Brenda I am so very sorry for the loss of one of your babies..... i'm pleased that your remaining little one seems happy bouncing around in there and i'm sure it must have made you feel a little better, seeing that you still have one healthy, lively baby on board ((((hugs)))))

As far as the cvs testing goes, i'm undecided... i dont know how accurate it would be with 3, but on the other hand i am 36, so i know i have an elevated risk of there being something wrong....

Hi everyone i am so excited to join you guys. My delivery date is September 5 but since i am going in for a scheduled c-setion, since my first was a csection that moves my due date to August 30th......

Brenda, lynniecat and cocosmama so happy to see you guys on this thread! Hi to everyone else, here's wishing all of us a happy and HEALThY pregnancies!

I am 9 weeks pregnant with one little bean. I went in for a scan this past Wednesday and all looks great, measuring right on target. Heart rate was 177bpm, i am wondering if this is another boy since my DS's heart rate was always high too. sure hope so! I am HUGE and getting bigger everyday. I am about at the same weight now like i was at 4months pregnant with my son, this worries me since i put on 50 pounds with my son and i can not imagine myself even bigger this time around!

Brenda- I am so Sorry about losing one of your little beans! I know EXACLTY how you feel since that happened to me too with my first pregnancy. I know the other will grow nice and healthy! So glad to be on this thread with you!

when is everyone coming off the meds. My obgyn told me to stop all meds next week when i am 10 weeks but i am SOOOOO nervous!

Brenda, oh goodness I can't imagine what you are going through right now. You still have the one, I know you heart is still breaking. I miscarried both babies in a previous pregnancy and know what I went through, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I had a check up today and we are on track still, Baby C, the one I miscarried has completely vanished and I have been bleeding for 3 weeks now. I was a nervous wreck. Now I am 8w5d and feeling a little more confident. I have lost three beans so I pray God believes this is my time. I also found out I have placenta previa where part of the placenta covers the cervix...forget the circlage now! Doc said there are risks with the circlage so they will not put it in until I show signs of needing it. The placenta should grow outward with my belly, it can heal itself from my early stage of pregnancy. We will see...I am not too worried right now. I can't be!

hope Hey there and welcome, its good to see a few more people joining our thread.

As far as stopping meds, my RE started reducing my PIO at 8 weeks. I went from 2ml daily to 1 1/2 ml daily. At 9 weeks he reduced me to 1 ml daily, then to 1ml every other day. As of yesterday i will be on 1/2ml every other day for one more week and then stop. He also reduced my estadiol from 2mg to 1mg and now as of yesterday its 1mg every other day for one more week then stop, so i guess i am being weaned off my meds starting week 8 and i will totally stop at 11 1/2 weeks. Some people stop after they get a BFP and i read that the pacenta makes the hormones after week 8, so i wouldnt worry too much....

When we get closer to our due date i will be asking you about cesareans as i will also be having one and i'm quite nervous about this (had surgery on tubes before and it knocked me around so bad, i'm so scared of being cut there again :( ) but i will worry about that as time progresses!!! for now i am also enjoying my growing bump :)

How is everyone else doing??? Lynnie not heard from you on either thread for a while, how u doing????

Hi ladies! All is well here, I guess. Still feeling bad in the afternoons, but I have my mornings back now and I am so happy about that. I am a morning person and to feel bad the minute my eyes opened was hard. Now I just start to feel bad around 2pm and don't stop until I go to bed. It's ok though! I am glad to know they are still in there and growing. Anyone else peeing every two hours throughout the night? My goodness, it's killing me!

I see a Maternal/Fetal specialist on Wednesday. I assume they will do the NT scan? Not sure. Then I see my regular OB for the first time on the 17th. I am excited to see the babies again and check on them. At this rate, I am seeing them about every 2 weeks, so that's comforting. I just pray all is well with both. I will be 12 weeks on Thursday. EEK!

Welcome, Hope! So glad to see you here!!

My clothes are getting really tight and I've got a little tummy. I can't wait to actually look pregnant and get out of this ackward fat stage!

Hi Kas - I am 11 weeks today. Most of the appointment was spent with the doc taking our medical history, I got weighed and blood pressure taken, heard the heart beats and also had a PAP done since it had been over a year (yuck). I scheduled the Nuchel Lucency test for 2/18. I can't wait til then to see my babies....I feel like it's been so long since I've had an U/S. Good luck with your appointment on Wed!! Let us know how it goes.

Hello Ladies,

I had my final u/s with the specialist and saw the babies dancing!! It was so cute, they were using my bladder as a trampoline! HA! Cute now but may not be cute tomorrow. I am 10 weeks now with twins. I purchased the greatest thing on Earth, a maternity belt, its just a wide wasteband that covers the unopened pants and lets you continue to wear your normal clothes a bit longer. I feel like a sausage though. My placenta previa is clearing up as I get bigger so that is good news. Grow babies, grow.

Hi ladies,
I am new to the cite and to blogging all together. I am now 13 weeks (due 8/18) and still have morning sickness. I felt queasy through week 8, but then the fun started. After week 8 i started with the constant vomiting and ended-up in the ER for IV fluids. As a result, i was prescribed anti-nauseous meds. My OB confirmed the meds were fine (but it still scares me to take them after all we've gone through to get to this point, so I take them sparingly). Now starting my second trimester things have gotten better, but I am still slumped over the toilet at least once a day 9and gagging several other times). Everyone keeps telling me that it is s great sign and that it shows my progesterone levels are high (I would hope so after all the shots), but I am just curious if this is more prevalent amongst ivf pregnancies because of all the meds we had to take. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi all,

I hope everyone is doing well as we will all start to enter our 2nd trimester in the next week or two.

Donna (doddo 72) Sorry I have been MIA. This pregnancy has just been really different for me , until last week all I wanted to do was veg out all day long, I just felt like I could not get moving go from the bed to the couch and back again ( being pregnant at 39 is much different then when I was younger). I am now starting to get alot of my energy back and cleaning out closets moving around ect. Plus I have decreased my Estrace to 2 mg a day and my ALL DAY LONG SICKNESS is slowing down. Not sure if it is from decreasing meds or over the 12 week mark. I think we both go to the Doc's office on Thursdays. I usually get there 9:30 or 10:30 depending on what they have open, are you delivering at City or General?

I was depressed that I lost one of my twins but so glad that the other baby is doing well. I went for my NT scan almost two weeks ago and they said that the back of neck (fluid) measured at 1.2mm and she said that was really good. But Doc thinks that my blood numbers will come back high because I still have the other twin in there. Any thoughts???????

Cocosmomma- How are the twins doing? is your day sickness almost gone?

Hope 33- How are you doing? It is so nice that we are here together from the IVF- board.

Kas101- Are the triplets giving you any relief with morning sickness?

Annie973- Glad you joined us.

Sorry if I forgot anyone, Keep us posted.

Hey ladies,

My wife is concerned because she hasn't gained any weight and today is our first day out of the 1st trimester. Any other ladies not gain any weight in the 1st trimester? She actually lost a couple of pounds, but the nauseu was bad enough that she couldn't eat very well at all over the past 8 weeks or so. I told her not to worry about it because she wouldn't be gaining weight when she couldn't eat from the sickness.
Destiny is not a matter of chance, it's a matter of choice.

Hi everyone! Things are going ok here. Had a bout with bleeding last weekend that scared me to death, but the babies were fine. They diagnosed me with placenta previa. Going back to see my OB tomorrow (Tuesday), so hopefully my uterus has grown some and the placenta has shifted. Fingers crossed! Still feeling badly, but it's not as consistent as it has been, so I am hoping that means it is starting to wane. I am ready to start enjoying this pregnancy!

Bigrediowan - You wouldn't be a Husker fan, would you? My husband is from Omaha and tells the babies every night when he tucks me into bed "Go Big Red". I am a die hard Seminole, so it's getting a bit annoying. But since we are having twins, we've decided he can have one and I can have the other! ;-) Tell your wife not to worry - I just started my 2nd trimester last Thursday and I haven't gained a thing. I asked my high-risk OB about it week before last and he said I was just fine. I also look more pregnant at night than I do in the morning. It's weird.
