As far as your follies, everything sounds great. I don't know much about the E2 level. My doc only checks it once at your first stim check. No more checks unless there is a potential problem brewing. I know others have docs that follow it more closely but i don't know that it tells you much. It will tell if you are responding at all to the stims, if you are over stimming and it gives you an estimate of how many mature follies you have thus how many eggs expect at retrieval. I think that is what it tells you anyway. Hopefully some of the other ladies will chime in and correct me if i am wrong.

Now i am going to take a shower and go run errands for the first time in about a week. I am already following the twelve step program you have outlined for me. It was not only funny but applicable. THANKS!!

I will check in later and revise the list when my little guy goes down for a nap.

I was on BCP for 21 days, and then down reg for a week with Synarel and then Menopur 450 daily (I am in the UK, I think the med names are different in the US?). How is this different from an estrogen priming protocol.

The embryologist just called and both embryos are dividing properly and are currently 4-cell. Hooray! The transfer will be tomorrow morning, a 3-day transfer. I am relieved that they both made it this far! I was really scared of what she might tell me this morning. shew.
Thank you for all the support. This is soooooo stressful. And to top it all off I was in a car accident yesterday! No worries--it was a minor fender bender and not my fault. But oh boy did I lose it and freak out at the scene! I could not even speak I was crying so much. I think it was all the IVF pressure and stress coming out too. That poor guy who hit me felt terrible!

so ya, I spoke to the nurse today, she said everything is going well, she is hopeful that after my U/S on Thursday, I can either trigger that night, or with in next 48 hours. I ordered 300 UI's of follistim just in case I will need them for the next two evenings.

Oh and I can feel my ovaries doing stuff, but only at night--when I lay down, and I am a stomache sleeper, so it tends to get a little uncomfortable.... but it feels good to know that something is happening.

I will have my egg retrieval on Friday - so trigger shot of Ovitrelle this evening. I have 5 follies, so am praying for at least 3 eggs on Friday.

I too can feel my ovaries grinding away, I have definitely puffed out and feel very bloated. I think having the eggs removed and ovaries back to normal'ish size will help.

Anyone else finding it tough to hear about friends and colleagues' pregnancies? I feel a bit mean, but I am in self preservation mode...

I just returned from transfer. I am so happy--the embryos looked great this morning--one 8-cell and one 9-cell with no fragmentation! I feel very lucky after having only the two eggs fertilize. They are safely back inside me now! The transfer went very smoothly. I am going to take it easy today and let them settle in.

Okay, I had my 2nd U/S today to see how my follies are doing. I may have to go back on Saturday for one more run at it. I was diligent in my keeping track this time and I ask the sonographer to tell me the measurements. They are as follows:

So there you have it. 34 Follies, (is that freaky enough for you Kell??? LOL) and 17 of them are over 10. My uterine lining measured at 11.5..is that too thick? In spite of all the follicles I feel great, a little tired, but not as bloated or nauseated. I haven’t gained a lot of wt either, maybe 2-4 lbs.
