kate - I too was researching like crazy on the internet and was terrified that my number meant something was wrong. I read somewhere that a molar will show way high numbers like over 10000 or something. Don't be too worried...sounds more like multiples to me!

LadyJ - I've been on, just not much to report. I haven't even thrown up yet! Just reading my life away...there is such thing as too much research!
Glad you had a great time; we're going out this weekend with friends...this will be my first weekend to have to say no...it sucks! But, I'd rather be pg than drunk any day!

Rosario & tburks - i'm not sure where I found it, but it was a google search and basically the faintness of the line doesn't say how pregnant you are, it's just that your urine is more diluted or that your HCG is really low. My guess since you're doing it more than once a day is that your urine is more diluted. Some websites also say to POAS first thing in the morning. Regardless, all websites said the same thing, "A line is a line"...Congrats girlies!

Jenn - GL on your Beta.

Rosario - Most HPT's say to use first morning urine because it is more concentrated and will have more HCG. This is probably why you see a line in the morning and not in the evening. Give it a couple more days.

I posted a bit ago, but it was sandwiched between all of the BFPs, so it was easily missed. Rightly so, too. :D

I go in for my Beta on the 20th. DH made me promise to not POAS before then, so I have been trying to keep my mind busy. It hasn't been easy. In fact, it has been killing me!! Although for V-Day, DH surprised me with a delayed gift. I go in for my beta at 8am and then I am off to a full day at the spa!! Such a wonderful way to stay sane on an otherwise insane day.

I am off to do my PIO shot, so I will do personals another time. Good luck to everyone, wherever you are in your cycle, this upcoming week.

I've been MIA for a long time, but I've been trying to keep up on all the reading. Sounds like there are tons of BFP's here. This is so exciting!!! So I'm currently on Lupron and Follistim. I have my cycle day 9 ultrasound on Friday the 20th. We are so excited for it :) I do have a wondering question. We can't make up our mind what to do. We really don't want a BFN as ofcourse noone wants. We were thinking of asking them to transfer 3 embies to up our chances. I am trying to way out the risk verse the reward. I wouldn't want to put our little ones in danger and I hear how 3 is dangerous. So can I hear from all ya'll about your thoughts on this. I was wondering too if our clinic would even let us transfer 3. I haven't asked them yet.

Lady J- thanx for keeping me on the updates even though I've been MIA:)

PS I can't wait to hear more BFP's!!!!!
I'm 26 -DH 27
We just found out we have an egg quality issue
Low count, motility

Our First IVF with ICSI
FEB/MARCH- BFN :(

Hello Ladies! Well Valentine's Day was nice even though DH got hurt at work (he is doing fine) and then made me think all day he didn't have time to get me anything! We went out to dinner and I lectured him on how he had 364 days to plan something because it falls on the same date every year. Well when we were done eating he laughed and gave me a beautiful emerald and diamond necklace. He said he bought it awhile ago and hid it in my underwear drawer (i guess I have too much stuff in there). What a guy! I felt bad for giving him the lecture. He just thought it was funny.

AF came for a visit on the 15th so I go on Tue for FSH test, then we will have a pow wow with RE to see what to do next.

Brown01-Your 2WW is almost over. Hang in there. The spa sounds like a great way to keep you occupied! I am going to keep that in mind for next time.

There are a lot of betas coming up, good luck to all! You are in my prayers!

Hi, all. Thanks for so many good thoughts!

We transferred three, so triplets are highly unlikely. We'd be okay -- nervous, but okay -- if it happened, though (talked about that remote possibilty when we decided on the transfer number). Much better to have three than none!!

Chris, thanks for the referral! I just left a message for Kas. I hope you're right about it just being timing.

Molly, very comforting to hear that. My numbers are not even close to millions. I think a molar would be about the worst possible outcome.

Rosario and tburks, getting darker is definitely a good sign, so try to take your mind off it and do something fun while you wait for the beta.

Lady_J, thanks for posting everyone's updates. I've felt different each cycle, so don't read anything into the bloating. I think it's because they're always adjusting the protocol.

Lots of betas today and tomorrow ... good luck to all of you!

Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a good weekend.

Good luck to all the BETA's Girls Today!!!!

Kate - When is your U/S? I love to see how many are brewing. Hopefully just 2 but even if it is 3, like you said 3 is better then none.

RosiePosie - That would be my luck, give DH crap about not getting me anything for V-day and then he brings out a present. My DH is so sporatic I just don't count on anything for my b-day, anniversary or V-day. Some years he is really good about getting me something and others he isn't. It really doesn't matter to me because know I have gotten in the same mindset. Sometimes I get him something, other times I don't. Good luck with your test on Tuesday.

Brown01 - The spa sound really nice. Hope you can enjoy that with your BFP.

CAFirstInvitro - I don't remember your background but with your age, I would doubt that an RE would put back 3. I guess it might depend on your egg quality. I know most RE's won't put back 3 until you have proven failed IVF's or in your mid 30's. I know it sucks with such a gamble but the RE's have to think of the babies and your best interest. I would talk with your RE and see what he/she thinks.

Lady_J - Once again, thanks for keeping everything updated. Glad you had a good weekend. Good luck with your u/s and b/w, hoping you have some good follies growing in there.

Tburks - Did you finally get your power back. I was out of power for 2 day a couple of years ago. Ended up staying with the in-laws because it was like 100 degrees out. I was so happy when the power came back on and I could go back home.

Rosario - Still POAS'ing night and day? I am so happy that you got a positive. We have come such a long way, it is out time.

mandeekins - Can't wait for your u/s. How are you feeling?

SueQiwi - Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope your stimming is going well.

dys24 - What is going on with you? Where are you at in your natural cycle?

I will be checking in throughout the day to celebrate more BFP's!!!! I still have 1 more week to wait. No real symptoms yet except for some cramping and sore boobs but I always get that a week before AF so I am not going to read anything into that. Hope you all have a good day.

Power is back on - was off for 4 days. It wasn't real bad we have a big generator that ran the freezer, entertainment center and a few lights. We have gas logs so they kept the house warm. The hardest part was not being on the internet. I felt so disconnected!!! lol

I don't have to go into the RE's office for my results Thank the Lord! They are 3 hrs away so I just have to wait for a call. The lab opens at 6:30 in the morning so I'm gonna try to be there and get it done so hopefully I will get my results early. Today is going to feel like FOREVER!!!!

tburks - My u/s is this Friday and I'm so tired of waiting! To make it worse, the ladies at my work have started a betting pool on how many babies I have...they're insane! Good luck today! I too had to wait for the call...and of course, they took their sweet time calling me. I was a complete basket case!

Chris - I'm feeling good...just tired all the time. No ms yet, whew! I'm not ready for that. I have had nauseous feelings off and on but if I eat I feel lots better! When I had symptoms I just knew something was different. Like I've said, I don't get cramps before starting and my bbs only get sore like a day before, so it all just felt totally different. I had a hunch early! Good luck to you...when is it again that you get POAS? Soon right?

waiting for 4 - Woohoo for moving up the BETA! Good luck today!

RosiePosie - You crack me up...I did the same thing! However, in my defense, my DH is not a card and present type of guy at all. And of course, all the ladies I work with were getting flowers on Friday and talking about their plans to go to Park City for the weekend and yada yada yada. I gave DH crap and then of course he pulls out my WII Fit, which I have been trying to get my hands on since before Christmas and no one ever has any in stock! Boy, did I feel like a schmuck!

CAFirstInvitro - I hate to tell you, but I doubt if your RE will let you xfer that many. My clinic actually only suggests that someone in your age category with no known problems and the first cycle to only transfer one! You need to talk to your RE about your concerns! We only transferred two, our two best embies and things worked out. Good luck to you!

Brown01 - You lucky girl!!! That's the kind of stuff my DH would never do at all...what a guy you have! Good luck and enjoy your spa day...lucky, lucky, lucky!

For all you ladies on PIO still, is anyone having a pain in your tailbone? I've had this pain since I started PIO and it's the only thing that I can think of that could cause it. I haven't fallen or sat on anything hard...but tailbone is killing me! The worst is when I roll over at night, I hit it, and then it wakes me up. Anyone else had this pain either with PIO or is it possibly pregnancy related? I might call my OB, but I'm holding off...I don't want to be an annoying first mother LOL!

Good Morning Ladies.

Waiting for 4- I am so excited they let you have your beta early, and I cannot wait to hear your results. Good luck on a BFP! How did you convince the FINALLY to let you do it early?

mandeekins-Only 4 more days until you ultrasound. What do they see in an ultrasound this early, and will you see a heatbeat? Are you having any pregnancy symptoms yet?

Tburks- Did I read right and today is your beta? Good luck to you and lots of baby dust.

Rosieposie- your DH sounds like a romantic, and I am happy you your Valentines day turned out nice.

CAFirstInvitro- Like everyone else said it is unlikely your doctor will put back in 3. I was so nervous on the day of my transfer I asked my doctor to put in 3 and he would not even consider it. He basically said he did not want to be like the doctor in Cali with the octuplets and be on Time magazine.

Lady_J- How is your stimming going? Good luck on your bloodwork and ultrasound and tell us how many emibes you made.

Tohavefun- I know the wait is long, but you will be POAS before you know it. Do you plan on trying early?

Kate65- I am glad to hear you are feeling better about your numbers. When is your ultrasound?

As for me- I went for my 2nd beta today, and just waiting on the call for my results. Should I be having symptoms yet? I am kind of nervous that I don't. My breast are really achy but I think that is because of the progesterone shots. When they call with my beta I will let y'all know the numbers. Today when they call I am going to make sure to find out when I get my ultrasound. The waiting sucks.

My SIL went into labor on Friday and I ended up having to drive her and my MIL to the emergency room bc it came on too quick for them to make the 2 hour drive back to her doctor. By the time Iparked the car and got to the room, she was pushing and Kaitlyn Grace was born like 5 minutes later. SHES ADORABLE! I will try to get a pic onlin later. I cant believe I am an aunt.

Anyways, bc of this fiasco, I missed a lot of work on Friday and called the dr to see if I could meet him Monday when he is in Sugar Land (where I live and work) instead of waiting until Tuesday and having to take off an extra hour of work to drive across town.

I will let y'all know. We meet with him at 4 pm and its only 11 right now. Who knows how the day will go, the morning has been one of the worst I have had in years.

Molly23 - Don't worry about not having symptoms yet; it's still early! I've only had some symptoms off and on. I highly recommend going and getting What to Expect When You're Expecting...it's an amazing read. It walks you through week by week and tells what the baby's doing that week and goes over your symptoms.

This first u/s is just to see placement and how many. They want to make sure it's not ectopic, but with my levels and what I've read about ectopic, I'm thinking that may not happen. However, the embryo can implant in other places that aren't good. Also, they can see how many! We won't be able to hear the heartbeat until about 8 weeks, so a few more weeks for that one!

Waiting- Congrats on being an aunt! That's exciting. I know it will be even more exciting when you have your own, but when I had Ella, my brothers were super excited, and I also can't wait for them to have kids, I will be just as excited for them as when I had my own. I can't wait to be an aunt. Good luck on your beta today, we can't wait to hear your results.

tburks- I am anxiously waiting your results too, good thing you don;t have to make that long drive, that would be nuts. I complain about a 30 minute drive each way, I don;t know how you do it.

Kate- I know you saw 3 is unlikely if you only transferred 3, but look at octomomo- transferred 6 and got 89, so anything can happen. I am betting atleast 2 in there, I have been on these boards for a long time and that is one of the highest numbers I have seen. But I don;t think it is too high, it is within normal multiple range, especially if you did a 5dt.

brown- your just a few days away...you have been in my thoughts and I am praying for you and hubby. Let me know if you cheat and poas. Have fun at the spa, I need to go so badly, I am going for a full body treatment before this next ivf cycle.

Not much new with me. Still waiting on a phone call about polyp removal. The clinic actually called this morning and said I missed an appt, but I actually didn';t. It is sad, today was supposed to be my last bcp and baseline bw and u/s, but because of the polyp, it's not. Oh well, just more waiting for me, I will let you all know when I go for surgery.

Ok, good luck on all the beta's here, I am betting there will be a lot of bfp's here, seems like a lucky thread.
