Gosh, this thread really moves along

Bathing - I have been bathing my two together since about 9 months. It is something I never do alone as I am very uncomfortable with two in the water. They go under so quickly as some of you have experienced. My DH has always helped at bath time and if I have to bath them on my own I do it one at a time.
Schooling - it is interesting to hear what people in other countries have to say about schools. We have pondered this since before the twins were born! We will send them to a private school and luckily the one we have chosen will be able to take them. Some private schools here in Australia have waiting lists so long they stop taking names. People put down for a place whilst they are pregnant yet that still does not guarantee ther child a place.
Tolbee - After the twins were born I left work and have not set a date to return. I chose to study at home instead as that way I have plenty of time with my kids. They are our last so I really wanted to enjoy them. Everytime I think about having to organise two toddlers to childcare, get myself ready, drive through traffic and then do all the same at the end of the day makes my head spin. Plus the cost of childcare for two children here in Australia would be ridiculous.
Woodcliff - WOW your babies are 10 mos old already - great to hear all is well.
Kholtan - a twin mummy on our Australian twin website lost her twin daughter to cancer at the age of three. Her daughter's twin brother did not understand and is constantly looking for his sister at home - it just breaks her heart. The sadness of it all really touched me too and I thought about it for days - so very very sad.
We just got back from a 4 night stay away at the beach - pure heaven. The twins had a few "firsts." They tried pizza, calamari and chips. Ice cream is a hit as well

We have had flooding in the northern part of Australia and massive fires in the south. The fires have claimed 75 lives already and 700 homes. It maybe the worst fires that Australia has ever experienced. So sad for all those families caught in the fires......
Thinking of you all
