Hey girls~ Just bumping us up!!

Meg- did you win at the casinos? I haven't been to one in a long time, sounds like fun! I'm holding out for Vegas one day...

Nickster- glad to hear the babies are doing great. Hope you are feeling ok and get plenty of rest. I always found the nausea would catch up to me if I was run down.

Girls the "grooming down there" conversation had me rolling! I plan on keeping it simple until my 36 week when I get a check up. Then I'll go in and really spruce up.

I have to go to a maternal fetal specialist monday for an ultrasound and consult. Baby boy has a spot on his heart that they need to take a closer look at. They are hoping it goes away by birth, or it could cause complications. So, say a little prayer for us. The odds are in our court, but it is still scary to think of the possibilities. Never a dull moment with these kiddos!!

I have his bedding all picked out I just have to get it. It is on pottery barn kids.com The transportation bedding.

Gotta run I have wet hair to dry b/f miss thang wakes up!

Jenn~ I am saying prayers and I'm sure Monday can't come soon enough. I think everything is going to be just fine with your little man! I'm thinking of you.

Well we had a little scare this morning as well. Thank God, last night when I was at work me and a co-worker did an ultrasound and saw both babies moving and both heartbeats. This morning I got up and went to the bathroom and there was bright red blood. It wasn't too much but it scared the crap out of me. Then I started cramping, but I think that was mainly because I was so stressed. So we had another "official" ultrasound this morning and both of them still look beautiful. Both have grown appropriatly since last week and measure 10 weeks. Their heartbeats were pretty much the same as last week. She didn't see any sign of bleeding inside but she said one of the placentas is lying low. And, it just so happens the one that has that, the baby is moving in there like crazy. So I don't know if this child kicked it or what but thank God all is well.
I'm with Jenn.....never a dull moment!!!

Nickster- Thank you for the prayers and good thoughts! They actually rescheduled me to Thursday so I'll have to wait a little longer :( I am sorry you had a scare, but glad everything is ok. Take it easy!

Oh I just saw my Christmas ticker!! I'll have to take care of that tomorrow, I can't be out of season!

Hi girls!

Jenn - I will be praying for you. I am SURE everything will be fine. Can't any of us just have an easy pregnancy for God's sakes??? Geez! But don't worry - I am certain your little boy is going to be just perfect. I am so excited you are having a BOY - of course, I am a little biased now. :)

Nickster - Yep, you just had to share in the drama, huh? So typical of you!!! You are pregnant, damn it...and you want to make sure the show is about you. hee hee. You crack me up stealing scans at work. So typical of a sista!!!! I am so glad the babies are doing great!!!! I predict a boy and a girl. :)

I will type more later. Hello to all the other sistas!!! Are any of you on Facebook? I swear that thing is addicting!!!!

How is everyone?

Jenn~ Anxious to hear about how Thursday goes but I know everything will be fine, I just know it.

Tina~ You crack me up! Trust me...I would much rather be sitting back with no drama, but oh no, that's not the way I do things! No, really, things have been fine since that day, thank God. It's like one of my friends said "I guess we just got too comfortable!" I just can't wait to get to the 12 week mark so I can quit worrying a little bit.
Oh...and I'm not on Facebook but it's funny, you're about the 10th person that has told me how addicitng it is in the past few weeks. I need to check it out.

How is everyone else?

Hey girls~ Just testing out my ticker. Not the prettiest, but I was in a hurry!

I am nervous but ready for tomorrow. I really can't wait to get to see him again!

I think there is a plague over my house. We all got the diahrea virus after Christmas and now we all have horrible colds. I am so ready to be well and I feel bad that Anna can't really get any relief since there is nothing I can give her for cough and congestion.

Have a great day! I'll be back tomorrow afternoon hopefully- with good news!
Jenn

Hi guys. Hope you're all having a good February.

Tina--Oh man, I've got the facebook bug bad. Love it. I'll PM you my name and we can be friends:)

Nickster--Thank God for scans! I'm so excited for you. I'm betting a boy and girl, by the way. Any feelings on gender????

Jenn--I'm praying for you and the little guy. Love Pottery Barn (PB as we call it in our house!) Lucy had the Peter Cottontail and Friends nursery set from there.

Lucy is doing great. She is really talking now. She said her first sentence yesterday...Elmo pooped. Yep, we're so proud! Well, have to go get dinner ready! :)

Thanks for all the thoughts girls, I will let you know what is going on when we get home.

Meg~ Oh! A sentence!! And what a statement she made!! Anna babbles constantly all day at me and I can't understand a bit of it. I have a clip of it on the blog, it is sooo cute. I am waiting for her to just break out with "please pass the grey poupon" or something!!

Nickster~ I don't have a feeling yet for you as far as gender. How are your skin, hair ,and nails? Mine were great for Anna (I was beautiful if I do say so myself!!) and this boy has been sucking the moisture right out of me. I am soooo dry and itchy and my face is breaking out. I knew it was a boy. A girl would not do this to her mother!! So if you are slathering on the lotion I predict boys.

Gotta run, be back later!
Jenn

Meg~ Wow...I can't believe how grown up our Lucy is!!
I bet you are so proud of her first sentence! You'll have to write that in the baby book! She will surely want to know that when she gets older!

Jenn~ Funny you mentioned that. I have MAJOR acne and have this whole time. And as far as my skin, I usually have dry skin anyway but it does seems to be worse. And just in the last four or five days, my ankles and lower legs have been like out of control itching. I actually wake up in the middle of the night because they are itching so bad and scratch until I can't scratch anymore. It's really wierd that it's just there and I don't see a rash or anything but man it's annoying.
Good luck today. I've been praying for you and the little man. Let us know how things go.

Just checking on Jenn....

Hope everyone is doing well. I am getting ready to head up to Hartford for a couple of days for work...my first time being away from Noah. I am really sad about it. Great news though - my husband got a job! Yeah! He starts in a few weeks.

Noah has been waking up in the middle of the night lately and we have to give him a bottle to get him back to sleep. Tell me he will get over this soon! We was sleeping all night!!

Meg - So great to be able to see your pics on Facebook. Now, I get to see all of Lucy's pics! LOVE IT! Facebook is so addicting.

Nickster - how ya doing??

Jenn, please post. Hope everything is ok.

Tina--Lucy goes through phases where she sleeps all night for a week or so, and then will have a week or two of bad nights. I think a lot of times it's teething problems although I also think she's going through a growing spurt so that is messing with her. Hope Noah gets back to his old self soon. And yes, it's great to see you on Facebook. I so love it! My dh used to give me so much crap about it until he joined and now he"s even worse than me!

Jenn?????? Worried about you....

I'm ok!! I am sorry, our computer was tempermental last night and we had company come in so we were entertaining.

He is fine. The Dr. said it is an isolated thing, meaning everything else looked perfect so there is no need to worry. We can actually see the spot on the heart on the ultrasound, it is a white spot. She said it may go away by birth, but if it doesn't that is ok too. She didn't think there was a need to test further for Down's or anything else. Whew!

Then she looked at my cervix and started asking if I had any bleeding lately. Ahhh! The worry never ends. They discovered that the placenta was really close to the cervix and they are going to watch that. I will have another ultrasound in 5-6 weeks to check it out (darn :D ) unless I have bleeding before then. She said don't panic yet. This kid is giving me a run for it!

Tina- Noah may be in a growth spurt or just need more ounces in the day to get through the night. That could be why he is waking up hungry. Anna went through a couple weeks of that.

gotta run we still have company!

Have a great weekend!
Jenn

Jenn- So glad to hear that the dr. is not concerned with little's ones spot. I am sure they will keep a close eye on it until he is born, and then after your little one is born. have you guys come up with names for him yet? I am sure it puts you at ease at least a little. And on the good side, you will get extra ultrasounds:)
