Thanx for the definition! If you get false negatives with it then it doesn't seem worthwhile because I'd just stress more.
Speaking of stressing more, I've gained nine pounds, food smells make me throw up, combined with lots of foods just are making me throw up. Toast seems to be the exception.
I hate to call the office again given that I called every day last week but I'm really uncomfortable. I feel like I'm going to burst right now.
I've had one successful pregnancy which resulted in a beautiful baby girl who is now a beautiful teen, but i was twenty something and other than a short spell of morning sickness, it was an easy pregnancy. I only gained 11 pounds in total.
The logical part of me is cautious, but I keep thinking they put four embryos in me, no wonder i feel like I'm going to burst.
BUT...and this is where it gets complicated because although we were given the overviews and know generally what the next steps are in the event of success, I'm not clear on the details. I assume this is because there's no point in overloading with information at the very beginning.
How do you go about the selective reduction process if all the transplanted embryos take? No one wants to be the octuplet mom but four embyros could all split and then what!
for the bloating, make sure you are drinking at least 3 liters of water a day and watch out for signs of OHSS...I would absolutely check with your RE if you are concerned and uncomfortable - don't worry about bothering them, they are there to answer your questions...
good luck to you!

they have checked for ohss. I normally drink a gallon or so of water every day and I've increased it .
I am a ballet dancer and haven't been exercising or dancing oor even stretching at all for fear of causing a problem. Maybe that's why I've gained so much weight.
I hear you, 41. I'm putting on a lot of weight too and think it's pretty much all water.
Part of that's probably the total lack of exercise (which is driving me nuts, same as you), part of it's meds which definitely cause water retention. Part might also be a good sign -- I just learned your body retains more water when you're pregnant to increase blood flow. That plus your morning sickness sounds pretty promising for Friday.
Keep in mind that things are different every time you have a baby. Even if you have them close in age, you can have morning sickness one time, not the other, etc.
