well i went to the RE and he thinks I have a viral infection in my sinuses and i definitely have fluid build up on my right ovary. he wrote a note to my work saying he wanted me off until Tuesday. I wish I could take off that much time, but this at least lets me have an excuse to duck out early if I am not feeling good.

ok. i need a nap for sure and DH is going to get me some Tylonol 3 (tylonol with codine ) and I will be out for the night.

Thanks Jenn for updating schedule for me. That is such a big help. I try to keep it updated as much as possible but with work and housework, I kind of fall behind. Thank you again sweetie. Also, my headache seems to be going away now. But I am left with this bad allergy, I keep sneezing and I feel tickles in my nose. Its so irritating. So how are you feeling in your 2WW? Thanks again.

amfmbaby... Welcome to the board. You lucky girl, no downregging. I wish they could have done that with me. Well, I wish you lots of luck, and I hope you like it here with us and hopefully this will be your last ivf forum and next you will be joinging the PG forum. Good Luck.

waitingfor4... Awww, hun. That explains your dizziness and nauseau. Well at least you fond out what it was. I really hope that tylenol works. Did they prescribe any antibiotics?

Lady J...I was hoping you wouldn't be offended! I just knew you are busy and this must take you a lot of time to do, so when I saw that they updated...I had a minute here at the office and figured I'd do it for you but just put it in bold so you would see the changes I made. I really hope that's ok.

Anyway, I'm actually doing good. So far, TWW isn't bad. But I'm really trying to talk myself out of HPT on Valentine's Day.  I really don't want any false hopes or even a false negative, so I think I'll just wait. At least, I say that NOW. lol

My swelling/bloating has gone down a little. I can now button my pants.  Yippee, no more safety pins holding my pants up. LOL

I really do hope you feel better soon. Glad the headache isn't as bad/or is going away!

Well, it is a polyp, it will have to be surgically removed before ivf, and this will most likely delay my cycle. The hysteroscopy today he said was strictly diagnostic, he said he only removes them at the hospital under general anesthesia. He said for surgery, I can not be on bcp's, so I will have to stop them, have the polyp removed, and then start again, and will probably miss this round of ivf. On top of all of this, he wanted me to get a physical before ivf since during my pregnancy I had some high blood pressure, and I am now under going all sorts of heart tests due to a borderline normal ekg, so he said we can not do surgery, polyp removal or ivf, until my heart is cleared. Ugh, this all really stinks.

Michelle- Sorry to hear about you being delayed, that sucks eggs!

Really hope your surgery goes well and all other tests come out conclusively positive so that there is no reason to worry any more.

When do you think your surgery may be scheduled?

Hang in there, your time will come!

CT_Michele I am sorry you have to endure more test and surgery I know it is hard and none of us want anything to stand in the way of our cycle when we worked so hard to get to the starting line as for borderline ekg I feel we sharesome of the same medical history I had ekg borderline and PCP did stress test (wouldnt wish on my worst enemy no fun at all) everything came back good this was a month ago I was told it was stress I am sure it is just precautionary and everything will work out and when I had my surgery it was 9-2-08 started stimming 9-22-08 so it was a small set back for me I hope the same for you and try to keep PMA it will help and I am here to make sure of it

Hey ladies, I have great news and bad news: Great news first: RE called today and said that I have 10 embryos. I'm shocked. They still do not know if they will do a 3 or 5 day transfer. bad news: I still feel terrible. My stomache is still cramping bad. I could not go to work today because of the pain. I am not nauseated (sp?) as well. Has anyone had this problem before after ER?? I really thought I was suppose to be feeling better today.
Shelly: how many embryos do you have??

Ok guys did ER this morning and they got 10 EGGS. Last cycle I only had 8 so thats 2 more for me. I am happy but still very sleepy. They said I will be called regarding the fertilization report on Saturday the day before a 3 day transfer if they don't push it to a 5 day. I requested a 3 day transfer just because my family are coming from NY later on tonight but they said if all looks well why not do a 5 day to up my chances.

Question for everyone... I am hungry all the time. Since waiting to start the cycle and starting BCPs I lost a total of 10 lbs (I am a heavy girl at 5' and 200lbs) so I went down to 190. Since starting stims I went up 2-3 lbs. Not bad since I went up to 210 last cycle. I don't know if eating all the time is causing the weight loss but I can't stop eating. Its like I have a little monster in me asking for food and making noises everytime i am with a patient. Has anyone else gone thru a similar situation?

Ok well I am going to go cook some ziti my stomach is asking for some food =]

My embryologist called this morning...we have 9 embryos! Yeah! He will biopsy them on Saturday. I like that they call every morning to keep us updated.

Kcraven: I am still hurting a lot too. It's really hard to stand up straight because of the cramping. I definitely couldn't have gone to work today. I'm okay as long as I don't move :). Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I'm trying to drink a lot of water/powerade to prevent OHSS. Did you say you are nauseated or not? I'm not. I've been able to eat just fine (although it seems like my pain increases after eating because of a full stomach). You should read the symptoms for OHSS & see if you think you might be getting it. I don't want to scare you, but you shouldn't overlook it either. I'm sure you're fine. Let me know!

I am so sorry you have to go through this. I haven't had any polyps, and my last EKG was normal. I do, however, have high blood pressure and am on THE pill that is safe for pregnant women, it is called Methyldopa. So don't worry about the HBP it can be controlled.

I'm prayin for you hun!
