Molly that is the satistics. They dont normally check your cervix. The reason is if for anyreason your cervix is not cosed at this point there is not much they can do. Unfortunitly if you are goingt to loose a baby this early the dr's will tell you there is nothing they or u can do. Normally a first trimester loose is your body telling you something is wrong. So take a deep breathe and relax.

RE told me they could see the heartbeat @ 6 weeks. i didn't know they could hear it! I also read if the heartbeat is detected your chance of mc is like 3%.

niki
congrats of the + POAS!!! It is comforting knowing that you got your BFP on a stick but I think we all still want to see those #'s!!

I should be getting a call soon about my 2nd beta. Lord let my #'s be good!

I think I am just scaring myself because I don't think I really have any symptoms yet. I bought the book what to expect when expecting and it seems like I should have symptoms, since I will be 5 weeks tomorrow.

Molly im not surprised that you have no syptoms.. Think about it most people in our shoes dont even know they are pg until they are like a week or more late which makes them 6-8 weeks and they have no symptoms. If you didnt know u were pg you wouldnt expect anything. Think about it most women do not know they are pg 2weeks after conception

Good Morning Ladies... Just here at work trying to play catch up. I want to be caught up for next week.

Niki... Nice seeing a Positive on an HPT huh? I wish I knew the feeling already. Congrats again, 2 more day for your official Beta.

Shelley, nice 2nd Beta. Love those high Numbers. As for the Hearin shots.... sometimes I don't feel it going in, but lately I have been feeling it, I literally have to stop injecting half way and push the rest in after a little break. And the areas I have injected have been bruising now and when I touch it hurts. Aaarrr, the pain and agony we go thru... but I have to stay positive and remember it will all be worth the sacrifice.

Molly... U poor lucky girl, hopefully u don't get the complete symptoms cuz they aint all they are cracked up to be. But if u do get them, then enjoy I guess. But hun, dont worry about not having any symptoms now. It may be to soon. When I was forst PG when my DD, I started symptoms at about 7-8 wks pg. You'll be fine hun.

CA... I am on Follistim. The first few days I didnt really feel anything this time around, but one day to the next, I feel so bloated, cramping, I even have to unbutton my pants cuz I feel pressure in my abdomen. ALso, I noticed that I have to get up every few minutes, cuz I will get sore down there, like if blood needs to circulate. As for crossing my legs, u can forget about that right now.

Ill check back in later.
I am 32 yrs / DH is 34

Thanks everyone for the reassurance. Honestly I will be happy when I do get some symptoms or a great ultrasound, whichever comes first.

TBurks- It is still very early I am sure they will call with the results soon. Do you go to a different place other then your clinic to get your blood work?

Hi, all. Lots going on since I last checked in!

tburks, as others have said, your numbers aren't low at all. They're absolutely average. The reason they look like that to you is that this board has unusually high numbers. I think a bunch of us are having multiples and it's just too soon to know for sure. Anyway, my RE says the number itself doesn't matter at all. It's the rate of increase that matters.

SueQiwi, nice numbers. Congratulations!!!!

Jenn, I'm so sorry about your mom. It must be stressful to have all that going on at the same time. Our thoughts are with you.

Molly, I had almost no symptoms (unless you count being tired and bloated) until today when morning sickness came on with a vengeance. Some people have late or mild symptoms and some people never get them, all with completely normal pregnancies. I read that something like 30% don't have any morning sickness - wish I were one of them now!

Lots of betas tomorrow and Saturday ... good luck, ladies!

I had my second beta Tuesday and was up to 28,000! Yikes!! Two separate nurses have assured me these are perfectly normal numbers ... for triplets. Third beta tomorrow.

Well ladies, another negative this morning on HPT. I also think I have just started my period. My beta was suppose to be tomorrow. I am waiting on RE to call me back. I'm going to see if they will let me go to a dr. locally for a pregancy test so I do not have to drive 3 hrs total to find out what I already know. Has anyone else ever gotten their period before their beta?? I am more upset than I thought I would be, but it could just be I am PMSing!! This really SUCKS!! My dh is trying to be supportive but I am just being a total b*tch right now. I keep telling myself not to take it out on him. He wanted this just as much as me and he is grieving as well but I can't help it. Sorry to be so down! I just need to get it out!!!

Kate- So you are pregnant with triplets? Also what we did your morning sickness set in?

kcraven- Don't give up hope yet. It could be spotting and you never know with HPT that is why they are evil.

Tburks- Any news yet?

I agree with Molly. HPTs are evil. You never know until BETA. I hope this is just spotting for you and not AF! We're here for you, let us know.

Hey girls I got my #'s!! 497
:D :D
I'm glad they went up so much. RE set me up for u/s on March 6th!!

I really want twins - that's why I was worried about my # being so low. If we can have two in one shot we'll be finished!! RE said with these #'s twins are possible but we won't know for sure till u/s..
