Roasrio- Are you sure of this? I cannot imagine having to go through all this IVF stuff to end up dealing with infidelity too. Please know we are all here for you, Vent away if you need to. I am so sorry

Waiting - the price can range depending on how big a vile you purchase. My RE suggested i buy the 300 IU viles they actually have 425 IUs in them and they are $225.00 per vile, but you get the extra IUs "free" . Hope this helps. Capital one will finance any part of the cycle that isn't covered at very good rates. With all of the stresses this brings on worrying about price is just awful.

waiting- I just wanted to second niki about the capital one financing. Dh and I applied and got approved for $4000 at a rate of 1.99% over 18 months. Of course it depends on how much you request, credit score and pay back time. 18 months was the shortest pay back time and 1.99% was the lowest rate. It also gets paid directly to your doctors, so you can only use it for stuff at the clinic. Insurance covers our ivf, but there are so many fees not covered, like freezing, thawing, anesthesia and part of TESE that we knew we could not afford a big chunk like that out of pocket. So it is worth looking into.

Rosario ((((HUUGGSSS)))) You hang in there. You are a tough lady and can get through this. Your beta is in a few days, so there is still hope for your pregnancy. If it is a BFN, you are still young and have lots of years to try weather it be with DH or someone else. YOU WILL BE A MOM SOMEDAY!!! As far as your DH goes, we can all come over and kick him in the arse

tburks...yes, my RE gave me the due date today when I went for my 2nd BETA. But your right, when I use the link that was given me and use that calulator it does say Oct 20th. So I don't know. RE checked it twice.

I plan on asking OB/GYN when I'm released to her (just for a 2nd opinion). She also had to do IVF so she may know how to calculate it.

OH, and when is your 2nd BETA? Is it tomorrow?

My 2nd beta is tomorrow. They open at 6:30am so I try to get there early so I can get the results early. They take about 2 hrs. Won't see my RE for another 2 weeks and they should tell me my due date then. For now I'll go with the calendar thing I guess. How many days was your 1st beta after the transfer?
I'm guessing my beta # are suppose to double by the 2nd beta is that right?

tburks & jenn- I called my nurse to get my due date early

My regular OB wouldn't see me until I was 6 to 8 weeks and the receptionist wasn't sure if I would go by date of last period or if it was different. My nurse said they have a different wheel they use and they go by ER day, because that's the day of conception. So, my ER was Jan. 20 and Sunday the 8th of Feb, after my BETA, I was exactly 5 weeks. Not sure if this will help you with your dates or not!

Anyone else have a beta # as low as mine??

I am trying to figure out why it is so low. Jenn I know you had a 5 day transfer and you tested on day 14 so that would make your beta higher.

I tranfered on day 3 and tested on day 12.

have y'all heard of the drug called Femera? My RE just called and said he's researching it bc he thinks that should be our next route if we can't do IVF right away.

I really feel lucky having my dr. He said he was just as shocked and upset about the results as we were but is positive it will still work for me. Not all hope is gone-

Hi Waiting!!

I took Femera for our IUI cycles. My dr said it's similar to Clomid but is supposed to be better b/c it does not stay in your system as long. I guess it's not approved for fertility treatments yet but my dr has had a lot of success with it.
It didn't work for us but that was more b/c of the white blood cells in my DH's semen....they wanted to cancel our IUI b/c there were so many white blood cells but I had them do it anyway b/c our insurance covered 100% of the cost. It didn't work though and we moved on to IVF. Now I'm praying and waiting for my BETA on 2/26.

Oh - and the good thing.....I had absolutely no side effects from the drug!! That's a nice change.....

Guys after all my stress and anxiety and everything i am going thru... I am proud to say that after skipping some POAS i got my 2 lines. I am thrilled to see that I can possibly be pregnant at this point. Now i understand why HPTs are evil. I was worrying for nothing. I was asking for a sign and God has given it to me. I will try to work things out with DH and take this positive as a good sign.
