I have been reading this message board for about a week. I am very new to all of this, so please bear with me. My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year. My 4 sisters all had a easy time getting pregnant so I knew something was wrong after 6 months of trying. I convinced my gyno to start testing us. Everything paned out fine for me but DH has a low sperm count. We met with our RE in October and waited for the insurance to start up on Jan. 1st. Our RE has a doing IVF with ICSI. This is our first round and hopefully a successful one. We started stims this past Saturday and I go for b/w and u/s on Thursday morning. I hope there is a party going on in there!
I want to thank each of you for putting yourself out there! This can be such a lonely process because it seems like everyone can get pregnant so easily. (I am a guidance counselor at a high school, and I get so frustrated with counseling teens who get pregnant. I find myself biting my tongue when I am talking to them, and then I cry afterwards because of how unfair this is. Sorry for bringing down the mood.) You have all really helped me feel supported and normal!
Anyway, I am trying to be as optimistic about the process as I can. It is definitely an emotional roller coaster.

Today I did a digital EPT test, and within seconds it said "PREGNANT". Why can today not be Friday. I so want to have my beta over with to confirm I am pregnant. I keep having weird dreams where my beta numbers are too low, and it is freaking me out.

since my insurance was ending this weekend i tried to push my beta to friday but the nurse keeps insisting that is way too early to tell anything YET all you other girls with ET on the same day are so much earlier... I wish she would just get with it and let me test NOW

Do ya'll know what the protocol is for us being around paint fumes? We had our house painted yesterday and I went to see it. The house was full of fumes but I was quick looking through and had my sweatshirt bunched up over my nose and mouth the whole time. You dont think I did anything bad do you?

waiting - Glad to see that DH has some things lined up. I wish your RE would let you have a beta on Friday. That would only be a couple of day early. If you POAS and get a positive they might let you do it early. Though I am not pushing you to POAS.
Molly and Barb - Sounds like you both are knocked up. Congrats, can't wait to see your beta #'s.
Michele_CT - Good luck with your hear scan and getting your polyp removed.

Nothing is new with me, just hanging out trying to figure out if I do have fertilized eggs, when they will try and implant. It seems like time is going by really slow. Today i am only 2 dpO. UUUGGHHH!!! I hate waiting. I also figured that this cycle must work because I can't add anything else to my profile on this board. .

I can't imagine having to try to counsel them while going through this IVF process and infertility junk. Praise the Lord for your strength! WOW, I really don't know that I could do what you do!

Rosario - I will try and keep the 20th in my brain. Sending tons of baby dust. I will probably start POAS on the 20th.
Jenn - I decided to do and IUI instead of going to ER. I only had 3 follies and was fearful that I wouldn't have any good eggs at ER. So I won't get a beta, will just POAS till the 23rd.

I had a question. I have already gained 2 lbs. and I think it has all gone to my boobs! I have had to go up another cup size. Is anyone else experiencing this?? Do you know if this is a side effect of the PIO?

Good Morning Ladies... Happy Hump Day Ladies!!! Well, let me start off with the great news.... I got my AF... Yipee!!! I started spotting last night, but woke up this morning with full flow. So I called my RE this morning but now I have to wait to see if I can come in tomorrow morning since I don't work tomorrow. I have to wait and see now. So Stims, here I come!!! 
Another issue I have to deal with this morning... I told 2 of my good friends here at work what I am doing, and I told them not to tell anyone that I was only telling them cuz they r my friends. Well, somone other co-worker that hangs out with us came and told me today, so when u do your procedure, see if they will put in 8 eggs so like thatmaybe u can have 8 babies like that lady. I told her, so u heard? She said no u told me, remember? No I didn't, I didn't tell her so no I am on a mission to see which one of the l2 ladies I told told her. I am very upset, and I am going to tell that person that I told them in confidence and thanks alot for breaking that confidence. Aaarrrrr.
Anyway, let me go on.
Jenn.. Good morning 2 u 2!!! Yes, I love how the board is getting so big. I can't wait to see all the BFP we get by the end of the cycle.
Chris... Is this your first time doing IUI? What is the reason for infertility? Basically IUI is having a natural cycle just helped u out with eggs then, am I right? As for your Reproductive Cycle, is yours good? I won't be able to do IUI if I have 1 tube and the one that is left has minimal scarring? Do I make sense? Do you plan on POAS sooner than the 23rd? Good Luck.
waiting.... I am so glad that things are starting to look good for DH. So go enjoy your New House. Symptoms sound very promising. As for the fumes... No good if u r in the room constantly. But if u went in just to look and had your nose and mouth covered, then I beleive you should be fine. When I was PG the first time, my DH was doing the nursery and most of the time I was in there with him while he was painting. I didnt know then that it was harmful, but my daughter is fine. So you RE still saw 2 little embies in uterus? Did he say they were like the baby Sacs? SO if he sees 2 then u may be having twins? Sounds wonderful. Well u only have 6 days for your Beta.. I really hope u get your BFP. Good Luck.

tburks My boobs are huge!!! I am a 38D but they are definitely fuller. Dh is really happy then again which man isn't? I think it has to be from the PIO shots. My nipples are slightly bigger and darker (yuck).
