Just to let you all know that I have just received a message from Nik (she is illegally using her phone so was v short!) to say she is in hospital and could be there for the duration!
Oh no she will hate that - I know it is the best place but for one she has only just got her brand new rocker!

ttc 9 years. 38 yrs old, dh 8 hrs younger!First IVF in Aug 2002 and had ectopic.2nd IVF neg.3rd FET and negative.4th FET and positive but sadly lost our little boy at 20 weeks.5th FET and Alice Isobel and Emily Charlotte born 5th Aug 2004!
I do now have more news
Nikola had a bleed yesterday - to do with her placenta praevia and becuause it is twins and IVF and her pp then they want to keep her in - they think maybe the next two weeks but the consultant said it could still go to 36 wks! He did say if they were born now then they would be ok - icu but still ok as they are quite big and are being given steroids.
Nikola is quite relaxed but obviously we will miss her posting

I.V.F started in 2001. 1st cycle +ve mc nov 2001 at 12 weeks. Fet mar 2002 +ve then -ve.
2nd cycle +ve eptopic oct 2002 6 weeks.
fet mar 2003 -ve. 3rd cycle over stimulated embies frozen. Fet nov 2003 +ve due 11/8/04.

just read your post, poor nikola, they both must be so worried and BED REST how will she cope without shopping, oh well- somebody will have to take her place, actually we made a huge purchase today-- a beautiful new 4-bed house with my ensuite loft room, im so excited that i cant sleep.
we only saw it in the paper on friday and bid today and got acepted, then my son {whose 18} got accepted for the met police today so have to say on a bit of cloud nine at the moment...
i also bought the gina ford book, anyone elce buy this? or already tried it out?? looks really good..
i had a glass of wine to celebrate, and i wish i hadnt,, -heartburn galore-
anyway, give my love to poor old nikola. what about a laptop? she then could post all day long.. please god it will only be for the next couple of weeks not full term...

Thank you for all the lovely messages - can't talk to her yet as she is still fighting to get a private room - had a long chat with her DH and she is fine - relaxed about it all - he is fine too.

Her DH told me the fertility nurses (who are nxt door) have told her to do as she is told as the nurses in there are not to be messed with so if they tell her to have a bath she has to have one even if she doesn't feel like it then - I had to smile - I can imagine her getting fed up with that.

I do miss her - very odd as we only met through this site and IVF (It had indeed its up sides!) and feel very close to her - she is lovely. Will get percies sent through though her latest is chips with everything and walnut whips! I hope for the babies they are longer than two weeks away as each day means less in ICU!
As for me well trying not to do too much(nikola would say no change there if she read this!) and sleep when need it.
Jackie - fab news re the house - I am buying things on ebay but nothing as large as a house - not sure DH would be amused as we are broke! and good news re your son! I have Gina Ford but not much on it for twins! Jules if you are reading this it has one page on it for twin feeds at about 6 weeks - what about before and after? Any tips?
