Yes, I have been experiencing the same thing concerning nausea and I had the same comment (I thought this was suppose to subside by now) . But, I am just happy that I have not had any severe complications in awhile. I have my first OBGYN appointment tomorrow and I hope it goes well... I am also extremely excited that after tomorrow, I will be off from work until Jan. 5th.

I attempted a long message right before Christmas, but I got kicked off line. So, with that being said. Happy Belated Christmas. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with fam and friends. I've had a horrible sinus infection since Christmas Eve. It's miserable. I feel like the groundhog because everynight I'm sitting on the couch at 2:30 straight up like a zombie and this has reoccurred everynight since then. Can't bring myself to take an antibiotic. I've been doing salt water squeeze bottles and some Tylenol cold med.
Anywho, to the good stuff....Monday we went for our sonogram. They turned off the tv and put the sex of the babies in two envelopes and I locked them in my glove box and my 8 year old read them to the whole fam on Christmas morning. WE'RE HAVING TWIN BOYS!!!!!!!

Did you find out through an appointment with your OBGYN or did you find out through the 4D ultrasound that you said that you were going to do around Christmas?
I had my first OB appointment last Tuesday and it went very well. I was able to hear my baby's heartbeat through an abdominal doppler but she had to push so hard that I was so very sore the next day. I made appointments with the nurse practitioner and doc for January. My doc also said that I am cleared to go on my business trip, which is scheduled for January in Dallas. I was hoping that I would not be cleared just a comfort thing right now but I hope everything will be alright. This will probably be my last trip for work while pregnant...

How is everyone feeling. Any great stories from the holidays? Let's see...I got a horrible sinus infection and was on the couch for several days. OBGYN finally said I could take a Zpac. We are so excited about having 2 boys. Trying to appease the family when it comes to names is a different story. Anyone finding out soon??????

I have two appoints set up for Jan. 14th & 15th and they will give me a script then for the ultrasound to find out the sex of our baby. I probably will not find out until I come back from my business trip to Dallas so the end of January.
This is a great day for me because this day last year I graduated with my Master in Business Administration and I am officially 15 weeks today. That makes me very happy. Well I hope everyone is doing alright.
Hey all... Just checking in. Things in my neck of the woods are going okay. Just trying to stay warm (going to be VERY cold here this week) and enjoy my pregnancy! Went and bought a few maternity clothing items but trying to hold off a little more on really shopping.
We have our "big" ultrasound scheduled for February, but we've decided to not find out about the sex. Really want to be surprised. Hopefully we can follow through with that goal! lol

Our board has been kind of quiet so I wanted to see how everyone is doing out there. I have been trying to stay warm and avoid these flurry of snow storms and ice storms we have been getting over the last few weeks. I am preparing for a business trip next week and hoping that the travel goes well.
I have been experiencing severe headaches and dizziness to the point where I feel I am going to pass out. So I went to my OB today for my 16 week check-up and he is running a CBC to determine if I am anemic. Have you guys experienced the same thing?
Has anyone spoken with BabiesGalore? I am thinking about her after she explained that her amino showed down syndrome. BabiesGalore if you are reading this. I am sorry that you are going through this and I know you will make the best decision for you and your DH.

Where is everyone. Still on Xmas vaca?
Angelaezra, I was having terrible headaches around the same time. I wear contacts and started changing them every 3 weeks. That has helped.
We painted the nursery this weekend. It's called "Macadamia" by Sherwin Williams. It's like the color of a Yohoo. I'm picking up the bumpers (blue chenelle) tomorrow. I'm having the bedskirts made. Blue, light blue, chocolate brown and light brown stripes. Our 2nd crib and chadelier should be coming in the mail soon. YAY!

I hope all is well with you. I just spoke to a close friend of mine at Abbott and she just got laid off. She was just hired for the expansion force to sell the new version of Vicodin. I hope the lay offs did not affect you at Abbott.

Angela...No, thank god I didn't get laid off. The prior steps for hiring a sales force without the drug being COMPLETELY approved is in my opinion a thing of the past. I can't believe how much was spent on that sales force and it didn't even come to market. The world as we know it is crazy.
What are doing in Dallas? What do you carry? I have all cholesterol meds.
The DMs are so worried that I'm going to up and leave on bedrest. My 2 partners are pretty new and lean on me for much advice. They are both great and I'm not going to leave until the last minute! Positive attitute.
Pumma, Glad you had fun on vaca. It's been freezing in Georgia. I used to live in Colorado for 6 years and can't image living in cold weather for a long period of time.

I was in Dallas for our national sales meeting. I mainly sell pain management products (Opana, Lidoderm, Voltaren Gel) to pain specialist, rheumatologists, & orthopedic surgeons. But, I am finally home from a very long, long week!!
I agree ... companies should not hire and fill positions prior to any drug approval by the FDA. The industry is so different even from a few years ago.
its freezing this morning, -6F in MN, its just crazy. i can't wait for the wormer wheater. i used to live in CA for 9 years and it was just perfect, but now i am stuck here in the snow and cold and with the recession, i probably won't get away for a while.
i have been feeling movements for the past 2-3 weeks. i usually try to rest after a meal and watch for the baby's movement. i just the greatest thing. i will be going for my big ultrasound on feb. 12th. i think we'll find out about the sex.
other than that i am doing good. i am also still using my fetal heart monitor which was great to have on my overseas vacation.
We put both cribs up this weekend! I feel kicks all day long. It's unbelievable. I bent down yesterday to pet my golden and got a sharp kick. Practically knocked me backwards. I got 2 soccer players going to town.

Pumma- It sounds like it is freezing up there. We are expecting a big snow storm tonight but the weather is around 10 to 20 degrees.
Adjec- How are things going up in Michigan?
Liz35- I have my next OB appointment next Monday and then we will make an appoinment then to find out what sex our baby will be. I have been feeling some movements since week 14 just the (quickening) but not the full blown kicking yet. I will be excited to feel that so my DH can experience it also.
