tkat: Congratulations!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!! Continue to keep us posted on how you are doing. You give us all hope!!!

molly & waiting: How exciting!! Take it easy today and let those embies snuggle in!! I will be praying for you both!!

Robin: Sorry to hear about your delay. Keep your PMA up. Your time is coming!!

Sorry my posts have been so short. But with all the time I am missing from work and having my pocketbook stolen last week has left me very little time to do much personals, but please know that I think of you guys often!!

Not much more to update on me, I went back to the Dr. today and we are still on for my trigger shot tonight at 9:15pm and ER at 7:45am on Wednesday. My boobs hurt and my tummy is uncomfortable and I have a short fuse, but other than that I am GREAT!! LOL

It sounds like your transfer went well to have fun. We only transferred two and the doctor would not consider a number 3. He had good reason though since one embie was an 8 cell grade A, and the other was an 8 cell grade A B.
Now I am just resting and praying for a miracle.

You are all so great! I appreciate all your encouragement and excitement!!

Molly23 – Thanks for the warm wishes. How did your ET go? Best of luck to you during the 2WW! I remember reading a lot of books to make it go by faster. To answer your question, I had a 5 day ET.

CT_Michele – I hope you get your twins! I agree that 3 is the perfect size family too. I bet your daughter would just love that!

kcraven – Wow your ER is this week…that’s great! Your short fuse comment made me laugh. Hang in there! This will all be worthwhile! Sorry your pocketbook was stolen! How awful and what a pain in the a$$ for you to have to deal with. I hope you get everything straightened out soon.

Lady_J – We really are excited. My DH’s eyes were watering in the ultrasound room this morning BEFORE we even had the ultrasound! Then of course after it showed twins he was beside himself and started kissing and hugging me while the u/s was still going on. Needless to say he couldn’t control his excitement!! I am sure this will be your cycle. You definitely deserve it! Putting 3 back sounds like a great plan. Will you put back 3 even if it’s a 5 day ET? I still say go for it. How many did you put back last time?

Waiting for 4 – Sounds like you put back some great embies! I hope this 2WW goes by fast for you. You had a successful implantation before so I’m sure you will again…except you’ll have a much better outcome and will be holding your bundle(s) of joy in no time!

shelleyj5 – You’re triggering tonight too…how exciting!! This board is in its prime right now. There’s just so much going on. How many are you planning on putting back? Best of luck to you!

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day!

Tkat, congrats on twins! this is so exciting! I'm happy for you.

molly and waiting, I'm so glad that you had your ET and I'm sending truckloads of sticky baby dust your way!

I have my baseline scan on Wednesday morning, and I'm afraid that they will make me postpone. I just want to get on with this already.

Molly & waiting... Comgrats on being officially PUPO.... I am glad the tranfers went well. Can't wait till u get your BFPs. Now just relax and take it easy for the next couple of weeks. good Luck.

Tkat.... How sweet of your dh. As for myself, we did a 3dt and tranferred 2. They changed my protocol a lilttle from last time... instead of the estrogen patches now they have me on estrogen injections. They said my estrogen was low towards the end so that may explain my BFN. This time I will deffenitly put 3 if they let me. Congrats again.

Check back in later.

to_have_fun08 – I have been doing some reading on the HPT’s as well and I think I will switch to a different brand tonight…just to make sure! I’m really still praying it’s not any leftover HCG, and it’s new HCG!

kate65 – I know how you feel! I just started my 2nd week, have BETA on Friday! My RE had me come in with a full bladder for ET and there was all kinds of delays that day. They let me “go just a little” 3 different times because I thought I was going to die. Then, as he’s transferring I asked if me going to the bathroom right after was a good idea. He laughed and said I’d be fine. He gave me the analogy of putting a drop of water between two sponges, made much more sense to me! That hasn’t stopped me from worrying about every little thing I do! And he did tell me that a discharge is normal, that it’s the fluid the embies were in. As for advice, I’ve taken it easy but I haven’t done a whole lot different. The only thing I’ve changed is drinking a ton more water than I normally do and I cut out all caffeine. I’ve also tried to cut out red meat, but I’m from Texas…I’m a beef girl!

prayin4BFP – 12 embies, WOOHOO is right! I’m sorry you’re so sick…I hate vomit! Have you talked to your RE yet? Feeling well enough for ET or do you have to wait?

Rosario – Sounds like you’re almost there…woohoo!

Kcraven – You’re numbers look really good. My sizes were all over the place, yours seem so close! That sucks about your pocketbook…a$$hole$!

BarbD – Good luck today! Let us know how it goes…

Lady_J – No Lupron headaches…you lucky dog! I am praying we are all correct and that I’m not getting a false positive. I have only told my husband and two other people that I got the double line, and they’re sworn to secrecy until I get my BETA results. I wish Friday would get here already!

Waiting and Molly23– You’re officially in the 2WW with me! And I totally agree with Lady J, we got pictures and it’s completely awesome. I’ve got it on my kitchen bulletin board and each time I look, I think “WOW”!

TKat – Twins…you’re so lucky!!!! I’m secretly hoping I get twins too because this is our one shot at a family. One would be great, but two would be perfect!

As for me, I was too scared to POAS this morning, but of course, couldn't hold out. I just POAS and it's still a positive; I still don't believe! I have 3 more tests, one for each day until Friday...lol! I'm still having pains in my stomach and I don't feel the best. My stomach is back to being bloated...I so hope AF is not on her way! I read one website yesterday that said that 10,000 of HCG could take 2 weeks to leave your system, so I'm scared now that those BFP's were still synthetic HCG. Each time I see that BFP, I smile, but then I worry that's it's not really true. I'm going crazy in short! DH hasn't come out and said he doesn't believe it, but he wants to wait until the BETA. He's my killjoy at this time...AARRGGGHH! So what is a good BETA number? I have to remember to ask my RE, they never have given me any numbers of levels through this whole process. I feel so uninformed!

I had my ER today and it was the one thing I was a little concerned with but it wasn't bad at all. They retreived 9 eggs and will call me in the morning to let me know how they fertilized. My RE does a 3 day transfer. They feel that the uterus is the preferred invironment for the embies and they do better the sooner they can get them in there, WHich makes a lot of sense to me.

I am frustrated bc I didn't want to take the PIO shots so the nurse ordered the suppositories and now she said that I have to take the shots anyway....... I paid almost $400 for those suppositories and now I can't use them!! I am very unhappy. Hopefully I can take them later on. I am soooooo dreading the shots.

The things we have to do to have a baby. What happened to just having sex????

Isn't it aggravating when some of these women get prego just by looking at a man? And then here we are everyday sticking needles in our bellies or our butts, spreading our legs every other day for someone to get in there and poke and prod around.

Well girls just over look me........... I don't know what in the world has come over me this evening! I should be thankful that I have come this far and all is going well. I am thankful - to be honost with you just a few months ago I could not have imagined I would be here now doing all of this. I think it's put me in a bad mood knowing I have to take more shots -

DAG GONE IT!!!!!

Can you tell I don't like them. My husband is going out of town in 2 weeks and what in the world am I going to do then? I can't give myself that shot - Can I?

Oh geesh, I better get off here. Thanks for listening to me whine.
"Would you like some cheese with that whine??"LOL

Girls I need some encouragement here............just please tell me those shots aren't so bad. :?

Theresa - You crack me up! Don't worry about ranting on here, that's what we're for and we all have our moments! As for the shots, I promise they are not that bad. My RE only let's his patients do the shots the first two weeks. Then, we're given a preference. I have a strong aversion to sticking myself, however, I have an even stronger aversion to drippy stuff down there! YUCK, talk about killin' the mood! LOL I've been told some different things about the shot to make it easier. As for when your DH is away, I'm in the same boat. My DH is a paramedic, needless to say he's comfortable with a needle. However, that means he's away for 48 hrs at a time  Luckily, I have a sister that's a nurse that's just up the road that gives it to me! One thing that I think makes my shot not so bad is that DH brought me home some 25 gauge needle. If your RE will give you some of those, they're cake! I seriously don't feel that one anymore than I felt the insulin needles! I sit on a heating pad first and usually hold the oil and sit on the heating pad after, and that's it! Easy, I promise!

Did your nurse draw your circles? My nurse did, but I wonder if they're too high. They're actually above my booty, in the love handle area so I don't get the painful sitting that some girls complain of. Good luck!

Make sure you are drinking your fluids!

mandeekins- Thanks for the encouragement. I really needed it. I feel better already.

I have 22 gauge needles I think. Where would I get the 25? Can I buy them at a pharmacy or a medical supply place? I am all for smaller needles!

No my nurse didn't draw circles she gave me an instruction sheet with a drawing on it and it looks pretty high.

tburks: Girl you crack me up!! Sorry you will not be able to use your suppositories!

mandeekins: Thanks. I'm starting to get nervous!! I look forward to hearing you BFP for sure. I'm sure that is the case!!

shellyj5: Cool!! I hope everything goes well with you on Wednesday!!! Keep me udated. It's 9pm ET, I'm not sure where you live but maybe you have just taken your trigger. I'm getting ready to take mine. i have not read up on the side effects of the medicine. I hope it is not bad!! RE says it should be a 3 day transfer!! I hope so! What about you? How many are you planning on putting back? I'm still undecided. RE wants to put back 2 but I really do not think I can handle twins ( I have 2 children already). They say if I have one embie that is excellent grade then we may just try one this time since this is my first cycle, but I'm torn!! I'm very wishy washy! I wish the best!!
