Good Morning Ladies. Well, I am back at work... eating a muffin for breakfast. Maybe I shouldn't be but I am starving. Anyway, I am going to try to do personals... hopefully I don't miss anyone.

Mandeekins.... So how did it go today? How many eggs? Well, let us know as soon as you feel better. Hope all went well.

Espinoza... I'm sorry hun that u r going "Crazy in the 2WW". I really wish there was an easier and faster way to do PG tests without having to go thru this dreaded 2ww, especially for those of us that count the days to see that BFP and look forward to being mommies whether it's naturally or with the help of science. ANyway. I am glad that u were able to move up your Beta a day and on your Anniversay. That would be a wonderfull gift that will last a life time. As for the HPT... don't stress yourself over the results. I agree with michele and waitingfor4, the only positive reading is the Beta. HPTs no matter how expensive or accurate they say they are, they may not always work this early on. Eventually if u r PG they will work, but for now don't worry about the BFN. I am so sure and hopeful that u will get your BFP, just try to relax for these next 2 days. Some lucky ladies will get their BFP on an HPT 10dpo and others won't get it till a few weeks after missed period on an HPT. So hun... just wait till your Beta. Good Luck Espinoza.

Jenn... I will try to answer questons that I could. As for Follistim, I was on same protocol. For 3 days, tha mount sounds fine cuz everyone differs but as for the size it could be that they are grwoing a little too fast since it only has been 3 days but don't quote me. If I remember right, they want the follies at least 18mm but remember they do grow fast and usually u r on stims for an average of 10 days so u don't want them to overmature. As for the lining, I believe they want that at least 10 or 12mm thick (don't remember too well). I'm surprised they didn't lower your stims a little since you are responding so well, but your RE knows what he is doing so it should be fine. As for the headaches, I don't recall getting headaches as you describe. I did get alot of headaches after ER/ET but not during stims or Lupron. If it gets really bad, then u may want to ask RE because they may need to lower dose a little.. you don't want to get OHSS. And finally, as far as him saying don't worry just do what they say... I didn't like that. Of course u will do what they say but if u r not feeling well or worried then you have the right to ask questions and get answers. Good Luck Wednesday.

ct_michele... Sorry about your DH and TESE. I wish I cold help with answers on this one but I can't. I just hope you get the answers you want and need on Thursday. Hopefully the frozen vial will be enought to make a baby. Good Luck to you and DH.

BarbD... Is Estradiol your stim inj? As for the Crying episode.. well, welcom to the world of IVF meds. Basically it is the meds making you go thru all these emotions. But I am glad that it is crying mood instead of a screaming and yelling mood. :x Good Luck.

Molly... Yipee!! I have added you to the stims schedule. As for the cyst... hope it is nothing bad. But congrats on starting stims and keep us posted. Good Luck on Friday.

waitingfor4... Well, you are almost there. Hope it all goes well this week and you gate to trigger for your ER on the 30th. As for you SIL... I know exactly what you mean and how u feel. Currently one of my SILs is PG. SHe is 19, this will be her 3rd child. SHe didn't want it according to her, she was on BCPs... she is not married just living with BF who is always fighting with her and she hasn't been happy and has been unfaithful to her BF. ANd now she is PG. I admit, I am jealous especially since she got PG in Nov when it should have been me. She new I was on IVF and tells me in Nov when I was in my 2ww... "oh guess what, I am PG. I don't want it so I told Peter (her BF) if we can give it to you but he said no, sorry". I told her congrats and don't worry, my day will come. She said hopefully we can be PG together. Whatever. I am happy for her that she doesn't have to struggle, but it upsets me especially seeing that she doesn't take good care of her other 2 kids. They are always dirty, saying bad words, when she has them outside she doesn't realize where they go until they are already across the street... and they are only 4 and 2 yrs old. ANyway, Good Luck with everything.

Well ladies, I will check in again later, I have to get some work done. It's already lunchtime. Can u tell now how long it took for me to write this up. PLus I watch the Presidents Inauguration.

Lady_J...I'm sorry to here about your SIL. :( I can't even imagine how that feels. I wish I could say more. I just don't know what to say.

I hope you get your long awaited call from your pharmacy about your meds and/or needles.

It seems that I might be responding rather quickly but when I asked the RE about a possible date for ER he said it was too early to tell. He did say if I wanted an appx timeframe it would be about a week, so that would put me to Monday. And Monday will be day 10 of my stims so it seems about right then, at least from what you ladies are saying.

When RE tried to measure my uterine lining he said it was too insignificant to measure. I'm praying that changes by tomorrow morning (5 days of stims by then). I take my shots at 10pm before bed.

Oh, and my headache is GONE!! Yipee!!!! Finally. That was brutal. I think the headache had something to do with my pulled muscle in my neck. All is well now!! A good thing, cause I don't know if I would have remained sane for very long with the headache as bad as it was.

Also, can I get your opinion on something. At my RE's office there is a specific lady that does the B/W and handles your meds and dosage of meds. While taking my blood I asked her about the headaches and if they were a symptom of the stims. She said no but asked what I was taking for it. I told her 3 pills: 1 Excedrin Migraine and 2 Ibuprofen at the same time. She said DO NOT take ibuprofen. She said stick with Tylenol. ......but during U/S RE himself said "oh it's no big deal, it's still too early to worry about." I mean, come on!!! How is it too early to worry about it when Nurse said it affects uterine lining and ovulation?????????? Should I listen to the nurse and stick with nothing but Tylenol from here on out??? My DH says yes, but my headaches get so bad at tiimes that I can't even think straight and I get sick to my stomach. Ok, well, to be honest, I don't even know why I'm asking this question....cause I already know I'll do what the nurse says. I don't want to get a BFN and be like....oh....I should have done this....or I shouldn't have done that.... No, I plan on doing everything in my power to make sure my body is ripe and ready. :D The lady that handles the meds even gave me her cell number and home phone number and told me to call anytime I had ANY questions.

Sorry, this wasn't supposed to turn into a post about me.

I hope all is well with you and I hope your wait to start stims is short and goes by really fast!!!! It is hard not to get wrapped up in everything going on with each of us. I mean, WOW, the steps we have to go through just for a 33% to 59% chance of getting PG. How can it not consume our most every thought of every day?!?!

Mandeekins.... Let us know as soon as you feel better how things went. Hope all is well.

Espinoza... I'm too am sorry that u r going "Crazy in the 2WW". Good luck on your BETA!!!.

ct_michele... Sorry about your DH and TESE. I pray the frozen vial will be all you need. Good Luck to you and DH.

BarbD... I don't know for sure, but I know I even cry easier than ever (which I never thought possible) But I've had times where I just wanted to cry for no reason. I agree wity Lady_J, better to be crying mood instead of a screaming and yelling mood. :) DH wouldn't appreciate that very much. Good Luck.

Molly... As for your cyst... I had one too before they let me start my stims but RE said it shrunk enough to start stims and three days later at U/S and B/W checkup, all was well and I have already a bunch of follies growing and some of the largest are 10mm. Congrats on starting stims and keep us posted as to the dreaded cyst. Good Luck on Friday!

waitingfor4... I too hope all goes well for you this week. As for you SIL... I know how it feels. Not quite to the extent that poor Lady_J does but my little sister who swore she never wanted kids, decided that she did want them and wanted to start trying since she was getting close to 30. She said she was afraid she was going to have problems lime me. Well, wouldn't you know it, 2 months later she was PG! My nephew is now 8 months old and, I must say, I totally adore the little guy. My little sis is a great mom though, nothing like the mom of our former foster son. That was tough to handle, here me and DH are trying for 10 years (at the time) to get PG and this lady was getting her 3rd child taken away. She has since had another baby and has had it taken away from her as well. That's really hard for me to swallow at times. For me I can say that it's gotten better (seeing PG ladies). I think God is giving me peace over my situation and I will accept whatever number of children he'll give me, even if that number is "0". Anyway, good luck with everything.

Esponoza - Hang in there! Don't let those HPTs get you discouraged. I know they can be addicting. Try to wait and see what Thursday brings.....I'm sure you'll get your BFP then!! I'm having such a hard time thinking about anything except this potential pregnancy! This 2WW stuff is so mentally exhausting. I've been having some sharp pains in my belly. I have OHSS right now pretty bad which is adding to my discomfort. I had OHSS last IVF cycle too and my RE said I probably wouldn't get it this time around. So much for that. Oh well....hopefully it'll all be worth it!!

Deestar - CONGRATS on your BFP!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon everyone! Sorry I haven't been on the board in a few days. I've been off work since last Friday... we've been moving into our house so things have been pretty hectic. I thought all the moving would take my mind off the 2WW but NOPE! I wish I could do more personals right now but i need to get running....

Deestar... I haven't seen you on this forum before and if I missed you and your cycle... so sorry. As for your BFP.. Congrats, hope you have a happy & healthy 9 months.

Tkat... Hi HUn, well u only have 3 more days. How exciting. Have you done an HPT by any chance or r u staying strong and waiting for your Beta? I know u will get your BFP. As for your move... hope u r not moving anything and overduing yourself.. u need alot of relaxation time right now. Happy moving though... new nest sounds promising. Good Luck Tkat.

Jenn... I am glad that you are feeling alot better now. But nurse is right... I was told NO OTHER MEDS but what is prescribed and for headaches.. strictly Regular Strength Tylenol and Sudafed... nothing else, but just as you, I was told not to take for after ER. So prior to ER I was using Ibuprofin so now I am wondering if it is the reason mine didn't stick last cycle. Now I need to remember to ask RE about it at my next appointment. Thanks for that... it helped me to know as well.

Everything went good this morning ladies. We got 13 good eggs and they said they got lots of good healthy sperm from DH's TESE. I don't know why, but I was worried that after having a vasectomy for over 10 years those little guys wouldn't be very good! I've got pretty bad cramping and feel like I have to walk stooped over. I slept pretty much all afternoon and now we're going to watch a movie. And DH, he used the ice pack for like 30 minutes then took it off to go to lunch and hasn't needed it all day...lucky *******!

Now we just wait for the embryologist to call tomorrow with the fertilization report. I'm staying away from reading percentages, cause it scares me! I am going to do some research on day 3 vs day 5 transfer because I still don't understand which one is better.

JennLB25 - I was told the day I started BCPs that ibuprofen was not allowed! I was told I could take Tylenol and that was it.

I'm off to the couch now ladies...PMA and baby dust to all!

Rosario- I definitely know how you feel. The stress and intensity of this process is sure to bring you down. Its ok to let yourself feel sad and depressed sometimes bc hell, we all need to wallow in self pity a little... but dont let this stuff take over your life. We just need to remember that this is only a temporary state and no matter the outcome there is life, a great life even, on the other side of IVF. With or without a BFP, we will all be able to move on and find our place in the world and make the most of it. I have found myself pretty depressed lately and stressing over whether this time will work and whether this time I will/wont miscarry and because of it, I am letting my life just slip by. I need to enjoy my husband, my dogs and cats, my friends and the rest will fall into place if its meant to be.

esoinozal- the progesterone acts differently on different women. it can either keep your period away if youre not pregnant or even make it come on stronger. with everything they have us on its hard to read any sign or symptom anyway because you never know if its a baby or the shots. atleast you only have one more day. good luck!
