Hey girls, hope everyone is having a good weekend. I went out with some girlfriends last night for a friend's birthday and it was good to get out. Of course they were all drinking wine and I had my first non-alcoholic beer. It was called Buckler and pretty good! They also wanted to go to a sushi restaurant so I had to eat all veggie stuff. Oh well, it was good just the same.

Chris, so glad to hear you got to start stims! I wish I could have gotten a response with just 150 cc of Follistim. Slow and steady stimming sounds like a good plan. Sorry your procedure was a bit painful afterwards but at least they got the fibroid removed and you're ready to roll. How long before your next appt?

Kas, how exciting you saw your 3 little ones again! I think someone else was experiencing round ligament pain but can't remember who it was. Hopefully that will get better. Are there stretches that can help? Looking forward to seeing your picture if you can post it. It sounds like Heparin is a good switch from the Lovenox.

NY, just one more full day until your beta. You must be getting so ready! When is your appt on Monday?

Karen, enjoy your time to yourself. I love my DH and friends/family, but it's really nice once in awhile to have some time alone. I especially love to go shopping by myself. No one to slow me up. It sounds like you'll be doing some shopping soon for some cute new clothes. I'm gonna look into the bella bands when the time comes. I hear they're great!

Babyhope, you have a great positive attitude and it's good they discovered this early and that it usually resolves itself. The baby measurements and h/r sound good too. I don't think they've given me measurements in anything other than weeks yet but maybe I'll ask next time.

hi wonder, how are you feeling these days? found any nursery ideas yet? now that my FIL is away for 2 weeks, i'm going to paint the baby room (i'ts currently the guest room he's staying in). i'll do some taping and prep tomorrow, then paint next weekend.

you're only a few days ahead of me...has your belly grown much? can people tell by looking at you? i still haven't made an announcement at work yet, but will next week for sure- i'm sick of feeling secretive, and i'm over my bitterness about some of my colleagues behaviors / gossip. so it's time.

hope everyone's having a good night.

ps. that was elida with the round ligament pain also kas, our other triplet carrier. guess you guys experience some things earlier than us singleton ladies..

take care all, karen

Hi Karen, it looks like we're both settled in on a Saturday night. :D I'm feeling pretty good these days thanks. I went for my monthly OB appt yesterday and got to hear the heartbeat. That's always fun. I had also put on a few pounds since last month so that made me feel good. I'm starting to have a noticeable bump now but can still wear my clothes for now. A co-worker actually put her hand on my stomach the other day and said she could tell I had started showing. I think it's still not so obvious unless I'm wearing a more fitted top, which I don't really wear anyway. Sorry you had to deal with the gossipy co-workers. Hopefully they'll behave like grownups when you decide to share your news with the rest of them. What color are you painting the nursery? We haven't started any prep work yet until we find out the gender next week. I guess we could go ahead and get started but I think DH is putting off the inevitible. Are you ordering from the Sarah's House link on the HGTV website or just buying similar furniture and decor?

hey wonder, i'm going to paint the same colors as sarah's house nursery, paint the crib the matching blue, and just do similar things. i'll get some things from ikea like she did, and likely get the same curtains, but i'll keep my options open. i like the general idea, but i'm not going for an exact match.

i LOVE the alphabet letters she had, but they are too difficult to duplicate. i will add the plate rail like she had, but sit these beautfiful 'animal parade' alphabet cards i found on it. they'll do nicely.

i think doing the nursery will be very good for my morale when i'm worried about something going wrong.

take care karen

NY - I feel for you not wanting to POAS. You have put so much time, energy, emotion as well as money into trying to get PG, I think I would be scared to death to POAS if I were in your shoes.

Kas and NY - How did you guys make it through taking tons of pills everyday. This is driving me insane. i am taking

Antibotic 3 times a day
Vitamin b complex
prenatal vitamin
Pyrcenol (sp) - 2 capsuls
baby asprin
75u menopure
150u follistim
I feel like I am constantly drugging myself up. It is driving me crazy and I have only been doing it for 1 day. I am going to do whatever it takes so I will make it through the next 2 weeks but it just isn't fun.

Karen - Glad to see you have your nursery all figured out. That must be so much fun. I have already figured I am doing frogs for my nursery. Last summer I made my little brother paint my spare bedroom a light green color so now that is one less thing I will have to do later on. Hope you enjoy your time alone. Good luck on telling your co-workers. I think after you get that done you will have less stress.

Wonderence - So the non-alcholic beer wasn't too bad. I think i am going to have to find a kind of non-alcholic beer for me. DH and I really do spend alot of times going out drinking so when I get PG I am going to have to find something that I like without alcohol. I don't know how my body is going to react to the 150u follistim and 75u menopure. I am hoping it still works out Ok but kind of worried that it isn't enough. Last time I was on 225u follistim and 75u menopure and only stimmed for 7 days. My e2 levels were pretty high after 4 days of stims. So this is why my RE dropped my dosage down. I figure if I am not responding good enough then they will just increase my dosage so I am not going to stress out, just yet.

I go in for my next appointment on Tuesday. Will keep you all updated.

Chris

I sympathise.. it is not fun.. some days i had 5 shots... so it sounds like it isnt so bad.. it sounds like you dose of follistim isnt bad i was on 750 iu per day

What i found was helpful with the pills is getting one of those 7 day containers so that i could dose them out a week at a time and then take them all together..(i might add royal jelly and bee pollen if i were you)

So i called the pharmacy and ordered an HPT i just want to know ..but we will see whether or not i useit when i gets here..

My acupuncturist said on friday he thinks the outlook is very good and he usually doesnt give an opinion.. last time he said he was worried that pg wasnt strong enough and he was right.. amazing what they can tell from your pulse.. he also thiks its twins.. which i think will freak DH out..

one interesting thin.. i allowed myself a glass of wine (re and ob said its ok ) and it tasted terrible to me.. i opened another bottle to see if it was bad.. same thing,,, so....

Hey NY!!!

I have been following you since you asked the questions about Dr. Toth (I went to him 2 years before I got pregnant). Well, this time I think you're there... I truly believe your pregnant!!! I am so excited to hear about your BETA results tomorrow... I had twins and I am hoping it is twins for you! It is SO wonderful that they have each other! Also, I have read many times that pulse rate can be read and it can indicate pregnancy (never heard that it can tell you about twins but I still hope that you have them :-)).

I'll be looking out for your post tomorrow!

God Bless!

Well... that just means that it may not be twins... never give up hope! You had an excellent cycle! It took me twelve years so I know how painful and difficult it is... Did you do a first morning pee with a sensitive test? My lines were really faint the day before my test and I used and extra sensitive test. Just please - don't give up hope! We are all here to support you no matter what.

oh, NY, yes, it could just be a negative, BUT also, this could be an example of why we shouldn't POAS...it's too early, urine is NOT a solid indicator this early, there are too many variables.

hang in there for your bloodwork. i can't remember who, but on this thread there have been women who POAS and got negative, but WERE PG.

big hug to you, i'm not giving up yet.. i'm going with your AP.

lots of love, karen

NY I still think your symptoms are good and you should remain positive... reading between the lines, i think you have been very optimistic about the outcome here and maybe there's a reason for that... I will be waiting to hear your results tomorrow, and as for those pee sticks, dont get me started. I think they are horrible - ignore it

Chris I also have a little pill organiser and rattle when i walk

NY, I'm with the other girls on this one. I thought I remembered several others who had POAS and gotten negatives only to get a BFP. I am saying an extra prayer tonight for you and will be waiting on pins and needles until you go for your test tomorrow. Hugs to you.
