When did you decide to go with donor eggs?

How long should we try before we decide to go with donor eggs? It's confusing, but I don't want to feel pushed or rushed. I mean, I want to try for a bio kid first. I'm just confused.

Our Re sugested using egg domor after 2 failed cycles - despite max stimulation drugs on first cycle I only produced 3 follies and second 5 - said could try again with my own but as self paying thought we were wasting our money.

We were the same as Carolyn, our consult mentioned donor eggs from the start, but said to give us a go with our own eggs first.

First cycle just produced one egg second cycle none on max stims both times.

Then took me a year to come to terms with not having my own biological child and then to use donor eggs.

I knew we should go for donor eggs because it finally felt right to and I knew I would be able to cope with any questions later in life as I was comfortable with it myself, my sister donated her eggs to me so we had to have some counselling as well.
