Good morning everyone!! Sorry I haven't been posting much this week. I'm trying to get my mind off the 2WW. Its been an emotional week.

Sisi - I'm really sorry to here about your cancelled cycle. Try to stay positive. I think its great that you're still so engaged with the board. March will be right around the corner and I'm sure it'll be a success for you!!

Lady_J - To answer your question....yes, I have been doing HPTs. I got a faint positive on Day 10, a solid positive on Day 11, and another positive today (Day 13)! Tomorrow is our BETA! We're being cautiously optimistic. I've been extremely exhausted and have period like cramps and occasional sharp pains. That's it. My boobs aren't even that sore. I keep hoping they'll get more and more sore but not so far which kind of scares me cause I figure as the hcg rises I'd feel more pain there. We're very excited but I'm just as nervous at the same time. DH has been sooo great!! Whenever I do the HPT he comes down to the bathroom with me cause he doesn't want to miss a thing! He's been coming home with little surprises for me every night too. Hope this pregnancy works out cause a girl could get used to this! haha

I wish I could do more personals but I have to run! I'll write more later!

Hope you all have a great day!

Siss I am so sorry about your IVF being canceled, and I wish you the best of luck next round.

TKAT,wow it sounds like you are pregnant. Wishing you lots of baby dust, and I hope your Beta goes well.

There is really no news for me, since I don't go to the doctor until tomorrow. I have been taking my Gonal F twice daily and doxycycylene. I really don't feel anything yet, but am I really excited about tomorrow. I hope the cyst is gone.

Is it okay to take Tylenol cold and sinus. My throat is scratchy from the cold weather. I need to call my nurse and ask, but they do not open for 30 mins, and then it takes them half the day to get back with me.

Everyone have a wonderful day. When I have more time I am going to work on doing a personal for y'all.

TKAT - CONGRATS on your positive HPT!!!! YEAH!!!

espinozal23 - The Beta registers the HCG in our system. The same as an HPT but it is much more sensitive.

Hope everyone else is doing good. I will try and do some personals later. I have been lurking the sight but haven't posted much. Right now I have lots of work to do.

espinozal23 - Sorry I think the chance of a BFP is really slim. Usually with a beta they say anything over 5 can be considered a pregnancy though if it were that low the possibilities that it would turn out to be a live pregnancy is really small. If you had a -5 yesterday, I would think that this cycle was a bust. I know that sucks but I don't want to give you false hope. Most RE's say you have to have a beta but if your regular DR already did an HCG which is the same thing then I wouldn't think you should have to do another test. Call your RE to see what they think. I am so sorry, sending you lots of ((((HUUUGGGSS)))

Hi girls,

So, I'm here again with my weekly update. My hcg is FINALLY negative! We had our FET info session and are now just waiting for AF to arrive. My start date will depend on when AF comes as they won't begin the FET process until 6-8 weeks after D&C. If my first AF comes before that time, we'll have to wait a full cycle before starting. If not, we can start this cycle. So, we'll see. How are you all doing?

-Robin

I spoke with my RE amd they have said that the HCG that the DR done isnt the same test that the RE would have done they stated that those are two different test and that really it is too early so I think I may wait until Monday to go in

whats going on with our forum ladies? it used to be everytime I logged on, I would have to read at least 2 full pages of new entries and now I am limited to only a couple of new comments a day

espinozal23- just like the nurse said, you never know. You will get your answer in the morning and no matter what, everything will work out. Good luck in the morning!

As for me- been unGodly tired ALL day. I finally figured out my headaches lately are from my stims. Helps to let me know they are actually working. I go in for another us/bw tomorrow. Hopefully I will get a more exciting result than yesterday. I was a few follicles shy of where I was last time. Maybe that means they'll be more mature this time?! Who knows. I just want to make it through to next week but then I have a hellish few days waiting for ET then a hellish 2 weeks waiting for Beta... This IVF stuff sure makes you wish away your life- I definitely need to work on that!

Any ways- have a great day girls. I hope all is well with everyone! I am SO excited about the upcoming Betas!!!! BABY DUST TO ALL!!!! :D

Hi everyone again, I've been a little shy about posting, since I'm a newbie, I was reading and trying to get to know everyone before i just started yapping, I didn't want people to be like "who the heck is this?" :D

espinozal, I'm anxiously waiting for what is hopefully good news for you.

waiting, I hope that your US shows some good stuff!

robin, here's wishing AF to come sooner rather than later!

sisi, I'm really sorry your cycle got cancelled. big hug to you.

tkat, that's so exciting, I'm sending you good vibes and well wishes for this.

So, I got my first box of meds on Saturday. Wow. they send me pretty much everything under the sun it feels like. Right now, I'm still taking the BCP, and I have an appt on Feb 4 for a baseline scan and some b/w. if everything looks okay, I'll start Lupron on Feb 6.

This is my very first cycle, so all the needles and meds made me a little woozy just looking at them. I'm SO determined to be strong, but I admit to be scared, big time. *nervousnervousnervous*

So, I know Sis mentioned accupuncture, I was wondering if anyone else had/has tried this, and had any pearls of wisdom regarding this.

wishing all of you well!!

Good evening everyone!

Tea- Sounds like you are right on track. That first med order can be kinda scary, but you will be a pro in no time!

tohavefun- yay for meds coming! It is always exciting to get special deliveries.

waiting- how many follies did they see? Maybe less does mean more mature...keep us updated, and I am sure ER will be here in no time.

Espinozal- I am sure if the nurse said there is still hope, then there is. I am praying for you and hope we hear good news soon.

Tkat- is your beta tomorrow? We can't wait to hear!

As for me- we went for consult today. RE is optimistic since we were successful last time. He says we do not NEED to do TESE but does highly reccomend it. He said if we don;t do it, there may be enough in our frozen vial, we just have no backup. They took blood from DH today to try to figure out some stuff. I guess his FSH levels were elevated last time and if they have gone a lot higher now, then TESE would probably be pointless since they may not be anything left and we would have no choice but to just hope the frozen vial is enough. They looked at the report from last time, and they said the lab tech took 60 minutes to find 8 motile sperm to match with my 8 viable eggs for icsi, which he says is a long time and means not much in that vial. We are going to call the urologist tomorrow and try to book a TESE for soon as we wait for the blood results. Even though it stinks to pay all the fees associated with TESE when we may not need it, we would rather be safe than sorry.

On a happier note- he got to meet Ella. We asked him if we could take a picture of him holding her, and he was delighted. He is such a nice guy. He told us about last months cycles, he said they had 11 people, 8 got pregnant, 2 miscarried and then out of the 6 who were left, 2 have singletons and 4 have twins. Seems like fairly good odds to me, especially considering we have had success and they know what works with me.

Ok, I will of course keep you all updated.
