Hello everyone,

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I got back from an 8 day business trip Friday and am only now starting to feel the jet-lag less.

I'm still catching up on all the posts - but it looks like tons of good things are underway! Baby dust to all of you stimming, in 2ww, etc.

Hi everyone,

I had an U/S today and there are 9 sacks as far as they could tell. They are small so they have raised the Gonal-F to 225IU and they took my estridol (sp) levels. I go back Tuesday for another visit.

How many days did you all stim? Most of the sacks are around 8 and they are all about the same in size and they said that was good. I really thought I would be one to have like 20 and when they said 9 I was a little surprised.

sprouthaus - I know how you are feeling about the jet lag! We have to travel 3 hours one way for these visits and last night I only got 2 hours of sleep and we had to leave the house at 4 this morning to get to the appt. on time - needless to say when I got home I crashed! I still don't feel rested. I think when you lose sleep it is hard to catch back up.

london - How r u feeling? DH taking good care of you?

Tburks I am fine I have a cold nose is running and congested. I have been cramping off and onsince ET so hope to God that is a good sign.
I want to test early but DH said NO! so iI am going to listen to him since he say I do not listen . My Beta is on Mon Feb 2 so we will see.
I think I could have stimmed a little longer but oh well it is what it is its out of my hands.

How r the prego ladies?

I went to the doctor today, and I am disappointed but they seem to think I am doing well. I had 5+ on each side, so I am really hoping for some more tomorrow. My Estradol level went from 450 to 850 something, so I guess that is good. My lining measured 8.9 and I was really hoping for more. I have been stimming since last Monday, and I was really hoping for better results by now. From y'all's experience does mine seem normal.

Sounds like everyone else is on track.

LONDON - Sorry u r not feeling well. bad thing to is that u can't take anything for it. I think I would wait to take a test. I know it's hard. If it's to early u may get a BFN and it be wrong and then u would be really disappointed and for no reason. Cramping sounds like a good sign to me. just think it's those little embies digging in for the ride for the next 9 months!

What is BETA? I guess I haven't gotten to that point yet.

MOLLY - what r u'r sacks measuring? You should be coming up on ER soon. Is this the 2nd time they have tested the estrodal levels?

The biggest ones way 1.4 right now, and they say by the time retrieval comes it will need to be 2.0.

Molly - It sounds like your RE measures follies different from mine - but I'd say from your Estradiol that you sound right on track! Also, 5+ on each side seem very good - some REs will only tell you about the ones that look to be big enough to hold an egg. So, you may have many more smaller ones too. Don't lose faith, it only takes one! Also, my lining would grow leaps and bounds between days 8 and 10 of stimming, so be patient. It will keep growing even after ER - so you should be just fine.

london - sorry to hear about your cold. What a drag! Your beta is just a week away - how exciting! Definitely too early to POAS - but let us know if you do later in the week.

tburks - I can't believe your commute! Just making it to appointments is so stressful, I can't imagine going through it with your long drive time. Don't worry about the number of follies - many REs believe that less is more because you will get higher quality. Some women will produce 20 but only have a couple viable eggs. Just keep thinking quality, quality, quality! Besides - it is a really good sign that you can feel the effects of the stims so early on. It sounds like you are responding quite well.

I just got back from my appt. Now they are seeing 13 sacks. measuring around 10 to 12. They are going to keep me on the gonal - f and menopur and I start ganarelix tomorrow. My retreival should be Sunday or Monday.

Oh....... I can't wait till this is done!!! The drive is getting tiresome. It took us 5 hours to get back home today bc the roads were so bad. We had like 8 inches of snow and it hit real early this morning. I have to go back Thursday and she said maybe Friday too, it just depends on how things are looking Thurs. Seems I am a slow grower. But they said that is better than getting them all at once.

tburks - I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Your drive does sound tiresome. I must say, thinking about driving in snow helps me realize that waiting until the spring to try again is the right thing to do!

Great news on your follies - everything sounds really great! I can't wait to hear about ER, and fert report, and everything!
