Symptons of headache and nausea without vomitting

ladies, any suggestions on how to deal with these annoying headaches the whole time!

I am in my 10th week with twins and its never gotten so worse for me!

Headaches with nausea ( without the vommiting) is making me miserable, i am eating the whole time ( fruits, nuts, etc) as the books said that eating will help reduce headaches etc! but to no avail!



Please let me know if anyone has simple tried and tested remedies , home remedies.

Headaches were just about my only symptom during the pregnancy. You can have Tylenol but not Ibuprofen during pregnancy. I found this helped me.

thanks AManda, did u have tylenol extra strenght? and the regular dosage of two?

I did take extra strength but I only took 1 to be on the safe side. However, 2 should be safe too. If you want to be extra careful you could take 1 until after the first trimester and then take 2. By the 2nd trimester all of the organs are developed.

u can take extra strength (2) of them at any point they are on the medication safe list. also try lavender lotions they calm the nerves get dh to rub them into the back of your neck .. chamomille tea will also help

San I am also 10 weeks and have constant nausea which gets worse throughout the day. I try to eat as much as possible in the mornings and i know i wont eat a proper meal after 3pm. Like you i am grazing on nuts, bits of this and that and toast is good. It does seem to relieve it a bit but mine is not going away either yet....

As for headaches, i am getting them some evenings (3 or 4 a week) and i take 2 tylenol extra strength with a piece of toast to line my stomach. I know how you feel, i am counting down the next few weeks as we are supposed to feel better then!!!!!

for neausa ginger.... ginger snaps... ginger ale.. anything with high contents of ginger.. you can also get an over the counter med called emitrol for naseau its a safe drug too

DItto the Tylenol...find out how much you can take from your OB

ie: Nausea...it was my only side effect with twins, and it was a drag...it went on for quite awhile, and now, even post-delivery? I still get nauseous from time to time (don't even go there about needing Prilosec now, when I never needed it before pregnancy! Ack)

I hated the nausea...only thing I can recommend is to be near a door or window wherever you go...I dashed out of many a restaurant, leaving my husband behind.
