Missmolly - that is fantastic news...congratulations! I went through Sydney IVF also. Was this cycle another full cycle, or FET? What dr do you see there? I see Dr Gee, she is great, and DH and I both think she comes across as a real genius!

Missmolly has little Holly...how sweet! I love it! How is the 15 months stage going?

Bella.

Bella - we did a full cycle & we saw Mark Livingstone (again). The man is brilliant!!!!!

I am enjoying the 15 month stage, except Holly is not walking yet. She is not too far off, but not there yet. I am finding this a little frustrating & want her to get to the next stage!

Take care

Hey Ladies,

Bella, good luck with FET! 3rd Feb, that's like next week buddy! I could not recall whether you were SIVF or IVF-OZ but now I know. I don't blame you for being SNAPPY, you are on dreaded 2WW, I am sure your DH remebers all that and know that it is all worth it - with your little Miss Lucy to prove it.
My endo pain? I live with it, I deal with it, I must be strong about it. I do take more than enough pain killers and do all sorts to myself when the pain comes ie, hot patches on my tummy and back, hot water bottle, lots of choclates and green tea, force back massage on my hubby, etc etc. And if all this doesn't work - I let IT take over. HATE MY ENDO  .
Congrats BTW on geting your Masters, that is fantastic. I am actually starting from bottom of the heap (as I have no experience) at Certificate level and hopefully go onto Diploma, studying Early Childhood Studies. So this semester is Certificate for Childcare. Along with the obvious reason I decided that I needed to get out of dog-eat-dog corporate world (and what a good timing it turned out to be!) and do something different.

Cla, G'Day!! I am sending you tons of Aussie sunshine on your way matey, I know it's awfully cold on your side of the planet right now, keep warm and take care. And I hope you can visit us more often too :).

missmolly, guess what! I got a referral to see M.L from the GP yesterday. Haven't made an appointment to see him yet - will let you know when it's done. Thanks for your suggestion, much appreciated xxx.

I went to get my student ID(!!) today and found out there is 3wks holiday in b/w Easter and Anzac Day in April.... so if my body cycle fits (and endo pain under control) we might try FET back in MIVF at that time....

Cheers, Tigs xxx

Hi ladies....I just wanted to share my news.....BFP!!!!

I had the test today, and all is good. Beta is over 400 (seems high!?).
I nearly had a heart attack when the clinic nurse called me - she asked whether I'd taken my progesterone pessary this morning, and I said that I ran out of them last night, and she said - "it is absolutely vital in maintaining your pregnancy to keep taking those pessaries!" Needless to say, I raced to the pharmacy, bought some more, and came home and took them!

7 week scan is on the 24th Feb, so that's my next milestone. Thanks for all your support!

Hi ladies,
Em, do glad you popped the aussie / kiwi thread back to where it belongs. I do lurk around occassionally and was shicked last week to see we had been demoted. Anyway, thanks for taking the initiative.
I am wondering how the lovely Miss Tiger is going? Where are you my love? Am I correct that you are studying again? Where are you up to with your IVF journey?
All good here, Annie and Eleanor are growing up quickly, and our new son is due in three and a half weeks time. The c-section is booked for the 5th of May, 9:30, and we've decided that we'll probably name him Archie Richard (Richard was John's dads name, he died in December of last year). I think he'll be a whopper, but then again maybe I'm just huge because I have no abdominal musculature tone left after the girls (or it could be the excessive amounts of easter eggs that I've been eating??). My obs did a scan on Monday, and at one day under 35 weeks he was weighing 2.95kg. I don't know how accurate these scans are (Em, maybe you know?), but seems like he will be at least nine pounds. Quite glad I don't have to push the little tyke out to be honest.
Anyway, take care all.
Belinda

Bel, while ultrasound measurements are reasonably accurate, they are operator dependant so I would take it as a guide but not gospel.

Can't believe number 3 is almost here?

Hi ladies,
Just wanted to post to say that our precious son Archie Richard arrived safely on Tuesday the 5th of May. He is a whopping 4 and a half kilos and 56cm with the most beautiful blue eyes and a head of dark hair. He is a love, and is going to have to be a bit of a tough cookie to cope with all of the "loving" that his big sisters are giving him..
