In the end I didn't have my little girl until the 30th Dec (5.20pm). She was 9 days late and I was induced in the end. She weighed 9lbs 1oz and was 21 inches - so almost the same as yours Heather - I am 5ft 4 as well. The doctor said I would not have ben able to get a bigger baby out - so I wished they had induced me earlier! Had a good labour - very quick - she was born 6 hrs after they broke my waters. I had to have forceps and episiotomy but compared to my labour it was a walk in the park - and SO great to have the experience of giving birth naturally (had C.section last time).
She is super gorgeous of course and we have called her Tess Genevieve Mary. She is pretty good about sleeping so feeling okay apart from that I still have some pain from the cut which makes chasing my 2 yr old a pain. Glad to hear your all well. Take Care love Vickyx

Vicky - Congratulations on your new little (big) baby girl! I can't believe your Dr let you go 9 days past your due date. ugh! I bet you were crabby and uncomfortable. I'm glad everything went well. Hopefully you're getting some sleep.
