Barbarella! Good to hear from you! Glad things are going well. Maybe by some miracle your house will be finished! That would be a relief...but as long as you are comfortable where you are, try not to stress about it.

babybaby, I am not sure what advice to give, we didn't have much luck with FET, but it turned out our RE should not have frozen the ones he did. They were poor quality. You could find out if your RE has any criteria the embies have to meet before freezing them. Otherwise, just trust in your doc. and relax as much as possible. Good luck to you!

Faith, how have you been? Face cream...I used to use a Mary Kay product for years, and it worked wonderfully. They have to have something without perfumes, if you can find someone to sell it to you without hounding you all the time...lol...I stopped using face creams when we started all this IVF stuff. Don't know if it affects anything, but just to be safe.

I have been through egg retrival, fertilization and freezing.
We thaw on the 29th af Jan. & implant on the 2nd of Feb.

I no longer can socialize b/c I never know when I'm going to burst into tears. I have a class with my the ladies in my synagoge on Monday nights, out of the 7 of us, 3 are preg, 2 have 3 kids and are done, 1 newlywed and me, in my second year of infertility.
How does eveyone cope with thier fertile and ignorent friends?
How do I explain crying at the drop of a hat without getting the pity look witht he cocked head?

Hey there girlies! Sorry I have been MIA. I pop on and read but I have been so busy working and with my kiddos that I haven't had a chance to catch up.

malya324 ~ First off - good luck with your upcoming FET. I don't have an answer for you. I went through years of meds, hormones and infertility and I have older children. I also would cry at the drop of a hat, I gained lots of weight, was very moody and almost couldn't stand myself. I just spent a lot of time ignoring ignorant peoples remarks and apologized to the ones I loved a lot.

Beth ~ Hey there momma!!! How are the babies doing? Any new updates? New U/S's, pictures, etc. I want to know how you are doing with two of them in there??? Also, belly pic time???

Faith ~ Hey there sunshine! How are you doing? How about some pics from the wedding? I don't use "face cream", but I use Neutrogena face lotion, the hypo-allergenic one - I think it is Healthy Skin Oil Free one. I use it daily. Any news???

Barbarella ~ Sorry to hear about the stones. Sucky a la roo! You are getting so close. I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. I am still waiting for belly pics missy!!! I can't wait to see Dylan.

Laura ~ How are you doing darling?

Babybaby ~ I wish I had some advice for you. I did 3 cycles pretty much back to back. Two of them were FET. I always put in 3 embies and I always ended up PG but only the last one stuck and now I have the most beautiful baby girl. I did insist on them putting back 3 of my best embies this last time around because they were going to use some of the lower quality ones. Good luck on your FET.

Waiting ~ Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. We've decided on 1 more year of keeping them frozen until we decide what we are going to do next. Good luck on your next cycle.

As for me... Addy got her first cold. Poor baby. She is doing better now. She was sleeping through the night, but since she got sick she has been waking up more. She sleeps with me still

so she just eats and goes right back to sleep though. I almost wish I could start trying again but I am still exclusively BF'ing. I am not sure how long I will do it, but for now I want the time with Addy. I will post more pics soon, need to download them.

Hi all!

Donni- Addison is so sweet- sorry she got a cold and glad she is doing better now. Can't believe she is already 3 months old!! That's great that you are nursing- I nursed my ds till 1 and it took a lot of commitment but it was worth it and I think he is healthier from it. I'd love to see more pics of her!!

Malya324- Best wishes with your transfer! It's definitely impossible to not feel emotional when you're pumped up on hormones and I think what Donni said was perfect- you have to try to ignore the ignorant ones and open up to your close friends if you are comfortable with that. Good luck!

Faith- You are so funny asking about face cream- i love it! I am lazy and I just use Aveeno baby daily moisture lotion on my face and everywhere else too. I used it even before my ds because it has the same ingredients as the regular Aveeno but is cheaper cuz it's the baby one...it's definitely fragrance free and all that. Hope you are doing well!

Beth- How are you??!! Hope you are feeling good! Have you had any more ultrasounds? Will you find our the sex of the babies?

I'm back- I'm at work and am supervising so I had to go cover someone so now I'm at another computer

Barbarella- So sorry about the kidney stones- no fun! My husband has had so many of them and he has so much pain. Just think you now know what labor will feel like!! Your due date is really coming quickly- I just love the name Dylan! We still want to see your belly pics! Have you decorate a nursery yet?

babybaby- Good luck to you with your FET! I wish it was so easy that we could tell you a secret tip to have success- I think the best thing is keeping a positive attitude and faith.

Beth- I just saw your earlier post that you will find out the sex of the babies. That is awesome that you are already to your OB and that you are nearing the end of the first trimester! Are they suggesting an amnio for you this time? Their heart rates seem like boys!! Isn't that right that the boy's heart rates are generally less high than the girls- I can't remember!!

We will officially move into our new house next weekend which is exciting but it's been a ton of work to pack and now the unpacking will begin! Luckily my ds is watching tons of sesame street DVDs so I can work on everything. Well back to work - it's about 3 am here and I just have 4 more hours to work! Take care all, Laura

Hi Ladies,

Nice to hear from everyone.

I am still so very tired...don't get much done. DD has been pretty patient with me, but I too have been using some DVD's as a babysitter. (Not that it is wrong, Laura...) I am grateful to have some rest and keep an eye on her.

I had an ultrasound yesterday. I am about 11 weeks along adn they are growing the way they should be. When I saw those little arms and legs moving around, I just burst into tears. I guess I felt a sense of relief. I have been trying not to be nervous and not to worry so much, but I just want everything to go smoothly. I feel like we have been TOO lucky in this department and something will happen to take it all away.
I haven't really told my friends and extended family yet. I guess I am afraid to jinx things!! Sounds dumb, but true.

I dont' know about the boy/girl heart rate theory, but they were at 168 and 171 last time they checked.

I am old, so they are suggesting an amnio...I haven't had the 1st semester screening done yet, so maybe I will see how that turns out.

Donni, belly pics?!?! F -- no! I don't think so!!

I had a bit of OHSS and filled with fluid and it hasn't gone down. I look about 5 months pg already. I have been living in big sweaters and sweatshirts and sweatpants.

Well, I think it is naptime for both me and DD.

Donni, I hope Addie is getting over that cold! I feel so sorry with babies with colds being that they can't blow their nose...! So Addie is spoiled sleeping with mom huh? I've heard through friends that babies sleep better that way...and that means more sleep for you!

Keep sending those pictures, I love seeing them!

Laura, so how's the moving process?? Hopefully it's going smooth! I bet it's hard with a little one though! It sounds like he's being a good boy though watching his Seseme Streets! Let us know how it's going settleing in!

Hey Beth! Sounds like those twins are growing!!! I'm still guessing one boy, one girl! Amnio is scary to me! But I don't know much about them, but I know they can tell you a lot of information. You're not old yet! 36 is still young and hot, lol. You are going to have twins to run after, you can't be old

lol. You will find out when the sexes are right?? Oh and I do agree with Donni, belly pics are a MUST! Hey remember when Donni was pregnant and couldn't see her "you know what" and she needed shaving/waxing advice! HA! Sorry Donni, I forgot about that one! LOL! Good times!

Barbarella I can't believe you are due next month! Am I the only one thinking that your pregnancy flew by? Wow! I was thinking May for you! Dylan will be home before you know it!!

As for us, we still are not sure when we're going to do another FET, but no worries I will let you all know! Thanks for all your info with the face lotion/cream. LOL!! You are all the best

So for those who haven't heard. Our cycle was canceled becuase my linning went back down. We are going to have an experimental cycle were they start me at a much stronger dose, to see what we can do about the linning. Then another cycle in March if that doesn't work, if it does work, they say we can go with the experimental cycle. Hope something works. So thats the update, all those waiting for your beta's you are in my thoughts and I hope this is succesful for you.

Hi Girls,

Just a short one today. I don't have much time, but I wanted to say hi.
I am still out here, big as ever. Already wearing maternity pants and such, nothing fits anymore!
I am noticeably PG and people started asking.

Nothing new...I have doc appt tomorrow, I hope everything is ok. Each appt stresses me out!

Donni, the pics are adorable! Your two girls are beautiful!! How have your kids adjusted to you having a baby? Are you really thinking of starting another cycle?? wow!

Laura, hope the move went well and you are all unpacked and cozy by now...

Faith, you crack me up!

Hey my peeps!

Love the pictures as always Donni! Your girls are beautiful! Your 14 year old looks a lot like you! Yah, that's true we might FET together!! That would be great, even though you're brave for doing it again! You'll be one busy mama! Oh yah don't you just hate it when you type a whole message here and you lose it!! UGH, I hate that..makes me want to rip the computer out of the wall and drag it from my truck down the road...lol.

How's is going Laura with the new house? Setteled in yet?

Barbarella won't be long now! Let's see March 10th is...TWO weeks away!!! Wow!
