Well I just got my update. Out of 9 eggs 7 where mature and fertilized!!!
So....... I guess I am waiting till tomorrow to see how they are dividing. DH was really excited when I called and told him. I feel like my #'s just keep going down. :( As long as we have one or two that make it to the end is what matters tho.

mandeekins - I called the pharmacy this morning that my PIO shots came from and asked if they could send me some 25 guage needles and they are in the mail. Said I would get them Thurs. so I only have to do 1 shot with the 22.

to_have_fun08- I can remember years ago when I first started going to the gyn I was so embarrassed  Now there's no modesty. How in the world do you give yourself the PIO shot? My nurse said that it was the RE's choice that I take the shots so that's what I have to do. If they are just like the one's in the belly I'll be fine. My HCG shot was with a 25 guage needle and it was fine. (it wasn't in the muscle tho)

waiting for 4 IVF alone is stressful. Maybe it's a good thing your are closing on your house. It might keep your mind on something else than the 2WW. Just try not to get to stressed out about it. Why do you feel that the house won't be up to your standards? Maybe you should wait and find one that will. That's a big purchase you want to be happy there.

Molly23 - 8 cell is GREAT!! I think you have a baby or 2 in your future......... or should I say in your belly!!

Natashamom - WOOHOO…CONGRATULATIONS!!! :!: :!: :!:

waiting for 4 – Way to go girl…just let it be! I think the stress will cause more problems than the running did. Do whatever you can to de-stress yourself and get your mind off of it. I know how hard that is…I’m the one POAS daily  remember? LOL I’m going to recommend you sneak away with hubbie or some girlfriends to see “New In Town” with Renee Zellwegger and Harry Connick Jr. I went with my mom this last weekend because I couldn’t stand sitting around thinking about it anymore…I LOVED it! It’s hilarious! Some comic relief at this point is just what you need!

Lady_J – I wondered that myself when I had two embies doing really well. But, it’s a no I guess…I was too chicken to ask!

Rosario – It’s nice to see you so excited! PMA all over the place! I was so nervous before trigger I couldn’t get excited!

TKat – Sucks to be sick…I hate it! That’s the only part of a pregnancy that I’ve been dreading! How’d your appt go today? Did you get to hear two little HB’s? AWWWWW!!

tburks – Thank goodness for smaller needles! It will take a bit longer to draw up with the smaller needles, but it works just fine. 7 is a good number; I only ended up with 6!

to_have_fun08 – Grow follies, grow!

Molly23 – I didn’t start HPT’s until 10 days after trigger. You go see the movie too!

As for me, I had a dream last night that the dr wouldn’t tell me my BETA number, just that I was pg. So, when he left the room I was going through papers to find it and it was 122. DH makes fun of my dreams all the time! We’ll see how Friday goes! Oh how I hope it’s a sign! I POAS this am again, different brand this time, and it’s still there! DH is starting to come around to the fact that I may just be prego after all!

I played hookie from work today to clean house, I have bunco tonight! I wish I already had my BETA, everyone's going to ask how it's going and I have to bite my tongue each time! I want to tell them about the HPT's SO BAD, but afraid I'll jinx it! I'll check in with ya'll later!

BABY DUST TO ALL :!: :!: :!: :!:

Hey everyone;
Sorry in advance for my dismal post...
RE called this morning and only 4 of my embryos are hanging on...4 out of 8...SIGH. He said my egg quality is poor so thats why out of the 18 eggs they got at ER only 4 so far have a small chance.
I think I am feeling like I am done. I know many of you have done this so much longer than I but I am so depressed and disillusioned. When we started on this journey I thought after 1 cycle we would be pregnant which was wrong on my part but still. Now with the OHSS they cant do ET which would have been scheduled for this Thursday. The only other option we have to freeze everything (they are holding the last embryos til tomorrow so maybe there will be a turnaround for them) and look to do a FET sometime in April.
I know I have alot of great things on the horizon for us...our trip to Cancun at then end of this month...moving into our new house. I guess i just thought they would happen with me being pregnant.
I am taking a break from the boards for a bit and I will be back if DH and I decide to do FET. RE says he isnt sure if this last round will survive the freezing process so we may have nothing left after PGD the 4 frozen ones we have already. If thats the case we will just close the book on this chapter in our lives and try to move on.
Thanks as always for everyones support. It made this journey alot easier. :(

Hello Ladies.... Happy Tuesday!!! 8) Well, I am just here falling asleep at my desk. I have been so tired these last few days. I guess I should be going to bed a little earlier at night. I am just exhausted. Another thing I noticed and remember from the last. I have no headaches from taking Lupron... but I have noticed that my left legtends to hurt around my hip/knee area. And it is the same leg. Last cycle I couldn't even bend my knee with no support, this cycle so far, it just hurts when I walk. I did wake up Naseaus this morning and I caould feel a cold coming on... I dont want a cold :( . I have 3 BCPs left Yipee!!!! Tonight, tomorrow and Thursday...Yipee!!!! ANd then we wait for AF.

mandeekins... Defo a BFP by now. HCG from trigger should completely be out of system by now. Did u try a CBD to get the actual words 1-2 weeks PG :P That would be nice. I am going to remember 122, wouldnt it be crazy if your beta is 122 on Friday. Weird!!

Tburks.,... 7 eggs, that is great. I only had 2 last cycle so 7 is great. Keep us posted.

natashamom... Congrats on your BFP!!!

Waiting... Hopefully we put your mind at ease. ANd it is true, look at all the women that do crzy things before they know they even r pg.. When I was PG with my daughter... I think back and remember the things that happened before I found out I was PG.. I helped my DH carry abig heavy dresser from 1st floor to basement, I drank me a whole bottle of tequila  , I was at the store standing looking at toys and all of a sudden I feel on my butt and hard too. Then I find out I was PG and after that I fell down the stairs, twice  hmmm, i slipped in the shower, shall I keep going? You get my point. I guess if it is meant to be then it will be... just try to be more careful from this point on. Just tell your embies u r sory and it wont happen again... :? Good Luck.

Molly... Feb. 13th.... that's like 1 week away. U lucky girl. I hope and pray u will get your BFP. ANd I hope both stick  I will keep my fingers crossed.

Chris... how was your scan? How many follies do they see... tell us tell us.

Tkat... Sorry u r feeling sick. U should of stayed home in your warm bed. As for the embies, I am glad to know I wasn't the only one thinking about it. Thanks for the info.

Rosario... u r almost there girl. When do they think ER for you?

Well, girl. I am hungry so I am going to go get me soime lunch. I'll check back in later.

Lady J- You crack me up! Thats definitely what I need to keep in mind. My nurse just likes to worry I think, she used to get pissy with me when I tried to schedule my first IVF around football- like IVF was my end all/be all. I am going to hang out for the next few weeks though. I already told DH he gets personal attention with the weight trainer at the gym while I either hang out at home or slowly do some easy cardio. Thats what I did last time and I can't ignore the fact that I did get pregnant then. Its just hard because I know I only have 4 shots at this and each one that goes by without a baby means I am more and more likely to need to adopt. I would love to adopt a baby, dont get me wrong, but I want to have one grow inside me and have my eyes and DH's red hair... I just get so worked up thinking about missing out on that stuff that I can't think straight...

No worries though! I am full of PMA for now and Feb 17 couldnt get here quick enough! :!: :!: :D

natashamom - CONGRATS ON YOUR BFP!!!!!

Went to the RE today. My E2 level is 172, I have 3 follies under 10, a 12, a 11, and 14. I was hoping for some more. I am not going to stress about this cycle so I am not so worried about the follies but RE wants me back tomorrow because then they might add in the Ganirelix. WTF!!! Why add that in so early, it will then just slow down my progress. I just don't know what they are thinking sometimes. I know I have to have Ganirelix at some point when my E2 levels get higher. Last time they didn't add in the Ganirelix till my E2 level was in the 800. I just don't understand. Oh well like I said, I am not going to stress. We will just see what happens.

Tkat: We're planning on putting back 2...hope we get the same good news you got!!!

Kcraven: I live in KC (so CST), so I guess you did your trigger an hour before me. How did it go? I had to give mine myself...DH was working out. I'm a nurse, but it's still really hard to poke myself with a needle! I don't think we should be having any side effects. I've triggered a few other times with past IUIs & have never had any. Plus, I don't think I could handle any more side effects! I feel/look about 4 months pregnant...SO BLOATED! I wanted DH to take a picture of my belly now & compare it to when I'm actually pregnant :) My RE said it will only get worse after ER. I can't believe that! We'll see. We are planning on puting back 2 embies on day 5. We have to do genetic testing on the embies because of my history of 5 miscarriages. We don't have any kids yet and would be thrilled with twins! Plus this is our first and last IVF cycle. We really can't afford to do another. Well, I'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning! It's still hard to believe it's tomorrow morning!! Good luck and keep me posted!

NatashaMom- Yay on your big fat preggers. I am really happy for you.

Tburks- Glad you have 7 eggs that are mature and fertilized. Do you know if you will have a 3 or 5 day transfer.

Mandeekins- Your dreams sound a lot like mine. When do you have your Beta test?

Lady J- Glad to hear you are almost done with BCP and you will get AF soon. Hope you start stimming soon.

Waiting for 4- Way to stay positive today, and how are you feeling. I am back at work and anxiously waiting for the 13th.

Barb- It sounds like you and waiting and I all transferred on the same day, but we all have different beta dates. How weird.

to_have_fun08- Don’t worry I had a low follie count in the beginning and they starting me on ganirelex early too. Before you know it you will be popping with follies.

As for me I know a 8 cell embie is good, but maybe my doctor tells everyone after they do the transfer they have a great chance of getting pregnant. Do all RE’s say this no matter how many cells they are, or is 8 a really good number.

Molly- 8 is a great number. its exactly where the little guys should be on day 3. and yes- I am anxiously awaiting my beta while stuck at work too. Luckily next week will be a quick one with closing on Monday, having the place painted Tues and Wed and moving in Friday! So much to do! But I definitely cannot wait to get out of my MIL's house. I love the woman but damn- a girl needs her space!

On a side note, I was planning on ordering some amazing Black and White cookies from Crumbs in New York but they dont deliver!? Sucks but I will just have to find my own recipe and make them. That way, if they don't taste exactly the same, it'll be ok instead of getting mad at some half-a** bakery that might actually ship to TX. :D

This morning I felt sick thinking about the idea of having 3 babies... I feel so bad about it but I just don't know what we would do with 3 of them!? I know we would adjust and would love all of them from the start but its darn scary for sure. I just hope I get at least one from this round. I am having some major cramping... Anyone else feeling the same?

Hiya Ladies~

Rosario~What super news about all those follies!! congrats. I am glad you are so excited. Keep us posted.

Prayin4BFP~Im so sad to hear about your dwindling embryos. But dont give up yet. I know you've heard this before--but truly all you need is one strong embryo. Keep the faith, Girl.

NatashasMom~Conrats on your BFP!!!! What super news! Are you the same Natasha from the over 40 board? I hope so!!

Tburks~7 out of 9 is a a terrific fertilization rate! congrats. That is 77% which beats the odds! Good goin.

Chris~3 follies is a good start. It is early yet and I betcha you will get tons more by retrieval time!! Don't stress, Girl--you are doing great.

I started my injections this morning--Im on a microdose flare protocal for low responders. I do just Buserelin for two days and then add in the Puregon injections. It's funny--by the time IVF 3 rolls around you are no longer scared of needles and shooting yourself up (I was so scared way back in the beginning!) You are more scared of getting another negative outcome. I am really hoping 3 times is the charm for me. Trying to stay positive and visualize a healthy baby.
