Wow, so much is going on in here!! Congrats on all the positive betas, how exciting! I have not had a chance to post but I have been reading every day to follow along with ya'll. Well I took a hpt, very early, expecting that it would be negative. I figured if it was negative I wouldn't stress out because it was early, and if it was positive that would be a great surprise. The test came back with a very, very faint line. I don't know if it is actually a line or where the line should be. I am not stressing out or anything, just curious if anyone has had similar situations and had positive results??

Good luck to all of the ladies testing this week.
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

OK ladies, someone has to join me with a BETA on the 16th!!! :D I don't want to be the only one.

I almost called RE to see if I could get BETA done on Friday instead, but I haven't done it.

Well, have a great day ladies.

Oh, and I am awaiting the BETA results from RosiePosie and Ionlywant1! Can't wait to see 2 more BFPs. You two are doing BETAs today, right?

Thank you for saying so. Sometimes all we have is each other. Most of us have been through much personal torture and I truly believe all of us deserve whooping BFPs. I am having a harder time today. Broke down this morning at the dentist’s. First time I ever got a hug from a dentist. Won’t know until anything more until tomorrow, but they’re telling me to watch for unusual pain in case it’s ectopic

Sounds like it’s your time.

Talk about stress. Breathe deep and stay calm. Sounds like you have a great safety net.

Fingers crossed, this is it.

Brit1612 - I just wanted to respond to your hpt question. I took one four days after a 5dt and got a very very faint line. I had to hold it to the light to see it! However, I took one every single day since then and the line kept getting darker. So I would suggest taking a couple more to see if the line gets darker.....good luck!

Molly: I live in Acworth as well!!!!!! Neither my husband or I are from here but have lived in the area for three years now. How ironic!!!!

I started infertility with my obgyn, in marietta near kennestone...and then moved on to georgia reporductive specialists. I went to the office by the king and queen building. I had an IUI with them and it cost me a FORTUNE and decided to move on to IVF. I went home to Panama, Panama for my IVF. I have three cousins there that all conceived with this dr. We have a set of triplets, twins, and a singleton. It cost me a fraction of the prices here and was a much nicer facility than here.

************************************************************

I went for my second beta today and my first ultrasound. So far we have one visible tiny little bity baby, BUT my numbers are high....we might have more. I get my beta's back tomorrow and return for more beta's on Monday. Wednesday we have more beta's and another ultrasound.

Sticky baby dust to everyone!!!!! I love reading all the positives...keep them coming. I'm praying for you guys!

RosiePosie,

I am sorry about the negative test. You are in my thoughts and I hope you and your husband can comfort each other through this. Always remember you have each other!!

siouxsie
You are so strong right now and just have to take it one day at a time. hope you get good news tomorrow. I go in again tomorrow for a second beta too.

Carmen,
Did your doctor say aything about your beta being so high? Mine was 200 and after reading on line that is pretty high. My nurse made it seem like it was a really good number so I shouldn't worry. I was trying to see if it was a good sign of twins and as I was reading stuff I came across information about a Molar pregnancy. I need to stay off the internet.

Happy to report... BFP!!! Value was 101. My doctor called (usually its a nurse that calls for results) during his lunch break coz he couldn't stand the wait and looked me up on the computer. So happy that my cheeks are hurtin' from smiling. I'm elated for today but I know I have to keep my emotions in check and go one day at a time. It ain't over till its over.

RosiePosie: Being an IVF veteran (2 failed cycles with no frosties) I know exactly what you're feeling -- and it sucks! All I can say is that its ok to cry.... but its ok to hope, too. Time heals all things. And being the strong woman that I know you are, you'll find acceptance. If you are brave enough to do it again. Please keep me posted.

*Ert*: Thanks for including me in your prayers.

Siouxsie: Its good that your doctors are being vigilant coz catching and ectopic early is a good thing. Not all betas double in 48 hours, even in normal pregancies. I think 15% of normal pregnancies don't double. Also I think your betas were 24 hours apart and I don't know if there are accurate graphs to interpret those values. I'll keep sending positive vibes.

For everyone else waiting. I hope the days and hours go by quickly. Thanks again for everyone who was thinking of me today :D

Thanks again to everyone! You ladies are the best. Today my step-son got into a little trouble at school so my DH had to address that so we really didnt get a chance to talk about anything. Then I called my Mom who I do not tell many details because she has a lot of drama at her house with my sister-in-law so of course today was in full drama craziness so I couldnt even talk to her about stuff. I thought it would be selfish of me. So here I am didnt get any feelings out yet and I feel today I should have been allowed to. Well life of course doesnt happen the we want to sometimes (obviously that's what brought us all together in the first place), but I have been through a lot, just like everyone here and would like a little attention today. I am going to see the doctor to talk about a plan (I dont remember if i mentioned that already) so I wwill keep you guys posted.

ionlywant1- i am so happy for you!

Rosie Posie- So sorry to hear the news. I totally understand (gone through 4 ivf's with no success) I am now in the process of my first fet with donor embryos. I didn't think I could get over the last miscarrage, but now we are here and everything seems to be going well. I hope you can get to that point soon. Will be praying for you.

Siouxsie- Thinking of you for tomorrow's beta. Hope everything goes well. Thanks for being so encouraging to everyone.

Carmen- I think the beta sounds great!! I would love to hear a number like that. I have had nothing but low numbers in the past. I thought that molar pregnancies had extremely high numbers, like in the thousands!!

ionlywant1- Congrats!!!!

Annie- thanks for the positive story, those are always nice to hear!! Have you had your actual beta yet?? I am curious if your numbers are high since you had a positive so soon. I am 6dp5dt and I first tested yesterday. I tested again today and had similar results, I think it had darkened up a bit but it is hard to really tell.

Hope everyone else is doing well and that the rest of the 2ww flies by!

RosiePosie- So sorry, but dont give up. I have had 2 failed IVF and still trying. Its okay to cry, believe it or not things get better.

Ionlywantone- Congrats!!!!

Carmen- Way to Go

Souixsie- you are in my prayers.

As for me I woke up early AM with sharp pain, or pinch and lasted for hours. I was afraid to move. Has continued thruout the day. I spoke with the nurse at the doctors office and she said it could be both good or bad and just hang in til tomorrows beta. talk about trying to keep my mind busy while relaxing all day. I think I will go to dinner with my bestfriend. Everyone says the third times a charm and I truly have to believe that right now to help me sleep tonight.

Anyone new in the group testing with me tomorrow or am I flying solo?

Everyone will be in my prayers [/b]
