wow ALREADYBLESSED--I actually had to read twice the part where you said that he hit you. I CANNOT believe it!!! OMG, what was he thinking? Obviously a crazy person: to be driving like that and then hitting a pregnant women...geezz.
As the other ladies have said, take care of yourself, and at this stage of "our" game we should worry about our little ones and forget about jerks like that one. Sorry you had to go through such a nightmare. Sending you lots of luv my friend.

You know, after living in New England for a while I kid of got used to supporting the Patriots, but now that I live in Southern NM it's all about the cowboys...people here are crazy about them...tell DH he can always come around here and feel comfortable

SONU--SO good to hear from you, you're getting so close. Are you having a C-section like you wanted? Thinking about you, keep us posted...please!

Hi to all the rest of the ladies :)

Hey Ladies!!!

First of all I am sorry for being absent for so long. Its just that everything has become so bulky and difficult. Though I know its just my body. Many a times I tried typing a message for you guys but ended up having numb hands and legs and hence couldn't complete the mail.

I am going for two week check from the 7th month onwards and the latest news is that we are going to have a c-sec in the last week of Feb, the date is not yet fixed. Needless I am so excited that we all are almost there.

And...the thrill to find out what it will be makes it all the more exciting. I think I may be having a boy but as I said before I always wanted to have a girl first. I say it may be a boy because all the symptoms lead that way. :)

Donna - I am glad you were able to put things in perspective. I have realised in big cities people become insensitive towards each other, it may due to the everyday stress people have to go through.

You also have less than 9 weeks left. What have you decided natural birth or c-sec? Take care...my dear.

Romi - I have been reading your progress and your days with you and your baby...you pampering yourself with whatever you wanted. It would have been so much fun...not to be watched by anyone. Not many weeks left to meet your little ballerina. :)

Jenny - I am so glad you are also doing great!!! Yeah we all are almost there. :)

Michele - Best wishes for another journey. Well, I may follow your example...not sure. :) Ella is simple adorable.

Hugs to all.

Oh Esperanza...I am so disappointed. :( When we first started out together, and you were a new englander, you were my patriots buddy! What happened!?! I can't believe they converted you! (of course I'm just kidding and your still my buddy, just a rival on sundays now though)

Donna - What a terrible thing to go through! It sounds like he grabbed your wrist first so I'm not sure why they would be able to arrest you for spitting at him. And punching you in the face? Not an appropriate response even if you weren't pregnant! Humph.

esperanza - I grew up in northern NM and I never understood the obsession with the Cowboys. Being in Denver now I'm perfectly happy to back the Broncos. Enjoy registering - I did find it a bit overwhelming. I had the Baby Bargains book which helped alot. A lot of the "essentials" the stores list are not really essentials at all.

emfossum - Hey there CO buddy! Nice to see you are having a boy - you have a DD already, correct? I just had my first encounter with lower back pain last night. My prenatal yoga instructor said that we tend to hyperextend our backs when we are pregnant which can contribute to this sort of pain.

I'm feeling good - this little girl is an acrobat in my tummy. She's twisting and turning and bouncing about like crazy! Heartburn has kicked in really strong. I can feel myself getting bigger daily but I'm not at the point where I'm uncomfortable yet.

Cheers,
Amy

hehehhehee, you crack me up Michelle!!!! I'm still a Pat's fan ;) I just read my former post and can understand why you think I switched. I meant to say that I support the Patriots because I lived in New England for quite a while, but now that I am here all I hear about it's the Cowboys. HOWEVER, I have not converted, at least not yet 8) I don't even keep track of their games or anything. I do get excited, though, whenever I see a Red Sox or Patriots shirt "walking" around (although that only happens once in a blue moon). I feel like I'm in a different world! Go Pats...lol!

Michelle--I saw Ella's pictures, and I noticed she was wearing her Pat's outfit in some of them...cute! I remember when you were early in the cycle/early pregnancy and said that that was the only thing you had for your baby (regardless if it was a boy or a girl). I got a warm feeling in my heart when I saw the pics because it made me think of how long you had been waiting for her and how special it is to finally have her with you.

By the way, Ella has a rocking/diva/gorgeous winter jacket 8) (the leopard print one!)....oh my!

Oh my... that is a crazy story. I am so glad you are okay. What a lunatic! I would have been enraged and scared out of my mind. Who knows what a person like that might do. Sorry you had a such a bad day. I think of it often when I have a bad day and hope that my baby is not traumatized in the womb!

Yesterday we made a family decision to sell out horse to a wonderful family. There are many factors, but they don't take away the pain of saying goodbye to a friend and family member. It is even harder when your daughter seems like she will never forgive you. I cried most of the day and then realized that my baby is probably as stressed as me. Sorry little guy. Today I am better and feel I really needed to shed those tears. Oh did I mention that in the mist of this mess I was in a terrible fued with my DH. It seemed like everything came around at once. Anyway...I am better, and I know that despite how much we try to lead a stress free life and take care of our babies that there are some things we can't avoid. I plan to take a long bath here in a minute to pamper myself a bit.

Hi Amy (Kerpupples) - Nice to hear from you! Maybe she will be a little gymnast! I like that you are in a prenatal yoga class. I really need to be doing that as well. I have started so many projects that need to be finished that I can justify taking off for a yoga class and leaving everything! I don't know about anyone else, but I am staring to get pretty tired now that I am in my third trimester. I just don't have very much energy these days!

Elizabeth - I'm so sorry you had to sell your horse! I can't imagine having to give one of our dogs away. Hope the pampering helped you to feel a little better about it. I only go to prenatal yoga once a week - would like to go more but like you I am busy with 10,000 other things as well. You should try it, I really enjoy it. Maybe it'll help you focus more on your other projects when you are at home. :) At least your diminished energy levels mean you're entering the home stretch.

Hi everyone!
So we are all meeting at this new corner - thanks Esperanza!
I am writing very short sentences as like Sony I feel numb...there is not much energy left in me for more than metabolizing proteins and waking short of breath to one more of too many bathroom breaks (why at night, Jenifferwit? I don't get it!). It is nice to see new faces/names and read everyone's stories.
I am glad all is well with Esperanza's ballerina. I wouldn't dare to give birth at home considering the time it took all the staff to share my medical history when I got hospitalized last week. I found warmth and human contact all right so far - at this highly specialized center I go to to check on my triplets...so as long as we are comfortable..
CT_michelle, thanks for the info on monitors! And AlreadyBlessed, thanks for the "rent a pump" suggestion. I want something that really works. The more I read on breastfeeding the saddest I get, seeing how many mothers ask the nurses to give the bottle to their kids...One more: the effort of suckling reduces the frquency of hearing infections and the contact with mom-specific antigens reduces the risk of allergies!
Alreadyblessed, what a week! the puppy being a typical 8 month-old nightmare, the incident at the hospital! I imagine NYC as a global village, with all sorts of surreal incidents...hope you can stay more and more at home - a nice whale but not on wheels. I am a whale on the sofa and am kind of enjoying it, in spite of the shortless of breath.
We are doing well, a bit slower on getting the house ready but...the good thing is that my BP is down again and we are trying to reach the 32 weeks benchmanrk (I would be glad to deliver them by then!). Baby A and C are doing well; Baby B is not growing as much but she has passed the vitality tests with good grades to we have to give her more chance to grow- here I go to the fridge again...small portions and high concentration of protein.

Oh, Starbucks has a drink that carries the umbelievable amound of 30 grams of protein - if you like pinnaeple and soy, it is for you!
Be well, everyone!

Hello March/April mommies!!! how are you all doing? I'm feeling good for the most part, but sleeping has officially become a problem. I mean has progressively become difficult, but now is here to stay until labor    Last night she just kept dancing and dancing and I kept feeling as if the sides of my torso/belly were stretching.

Literatriz by reading your post, sounds like you're back home. Are you? I'm glad your 3 beauties are hanging in there with mommie. I'm sending lots of great energy for them to hold on until week 32. I feel short of breath often, I can't imagine with 3 buns in the oven

Good to hear you found human warmth at your medical center; to me, that's the most important thing. I love going to my midwives office precisely because of that. My REs office was just the same, but the doctors I was seeing when I had the miscarriage were so cold that left a bitter taste in my mouth. HOWEVER, this time is different and I'm sure all of us will get/are getting the human warmth and attention we deserve.

Alreadyblessed how are you doing dear? I'm feeling heavier and heavier, but I don't know what's heavier...my belly? my boobs?

Ok, dh, just brought breakfast, time to go do my favorite thing...EAT!!!! can't have enough

I will send more personals to my other ladies after breakfast.

ALREADYBLESSED-- ok, back from breakfast and grocery shopping. So, how are you doing?

Sonu-- good to hear from you! how are you feeling as you get ready to welcome your precious one? I know you wanted a c-section, are you getting one? when? sorry if you have already mentioned it...baby brain! Anyway, thinking of you and sending lots of love.

Kerpupples so you go to prenatal yoga, how nice! I always thought that I would join a class whenever I got pregnant, but I didn't even do my research to find out where in my town they offer them. I've been taking walks a couple of times a week, and I'm planning starting some stretch exercises here at home as labor gets closer and closer. Speaking of that, I feel like our time is coming up and we're not ready...how about you?

emfossum sorry about your horse. It's ok to feel down, we are humans and healing a loss is very important. I don't have any pets, but I know that they become family after a while and having to give them up is very difficult. How are you feeling now? I'm sure your little guy is just fine, as long as you continue taking care of yourself and keeping a healthy diet.
What's up with your dh?   he just needs to be nice to you!!!! I told mine, "you're lucky because I'm very active and help you a lot when I should just be sitting around waiting for you to cater on me, SO...YOU BETTER BE NICE, ALRIGHT?!" he has no choice!

Wishing everyone else a wonderful week.

Hi ladies!!

Esperanza - Glad to see you are doing great with little ballerina!! You breakfast break was toooo long...hope you stuffed yourself well. :) Yup, eat well and eat lots of proteins in any form.
My only concern these days is the baby weight. In my 32nd week the baby was just 1.5 kgs..which the docs say was normal, but reading other posts I was getting paranoid, if I am eating that well. Being a vegan, it seems to be a problem. Anyway. I am going for normal checkup on Wednesday. Keeping fingers crossed. :)

If everything goes as planned, I am booked for c-sec in the last week of Feb, we still have to choose the date. :) We bought cute little things to welcome the baby, all the things essential and basic when baby is here and my bags are packed. Everything seems so real now...the feeling is overwhelming.

Literatiz - Great to see you doing great with 3 darlings. Well, you are almost there. And the bonus is that you have girls in there and they are the great fighters.
I had a friend who had to go through emergency c-sec in 28th week due to placental abruption. She delivered a baby weighing less than 900 gms, but she survived like a champ...now she is a cute little girl of 4years. :D
Well, I know everything is just going to be fine with you.

Alreadyblessed - Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you are doing great!! Busy nesting in??

Jenny - How are you doing, dear?

So good to see so many of us here...its always great to share!! My formal hello to kerpupples, emfossum...sorry if I missed anyone.

Hey there ladies!

Esperanza- So nice of you to remember my story about the patriots outfit. I think about that everytime she wears a patriots outfit (we have more than one now, since she is starting to outgrow things). It really makes me think back to how badly I wanted her, and how lucky I am now. And thanks for the compliments on her diva leopard print jacket. Can you believe that came with an outfit, a onesie and a pair of equally cool jeans. I got it as a gift at my shower. I am not allowed to buy things that are too diva-ish, dh doesn;t like them, so I need others to buy them for me!

I am so happy you are all so close to your deliveries. I bet you are getting very excited for the arrivals of your little ones. I am so happy for all of you and just wanted to pop in and say hi again. I will be follwoing you all, and can't wait to see delivery day pics!

Oh, and by the way, for all of my bargain shoppers, now is the time to pick up clearance clothes. I went to kohl's yesterday, spent forty bucks and got a huge bag of stuff for ella. I didn;t spend more than $4 on any one item, got her a christmas dress for next year. I also saw clearance deals at sears, pennies, macys, burlington...it is the time of year when all retail stores try to dump leftovers, so go shop ladies!

Hi girls,
Good to know you are only dealing with the normal inconveniences of pregnancy. I am back home, on bedrest with "bathroom privileges" - thank Lord!
DH just came back from the doctor's office. He has a painful case of trigeminal neuralgia - stress does it to you. Well, he is a sweet heart but getting very nervous with the whole situation, taking care of me, worrying and all. I know some DHs are also expressing their distress in not so nice ways - they need to behave, right Emfossum?
Sonu, a 1,5 kilos baby is a nice three pounder - able to breath and eat independently. I don't understand much about nutrition and vegetarian diets. My nutricionist told me to eat eggs, cheese and rice/beans combinations (they make complete proteins combined). Are you being followed by a nutricionist?
Alreadyblessed, I hope you have fully recovered from your encounter with that maniac. I don't go out that much which is in fact a good protection. Another day I went to the movie and let me tell you - no one slowed down to make things easier for me in or out the theater. Only a minority of people practices courtesy and solidarity - that is a fact our children need to learn to defent themselves against without loosing hope.
Hope you all are well - i need to go back to bed!
Best wishes, Literatriz
