2 week wait buddies

Hello, 2ww ladies,
I am new to all of this but when I found this site I decided to join in. I had my 1st IVF transfer Feb. 8th. Had four 8-celled embryos. Transferred 2 and froze 2. I am 39 and after getting pregnant with my 1st naturally at 38, I lost him at 26 weeks. So after waiting and not getting pregnant naturally after 6 months, we decided to go for IVF.
Looks like this group might be good luck! Lots of good news yesterday. So I am here to join in and wait with any other 2 ww buddies. Baby dust to all!

Im so excited for u ladies that got a + beta yesterday!!!! Im really getting anxious and hope that your good luck will rub off on all of us. Welcome June Bug! Sorry to hear about your loss, I know how that feels. Things will turn around for you! Just have to stay positive!
I go in on Friday for my first beta-not feeling any symptoms of pregnancy nor do I feel any symptoms of my period coming....think I should be worried?

carmen,siouxsie,labstoo- CONGRATULATIONS!

ionlywant1-well i haven't had beta yet i am scheduled for 1st one tomorrow (2-11). i know everyone says HPT are not accurate i took 3 all negative. i am glad beta is tomorrow so i can stop obsessing.

Good Luck to everyone with betas coming up! don't be impatient like me and POAS. the 2ww stinks but i think it kind of deflated my spirits a bit because of the HPT.

Good luck to all the ladies testing this week! I know it is hard not to read too much into the signs your body is giving you, but have hope. I swore that my beta was going to come back negative because the pending AF feelings, the big zit I got on my chin, I even saw a little blood on the suppository applicator and got totally deflated from all this. But, in the end, I got my BFP and I know you ladies will too!

I also have signs of AF, including my face breaking out all over (a little more excessive than normal)

I go for a second beta tomorrow 2-11 and an ultrasound.

Way to go CARMEN!!!!. This is very encouraging for the rest of us buddies because I remembered that you kept saying you had a lot of symptoms of AF. And look at you now! Good job little embies. But I do agree with JennL25 that maybe twins are in your future. Good luck with your next beta and ultrasound tomorrow

RosiePosie: So sorry. I got you mixed up with Siouxsie. Like you, the wait is killing me. My beta is tomorrow, too. I'm still cramping and having what I call brown smudging coz its not really bleeding and I would hardly call it spotting. No more peeing on sticks. Siouxsie sent a link for a site with beta values for successful singleton pregnancies. Anything over 5 is good and if your brand doesn't detect under 25 then you're just worrying yourself for nothing. Just take a few calming breaths and take it an hour at a time.

Ntrlmystc79: My DH always reminds me "It is what it is". At first I thought, OMG that's such a man thing to say. But I take it to mean that the beta will be the same whether I stress or not, if I read into the symptoms (or lack thereof) or not.

Kittycat: Welcome to our little group. I'm a newbie, too and I'm so glad that I worked up the courage to post. Only 2 more days for you. Sucks that your husband is away, may he return home soon and safely.

I got the news today.........BFP!!!!! I can't believe it you have no idea how long I have wanted to type those three letters. My beta was 200 and I have to go back on Thursday to get it checked again. I am beginning to think we are all good luck!!!!

For those of you who have AF sytmptoms do not give up. My cramps felt exactly the same way they always do before my period, my boobs hurt but that has actually gotten better over the past few days. Usually right before my period the pain lessons so that is why I was thinking I was not pregnant too. The only thing I would have to say was different was a feeling of bloating. I usually don't feel that way. I also have been waking up in the night and peeing.

I did a NO NO today and POAS---after three of those evil sticks I actually saw two lines but I will not get my hopes up till BETA on Friday but I am so excited for the 4 of you that are BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just wanted to share a stat that my RE told me: One-third of all IVF pregnancies have spotting or heavy bleeding. He said no one is sure why bleeding is more common in IVF pregnancies than in natural conceptions, but NOT to give up-- even if you're bleeding heavily!!!

Don't give up hope for your BFPs!! Wait for your BETAs!

ionlywant1-that's ok no need to say sorry. i dont have any spotting, i do have cramps that come and go quickly. good luck tomorrow!i used 3 different brands of sticks. if i have to do this again make sure you check up on me and yell at me if i even mention an HPT!

Hello! Can I join y'all's thread.

My Beta ia on Friday and I am super nervous I did do two home pregnancy test today and got a postive on both, but still I know nothing is postive until beta.

Congrat to all three who so far have BFP.

Carmen your numbers are super high, and maybe you have twins. Did I read that you are from Atlanta? That is where I am from.

About peeing........I was up 3 times last night peeing! I thought I just had to much to drink b4 I went to bed but you are giving me hope.
