BFP After First IVF Cycle?

Jennjenn- everyone is different, but as you can see it is definitely possible. It worked for me on the first try, and for more than 50% of my original cycle buddies. Just stay positive, and you will see that someday the emotional roller coaster you are riding will stop at happy town! I hope it works for you, it is so worth it, Ella is now 3 months old and we are enjoying our first holiday as a family...good louck and lots of baby dust to you!

Yes..it does happen...i thought i was extremely lucky and it was perfect timing for us. Keep the PMA and hope you're one of the lucky ones!!

Quick Update! :

I started this thread wondering if it was true that women can get pregnant after the 1st cycle and I am proud to say that I have. It is certainly amazing! Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and success stories!

I got a BFP on the first try as well! They put in 2, 2 day embry., and I got twin girls!!! 24 years old with PCOS!

I just found out i have a bfp with my first try. It's only 4 1/2 weeks and i'm really hopeful. my dh and I have had the attitude since the start that there's no reason it would not work. we're holding on to the same motto! You'll do great!

jen jen,first good luck on your transfer!

We did our first FET Jan`20th,2 blasts donated embies from 24y.o proven egg donor,Feb`2nd,got BFP,beta 189,my nurse didnt want me to get sec` beta and u/s only on my 8 week,will call them tomorrow since I see all the ladies have it other way...

Jen,

YES IT DOES HAPPEN!. as you can see from all the other posts, it happens more than you think. I was also a lucky one...I got pg on my first IVF (never mind all the failed IUI's). I am hoping to do FET at the end of the year, so I hope I get lucky again!
