I got my update. I am scheduled for ET tomorrow at 11:40am. I had 10 eggs retieved on Thurs like I have said previously but one they thought was an egg wasn't. Out of the 9 eggs all 9 fertilized (100% fertilization rate once again). Unfortunately 2 days after I only have 6 embies dividing. They will call me at 8:30am to confirm whether I will have Et tomorrow or if they will push it to Tuesday. I did leave them a message asking for ET to be tomorrow because my family came up from NY this weekend and really want my mother or sister to be there with me during transfer.

Chris.... Be positive I have a feeling this IUI will work!!! Its our time hun.

Rosario - Congrats on all 9 fertilizing. If i knew I would get my 3 eggs and they would have a 100% fertilization i would have gone ahead with ER. Hope you get to have ET when your family is in town. It is good to have support. Keep us posted and we will be in the 2ww together. YEAH!!!

Rosario- It still sounds like that is a great number, and good luck on your transfer.

To Have Fun- It sounds like you made the best decision, and I wish you best of luck on your IUI. When do you have it?

This two week wait is taking forever to go by. I know longer feel like I am about to start my period, but I feel nothing really. I guess it is way to early to have any symptoms. I almost want to break down an POAS. Is it to early to do that?

Hi All!

I have a question - The first 3 days that I took the PIO shots my butt was really sore but now it's not bothering me at all. I am worried that something isn't right with the PIO or am I just getting used to it. Has this happened to any of you? Also I was really bloated after ER & ET and had quite a bit of pain in my ovaries. now I'm starting to feel normal again. I guess I have felt so many different things the last month with all the different meds it's hard to adjust to feeling normal. Was wondering if you all are feeling more normal after ER (it's been 2 days).

Don't worry about not hurting, be grateful! I still will have days that for some reason I hurt on the side I got the shot. And sometimes, nothing. It's normal I guess.

As for the swelling...mine came and went up until this last week! I seemed to swell after eatting anything so I thought it was gas. But, the nurse said that was normal as well. I just wore the yoga bottoms the days I was so swollen! I'm finally wearing some of my jeans again!

How's that 2WW coming?

ok... kind of a personal topic but what did ya'lls drs say about sex in the 2ww? mine just recommended against it, said theres no real proof either way but it would be better to skip it so i wouldnt blame myself if i got a BFN. he did not say anything about having an orgasm... what is "acceptable" right now? its not fair to pump us full of this hormone crap and then tell us to change everything else too.

shelley: Hey, I started feeling much better today. I was told to add a lot of sodium to my diet and I have done that. The only thing that hurts now is my butt from the PIO shots. But I will take that pain any day over the pain I have experienced over the last several days. RE called this morning and said all my embies were doing good and they want to wait and do a 5dt. So we are on the same page! I'll be thinking of you!!

Ladies, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!!! Baby Dust to you all!

Well I am 6 days past transfer, and I did something stupid this morning. I POAS, and it was negative. I know everyone told me not too, but it was to tempting. Now of course I am worried. Is there still hope, and did I test way too early?

molly23-i had the same question because i broke down and did a POAS even though i said i wouldn't. i did two both negative 8 & 9 days after transfer. so now i dont know if there is still hope. if it was positive it could be a false/positive but i wouldnt know till test at docs office and i would have had hope.

Girls you are testing WAY too early, those are false negatives.
I would try again 10-12 days after transfer and even then that could easilly be a false negative as well, that is why the clinics insist you take a blood test.

There is still full hope, you are still PUPO!

Rosie and Molly - i agree with SIS, I think you are too early to POAS. Give it a few more days. At least now you know that your trigger shot is out of your system. Don't give up hope yet.

Sis - How are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a while. You are cycling agian in March correct?

waiting for 4 - My RE also said no Bd'ing in the 2ww. I figured after a week or so after transfer it should be OK. The embie should have implatned by then. I did Bd in my 2ww but that was after I POAS and knew that it hadn't worked. I have also heard many stories of ladies having an organsim and they still ended up with their BFP. Go have some fun.

tburks - Don't worry about feeling normal, i am sure that will change day by day. Enjoy it while you can.

shelleyj5
- Good Luck on your transfer tomorrow.

kcraven - Hope your OHSS is subsiding. Glad to hear you can do a 5dt. The PIO shots do suck. Even though I am doing an IUI I will be right with you and doing PIO on Wednesday.

amfmbaby- Sorry about your cyst. Seems that a lot of ladies are having cyst issues lately. I had one on my left ovary this time, my E2 levels were good so they let me continue. As it turns out I only have 1 good follicle on my Left side. I kind of wonder if the cysts screwed things up. I know the waiting sucks but you will be doing a baseline again before you know it. How was the wine? I have been really good and haven't had a drop of alcohol since starting stims, which is really really good for me. I am not an alcoholic but like to have beer or wine at least once a week.

Hope everyone else is doing good. The trigger shot is doing all kind of weird stuff to my system. Since i was on a really low dose of stimming drugs, I have not had all the usually crazy side effect. I haven't even wanted to chop DH's head off at all. Now since the trigger I feel all kinds of bloated and have pain in my ovaries now and then. Tomorrow I will do my IUI. Then I am sure that I will have tons of ovulation pain. Last time I did IUI with injectibles I had the worst pains. I am taking off of work tomorrow so at least I won't go postal on my co-workers.

Hi Everyone,

Boy, this board is sure hopping! It's exciting to read about all the BFP's! I have been following all of you lucky ladies who are in the 2ww with baited breath. Can't wait for your beta results. Good luck! :D

Rosie and Molly, don't let those HPTs get you down. I'm sure there is a conspiracy amongst the HPT makers. They know we just can't wait and they try to lure us in with the 'extra sensitive' test that can tell us early, but I'm sure it rarely does. Sisi and To Have Fun are right, it's just too. Hard as it is, just try your best to be patient.

amfmbaby - I have a cyst, too. When I went for my appointment to find out what my protocol would be, she saw a small cyst on my right ovary. She didn't seem too worried, so I guess I'll just have to see what comes of it when I start stimming. I hope it works out fine for both of us. Good luck to you!

mandeekins - congrats on the BFP! I know how the things we read on the internet can make us fear the worse, but hang in there. There is a very good chance that it is twins. I wonder if it is possible that both of your transfered embies split and now you have two sets of identical twins?!?!

kcraven - glad to hear the sodium is helping. Which day will you go for your 5dt?

To Have Fun - I hope your IUI goes well tomorrow. I think you made a great decision. Baby dust to you! :D

Sorry that I can't keep up with everyone, but I wish you all the best! :D :D

I am excited to start my synarel tomorrow. I mentioned to the RE in my consult that I was worried about needles so instead of Lupron I am doing the nasal spray. Has anyone else used this product? I am worried that it won't be as effective as the lupron shots, seeing as my nose is an awfully long ways away from my ovaries!

Hope everyone had a great weekend,

Kim
