Kcraven - we are in the same boat. I test on Saturday, i talked to my RE and she said it was still very early, and not to worry. I wish my mother would think that way. she just drove an hour to my house to just see that i was ok for herself. i think this has been as hard on her as it is on me and dh. he is dealing with it by renovating our entire house all at once. i think that drives me almost as crazy as all of this. I am going to test again in the am also and then not again until thursday, i can't go through this every day. Good Luck!

to have fun: Thanx for the input. Thats what I was thinking too. We'll just have to see. Well Good luck with your wait. Only 1 more week and you get to POAS!!! :) Sending you sticky baby dust :)

mandeekins: First of all I have to tell you Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. I was at the edge of my seat catching up on the reading and reading about your BFP. I was reading as fast as I could to catch up and find out the good news. I was several pages behind :) Anyhow thanx for you input also. I figured they would be very cautious which I would want them to be cautious because it is risky for the babies and myself. Well just wish us luck. I'm going to see what they recomend and you know thats why they get paid the big bucks :)

Molly: thanx also for your input. That does make a lot of sense. Oh and Congratulations to you too!!!. Your BFP had me at the edge of my seat too. It is so nice hearing these BFP's. They make me so much more excited.

Thank you all for responding. It was really nice to hear someone else perspective :) As for me I wish Friday came sooner for my ultrasound :). I can't wait to see how many follies I have :)

I am sure y'all could have figured out it was negative from me not being on last night. My HCG level was 2 so obviously something didn't work right. We don't have our insurance anymore since DH lost his job so I don't know what our next step will be. We are going to spend a few months just being ourselves and not 2 people trying to get pregnant. How do I go back to that? How do I stop caring about the fact that I may never get my baby? This has been the worst week of my life, I sure hope things turn around.

waiting 4 for - So sorry about your BFN, I know it sucks. It also is a let down that you no longer have insurance. Please don't stress too much about it and enjoy having some fun with DH and not worrying about the whole pregnancy thing. You have at least one good thing on your side and that is your age. You are still young and have lots of years left to try. The economy will eventually swing back up. Your DH can get another job and hopefully that job will have insurance. Either that are you might be able to save some money. You are destined to be a Mom so it will eventually work out. You are in my thoughts and prayer.

DH keeps telling me I should go talk to a counselor or something but I don't know if it will help. I have always been the kind of person who keeps things inside (doesnt always work out so well). Have any of you gone to talk to someone through your IVF group? I think its free at my dr's office. I still cry often about losing my first pregnancy so maybe its worth a shot. What do y'all think?

Waiting for 4 - I haven't talked to anyone but with your previous loss and with this cycle not working I think it might be good to for you to talk with someone. It couldn't hurt. If you don't like it or don't think it is helping, you don't have to go back. I don't think it is good that you keep things bottled up. One of these days you will end up exploding.
Infertility just sucks and just takes a toll on our self esteem and outlook on life. We probably all need to talk with someone.

Waiting for 4, I'm so sorry about your BFN. I hope you're taking time to do something really nice for yourself.

For what it's worth, I had the same reaction as Chris. You're young and you'll try again and you'll beat this. We can't help but take it personally, but so much of this fertility stuff is just numbers. You have to try enough times to beat the odds. When you're ready and your husband has a new job with great insurance, you'll do another cycle (or two...) and the time will just be right!

We did see a fertility therapist at one point. for us, it didn't help much with the fertility thing, but it was great marriage counseling. I think it's a good idea, but make sure you get someone you feel you can talk to.

Hi Ladies. I'm new to the board but have been reading all your posts. Hopefully you don't mind if I join! 8)

My DH and I are going through our first IVF. I had egg retrieval last Monday (2/9). They retrieved 22 eggs and 12 fertilized. We transferred 2 "perfect" eggs on Day 3 and froze 4 others. The other 6 eggs were still going strong so they were hoping to freeze a few more on Day 5 and 6.
So now I'm in the fun 2 week wait period. Man is this hard!!

To everyone that just got BFP - Congrats!! That is so exciting and now you can enjoy a fun pregnancy!! How did you guys stand the 2 week wait?? It's killing me right now. Did you have any symptoms before your BETA? I don't really feel like I'm having any symptoms yet (except I've been kind of tired) but I don't know if it's too early or a bad sign!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Waiting For 4 - I'm so sorry for your BFN!! Please do whatever you need to do to for yourself right now. I agree that talking with someone might not be a bad idea. I'm like you, I like to keep things inside but sometimes just opening up and talking about it (with someone beside your DH) can really help. Just hang in there hun!!

waiting for 4, I am so sorry to hear about your BFN. As far as cost to continue I'm sure you guys are already aware of ARC. but just in case you are not, it basically works like this, you buy "packages" and then you make monthly payments for the next 2-7 years. But you can purchase a couple cycles at a time and $300.00 a month is alot better than $15,000 all at once. Not sure if that helps, but for me it is always easier to cope with something if I have a plan in place.

waiting: I am so sorry for your BFN. I am thinking of you!! I would go talk to someone. It may help and if it doesn't then you can stop going. Feel my (((((HUG)))))!!!

niki: Thanks for the info. I am trying to convince myself that I am just testing too soon. I did do another test this morning, however, and it was negative. : (. I am trying to tell myself to wait until Thursday and test again, but I doubt I will be able to wait. I just love torturing myself!! But I have not given up hope for my BFP yet!!!

Sorry ladies I have not done personals in awhile!!! Also welcome to all the newbies!! I wish you all the best!
