My first IVF cycle was a BFP and my ds is now almost 7 months old. He is wonderful and my dh and I can't wait for more. We have two frozen embies left from our first IVF and are planning on using them this summer. I am not feeling very positive about the FET but my dh is. I would like to use both embies but he only wants to use one at a time.
I hope you can share some info with me...
Did you have a BFP or a BFN?
If you had a BFP how many embies did you transfer?
How many implanted?
I had a FET and got pregnant first time - this was my first ever pregnancy as well. I had my little boy from this transfer. He is now 2yrs & 9mths. I thawed 3 embryo's and had two embryo's survived and I had both f these put back - they were only two cell & 3 cell as they were frozen at one cell to increase chances of surviving thaw. I know that my hospital would encourage putting two back to increase chances of success. Just another thing - I don't know what your reasons were for having to do IVF but I had completely blocked fallopian tubes - since being pregnant both of my tubes have completely cleared (I was told I would never concieve naturally). Since my son was born I have been pregnant 3 times - unfortunately I lost the first two of these babies but have just given birth to my daughter on the 30th Dec. I plan to use the rest of my frozen embies when she is about one as I want to use them. Good luck with your decision. Vicky

Hello,
I have a daughter ( she is going to be 9 months on Thursday) and she was concieved via FET. I had a fresh cycle, 2 embies were put in and it didn't work and then on FET cycle 4 embies were put in and one stuck around.
Good luck

I have had 2 FET. One after an unsuccessful fresh round that was -ve and one after a successful fresh round and it was +ve but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage.
My first FET resulted in our little girl, we had 3 embryos left and defrosted them all as normally only about 50% make the thaw but all 3 of ours were fine, so i had the best 2 transferred. I done a natural cycle which was so easy, the hard part was waiting each time to know if they made the thaw and then how they were doing.
good luck
