Well, my husband "acquired" them from the college, he teaches for the paramedic program  But, when I was first looking for smaller, I called the pharmacy that I'd been dealing with and she said they had them. I'm going to call this week and see if I can trade the 22's I have unopened for the 23's. Give 'em a call...it's worth it! :D

I sped up to my office building, ran all the way to my desk and there it was! whew! however, then it sank in that i just had my transfer 6 hours before and i had run all the way in. Did i just screw up everything? I dont know why they say not to run when doing this process but I cant stop thinking about it. PLEASE HELP

mandeekins- So you are still doing the pregnancy test? How soon after your transfer did you start taking them? I hope your beta goes well on Friday, and I will keep my fingers crossed for you. My beta is going to be on Friday the 13th. I am not liking that date much, but what can you do?

Tburks it is okay to vent. I bet you are ready for your transfer, and I hope it goes well for you.

BTW- what does POAS mean? I have been trying to figure it out, but I can't.

Waiting... hi hun, As for your situation. TG that your ring was still there. As for the running. I'm sure you will be ok. They tell us no running because of the strain you would put on your over sized ovaries. You don't want to rip them out of their skin is that makes sense. As for your embies, I am sure they will be just fine just don't run anymore. Please don't run anymore, also because you don't want to give yourself a bad fall. The embies havnt implanted yet, I think you have to be more cautious when they stick so that they don't unstick and you can bleed from your uterus. But just to be safe, talk to your RE.

I also wanted to know, has anyone ever heard of anyone tranferring 1 embie on day 3 and another on day 5? Would it be possible?
I am 32 yrs / DH is 34

To Have fun

I missed your post, but don't run anymore. I am sure everything is okay just take it easy for the next week or so. I lifted a chair tonight and after I did it I remembered I am not suppose to be lifting anything. So I think everyone makes an error at some point.

Lady_J - During my first IVF cycle we did a 3 day ET because they were concerned my embies wouldn't make it to day 5. So I asked my RE if they could put more in on day 5 if we ended up having some that made it that far and she said NO. They don't like to go back into the uterus because of the chance of hitting one of the embies they already put back in. It makes sense but it would be really cool if they could do it!

I would this morning with a cold. What a bummer. I should have stayed home.

Hope everyone has a great day!

waiting - Like Lady J said, I believe you are fine, just don't do any running again. Congrats on your transfer. Glad to see that you found your ring.

Rosario - Yey, you are getting closer. I wouldn't worry too much about the Centrotide, my last cycle they added in Ganirelix which I believe is the same thing and I only took that for 2 days. They are monitoring your E2 levels so I am sure if they get too high they will add in the Centrotide.

Molly - POAS - Pee on a stick.

shellyj5 - Good luck at ER.

kcraven - I would agree if I were in your shoes I think I would only put back 1 since you already have 2 children. i have seen lots of gals only put back 1 and get a BFP. Good luck.

mandeekins - When my fist IVF cycle was converted to IUI I was given the choice of PIO or suppositories. I chose PIO because I only had to worry about it once a day and I didn't want all the yucky stuff down there. It would defiantly kill the mood.

tburks - Congrats on the 9 eggs. Why can't you take suppositories. Lots of women do. I would complain to the RE since you have already spent the money on the suppositories. Funny you talked about spreading your legs and all the stuff we have to go through. I had my HSG last Friday. The clinic I go to is a teaching hospital so the Re asked if it was OK to have a student in the room. I was like what the heck, everyone else has seen down there. What is one more person. Also, I give myself all my shots including PIO. It is kind of hard with the PIO but it is doable. The needle with the PIO looks like it would be really bad but I think it is just like the smaller needles. The first part kind of hurts when it penetrates the skin but other then that you can't feel it. Just ice the area before you do the shot. Then rub afterwards.

BarbD - How did your FET go? How many did you transfer?

TKAT - CONGRATS on your TWINS. I am so hoping for twins. I am tired of doing all this crap and really don't want to do it anymore to have a second child. Though I will take whatever I can get.

aspotofTea - Good luck at your baseline tomorrow. Then you get to start all the needles. YEAH!!!!

I go in for b/w and u/s in a couple of hours. Hoping to some follies growing but not too big yet. I will post more later.

Thanks for the encouraging words girls. I am just stressed to the brink of a mental breakdown bc of this IVF crap, work and attempting to close on a house that I don't feel will ever be up to my standards...

Oh well, my beta is set for Feb 17 (they require 15dp3dt) so I guess I am officially in the 2+WW. I asked about me running yesterday and the nurse sounded worried/mad but told me there was probably nothing wrong since I didn't get overheated. Definitely didn't help relieve my stress about it at all, though- here I am, 1dp3dt and I feel like I have already lost this cycle. It sucks hard core

Waiting for 4- I don't think you lost this cycle and as your nurse said as long as you didn't get over heated you are fine. Just take it easy from now on. Closing on a house is super tough, and having IVF on top of it I am sure is not easy.

They gave me my beta day for 02/13, and it seems so long away. When can you start taking HPT? The doctor seemed super positive, since both of my embies were 8 cells. He told my hubby that their is a 70% chance of success, but we shall see. These next two weeks are going to be hell.

waiting for 4 – You didn’t screw your cycle up!! Please relax… I asked my RE why they say not to exercise (run, aerobics, etc), lift heavy things, no sex, etc after ET and she said that its mainly for the peace of mind of the patients. If the cycle is unsuccessful they do not want people saying “I knew I shouldn’t have gone for that run” or “I knew we shouldn’t have had sex”. So they take the safe route and totally restrict us. That’s honestly what I was told. Hope that helps. You are fine! Those little embies have no inertia right now at all because they have no weight to them. They are doing just perfect in you right now. You caused them no harm whatsoever. Two days after my ET we moved into our house and I was unpacking boxes and moving things like mad. I was pissed at myself for working too hard for a few days and thought I ruined my cycle but obviously things have worked out so far! Hang in there!

waiting for 4 - Just think of all the gals that get PG the old fashion way that run everyday. Their embies still implant. Don't worry, you will be fine. Please don't stress over this. Have fun moving. I hate packing and moving. It sucks and I have only done it once.

Man... I need to get over myself. Ya'll are SO right! there is nothing I can do to change how this is going to work. I just need to stop letting my nurse control how I feel and keep my PMA high in the sky. Once those little buggers are in there, there is virtually nothing I can do to affect their progress.

I hate that I have to wait until the 17th to test but the nurse said the 13th was too early to get the levels they would be looking for. I guess it lets them get a better idea of whether the baby is healthy at that stage, who knows. I am totally jealous of you Molly- I definitely begged to come in that Friday bc I have it off but nooooo- I have to miss even more work and look like the biggest slacker in the world. :)

Sorry about the freak out ladies- I will try to keep it under wraps from now on (but I'm not promising anything!)
