Hi, I've just been for my first appt at the ARGC this afternoon and they suggested we consider immune screening. We've been ttc for three years, with one natural pregnancy that miscarried at nine weeks. Has anyone had this screening, and was it helpful? Any info much appreciated! Emx
Emma...I just had the clotting panel done, and much of the immune done. I'm unable to get any fertility related costs covered by insurance, so some of the immuno testing I wasn't able to do. However, I did turn up with a double copy of the MTHFR C677T mutation, and am now going on Lovenox for all future cycles. Wish we had known that before lossing our twins, the chemical, and two failed cycles. I think if you're Unexplained, and you've had failed IUI's and IVFs it is something you should be doing. Good luck kiddo! If you need any information on testing, let me know. I don't visit this site as much as I used to, so you might want to email me, if you do. Good luck to you, and I hope they don't find anything!
