Hope everyone is doing well!

Rosario...I understand...it is so hard to keep PMA during this process.

espinozal...It must be so hard waiting for HCG. I wonder how I will be during that time but honestly I dont want to even think about it since I will probably be more of a basketcase than I am now.

mandeekins...congrats on 13 eggs...WOW! MY Dh was the same after his TESA...I was jealous. We had his TESA done about 10 days or so prior to my last ER so we wouldnt have to recover together and it was a good thing because after the ER I was doubled over cramping in pain nauseous and not able to get out of bed. AT least he was there to take care of me that first day.

TKat...congrats on the house! We are moving too in MArch so I will soon know how you feel. I have been trying to purge all the crap we have collected living here for the past 10 years before I start packing. March will be here before you know it!

For anyone else I missed hope you are doing well with lots of PMA.

I had a mental breakdown yesterday but I am much better today. I woke up late to go to RE for BW. I have to be there by a certain time in order to get same day results and if I dont leave my house by 5:30am there is a good chance I wont make it since RE is so far away. Well I woke up at 5:20am. It seems the alarm clock went off at 4:30 and instead of hitting the snooze DH hit the off button. I just lost it and started screaming and crying. I threw on clothes and ran like a lunatic out of the house. I just made it there in time since there was 3 accidents on the expressway and traffic and etcetcetc...
DH called me and he said something about being so busy at work and I started crying again and I threw the phone against the door of the car! WHat is wrong with me??? I have never done anythign like that before. Well I got home (took me forever again because of traffic...I missed my wondow of opportunity with traffic because of the timing) and he was waiting for me ...he works from home. So the poor guy is trying to say he is sorry and I start crying AGAIN!!!! Jeez!!!! I am not certain why this man puts up with me right now...I am an emotional wreck. It wasnt as severe last cycle. I mean I cried but I wasnt crazy like I am now. I hate feeling this way.
Anyway we made up...well I said sorry and he said he wouldnt touch the alarm again. Thankfully I didnt have to go into RE today. SIGH!

Prayin4BFP- Awwwe be nice to your self and give yourself a break, this is not really you, it's just your boday so full of hormones it can't break down fast enough.

Hang in there just a few more days now and it will all be worth it in the end. I do identify with how you are feeling though, I have had my share of hissy fits as well, especially when I think DH is not with the program in the way I would have wanted it. I think I am possibly worse now that my body is trying to adjust to normal...I am crying at a drop of a hat.....

Calm, stong, positive, sticky fertility vibes to you. 8)

SISI! I didnt know your cycle had been cancelled! I am so sorry. I wish I could see you to give you a hug.
Thanks for the kind words...it seems I am the hardest on myself and DH is fine. I asked him why he puts up with me and he said he needs to be more understanding...WHA??? I dont know how he could possibly be anymore understanding! :?

AMEN to that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You said it sista!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the reminder. I have been so wrapped up in this IVF and shots and needles and emotions, that life is just passing me by.

Have a great day. PMA PMA PMA

But, on the IVF side of things..... :D .....can't leave it out all together....LOL

My U/S today showed a bunch of follies with some of the largest ranging to about 13mm. RE says only 5 more days at most before trigger shot.

He wants to see me back on Friday and Saturday or Sunday for more B/W and U/S. Only thing is, if I need an U/S on Sunday my RE's office is closed and I have to drive 2 and 1/2 hours to the Cleveland Clinic just for an U/S!!!!! :x I just pray that I don't have to do that. RE says that I'll most likely be triggering on Sunday or Monday!! Wow, this is really happening! I can't believe we are THIS close.

Well I have to get back to work. See you all later.

Good Morning Ladies. Happy Hump Day!!! I am at work trying to catch up but I needed to check in on you ladies.

First of all... Sisi1: I am so sorry hun about your cycle being canceled. :( You had so much PMA since the beginning. Well, when you do start you cycle in March again, we will still he here for you so don't go no where. When do you go back to RE to check in for your new protocol? Do they know what did it or why or how that happens (oversuppresion)? Again, I am so sorry. Hope u get to start again and that the time goes by quick for you.

Espinoza: :P 1 More day for your Beta!!!!!! How exciting. So are you going to go to work tomorrow or staying home for results? Good for you that u did no HPT this time... in less than 24 hrs u will have your results. I really hope & pray you will get your BFP. As for AF, there is no way of giving u a for sure answer. Just as waiting said, the prog reacts differently in everyone. My AF showed up the day after my Beta last time. You will do great... Good Luck tomorrow Espinoza.

Jenn: It is almost your turn. :D I am so jealous in a good way right now. Everyone is leaving me behind :o( I am glad u r responding well to stims. Hoep you get alot of eggs and your BFP as well. And I hope you don't have to drive 2 1/2 hrs for that US, but if u need to then just be safe. Good Luck!!!

prayin4BFP: I am so sorry about your Breakdown. I am glad that DH understood and didn't take it personally. Some DHs seem to forget the changes we go thru during this process, I am just glad that my RE pointed this out to my DH before the last cycle. Fortunatly I didn't have angry swings, mine were more emotional, crying swings. Well, I am glad that u r feeling better now but keep reminding your DH that it is not u in that state, it's the HoRMoNeS going BeRZeRKk!! SO how are your follies doing? Good luck again.

Roasrio: It's ok to vent here anytime. That is what we are here for to listen and to help in any way we can, and it is so understandable thru this time in our lives, cuz with all them meds your emotions and feeling tend to come out. ANd it is great to vent. I had a moment just the other day and I am barely only taking BCPs, I can just imagine how I will be when I start stimms  scary. Well, hope u r feeling better and if not then talk to us.

Just got call from RE's nurse. I reduce my follistim to 150 units tonight and they want to see me Friday for more B/W and U/S. She said that I may be taking the hcg shot on Monday and ER possibly Wednesday. She said this is tentative because we don't know what my body is going to do.

Just my update.

I had my first u/s this morning and it went well. The nurse could only measure 1 follicle on my right ovary with 4 sm and left had 3 measurable with 2 sm. She said it looks good but thinks its less than last time so we'll see what my estrogen is showing. It worries me bc when I had like 22 follicles @ ER last time we only got 11 eggs with 6 mature?! I guess its too early to freak out- I will let y'all know what she says when she calls.

I just read an article saying the most fertile women have BMIs between 24 and 28. I think I am going to give up on losing weight and just try to be healthy. I can always lose weight after the baby gets here :D

Hi there!
I am hoping to join your board as I am currently taking BCPs for IVF 3. I remember some of you ladies from earlier boards and look forward to getting to know the others! My hopes are with each and every one of you--this is a heck of a trip and I hope we all get to be Mums soon.

It has been tougher for me to muster up my PMA this time around. After two failures you start to get a bit discouraged! But I am hoping 3 times lucky and this one will work.

I take my last BCP on Feb 1 and then start stims for my microdose flare protocol. I am a low responder and treasure each and every egg I get as there are never many! Is anybody else on this board a low responder? I have been taking Chinese herbs for 3 months in hopes of improving my egg quality and quantity. I am also doing acupuncture and yoga.

best wishes to you all.

Well ladies I got the fertilization report back and I'm trying to stay upbeat today. Out of 13 eggs, 8 were mature and only 6 fertilized. The nurse said we would prefer a day 5 transfer, as would I, but that right now it's looking like a day 3 transfer. I'm trying not to freak out, but that doesn't sound good to me! It sounds to me like they want a day 3 because the eggs aren't good quality? She didn't give me any of the other information like grades, should they know that by now? Or should I call and check?

Also, I have to start the progesteron shots and that scares the crap out of me! I was still out of it when she gave it to me yesterday and I didn't feel a thing. However, last night and today...man that thing is SORE! Any tips on smoothing that process out? The nurse said ice pack on my skin to numb it and rub the oil in my hand before injecting. But, I've seen some people say to heat the skin and the oil. What do you think?

Hope everyone is doing well...I still don't feel 100%, hoping this feeling goes away by tomorrow.

mandeekins- I had to do a 3 day transfer too. The choice of this over a 5 day is not because of the quality but the quantity. They want to have more choice of which eggs to use and there will be more on day 3 than 5. There is nothing to worry about and I dont think they even know much yet about them. As for the shots, I never found them to be too bad. Lie in a fetal position on the bed so your muscles are relaxed and make sure DH puts in where the dr's showed ya'll and it wont be painful. Even at its worst for me was still better than the stims!

Hey quick question.... I need to order progestrone. I'm asked if I want a vaginal suppository or injection. Which have you all used?

kcraven- i used vaginal suppositories, I wasn't given a choice. I had no issues with the vaginals, but i know a lot of people use the injections. I don't know if one is supposed to be better than the other, but my ivf cycle was successful.

Injections have a slightly higher success rate but the injections are in the muscle and hurt.

Suppositories can be a bit messy.

Do you have concerns that you may not produce enough progesterone?

Personally I opted for suppositories (but I know my progesterone production is above average) but I think the wast majority here did the injections.

Hope this is helpful, good luck!

Thanks!! I was thinking the vaginal would be the way to go only b/c I figured I would be sick of all the shots! The nurse told me it didn't matter one way or another, she wanted me to go with what I prefer.

Sis1 - sorry to hear about your cancel. I wish you all the best for March!!
