thanks, Tammy, Catharine, and Rhonda and everyone else for your asking about me and your updates. Rhonda, I am glad the baby is fine and please update about your visit to ob...

Hi ladies,

I don`t really think too much about my age(46.6?)I don`t even look or feel it!

DH will turn 53 in Feb`,he too don`t look it!

We both have kids but got married 5 years ago and been trying since.

This Tue` is my FET with 2 embies donated to us from a 24y.o proven egg donor so we`re hopeful.

The only concern is that they were frozen 5 years ago so I hope it`ll be ok.

The RE told me they`re excellent embies...

Well, good luck to all and baby dust!!!

Natasha: Good luck on your FET. With 24 year old embies, you have a good chance at getting pregnant. My Embryologist said that I would have a much greater chance of getting pregnant with donor embies or donor eggs.

Yasmina: It is good to hear from you. I was beginning to wonder if DS had made his entry into this world early. How big was Eloise? Andrew was 8 lbs 7.3 oz. It is common for women to have bigger babies with subsequent births. If I get lucky and get preggo again, I could have a 9lb + baby.

Rhonda: How are you? I hope everything is going well. I'm guessing you are in bed right now. Please let us know what your Dr. says after Monday's visit.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi all,

Hope you had a nice weekend, we had snow this morning and it was nice, unfortunately, it did not last long.

Due to baby is at transverse position and our ob said we will need to go straight to hospital at 39 wks to first try an external cephalic version, if fails, c-sec follows on the spot! So, a week to go, officially, unless the baby decides to come out earlier than that, in which case, a c-sec is the only option. I don't mind either way, but prefer a vbac this time. Unfortunately, baby does not cooperate! I may go to see a chiropractor to try to align the baby if time still allows, will keep you informed.

Natasha,

Hope you hit Jackpot this time!

Tammy,

Eloise was normal size when she was born 7lb 11 oz, but this one is way too big, I would expect a boy is bigger, but not that much bigger. Keep in mind that I am a small person...I am truly running out room for him, feeling so big now...

Catharine,

Nice to hear from you and hope you continue enjoying your little precious. Anymore pics? When our DD was little, we took photos all the time since she changed daily!

Back to work now, have a nice week, everyone here!

Hey all :D

Brr it is very cold here in the south.

Yasmina-thinking of you. sending mental picture to your DS to turn head down. I hope he turns and you do not have to experience the cephalic version tmt.

How is everybody? sending out the positive energy to everyone.

All the best,
Catharine
