Missy, your beta is in 4 days right? How are you feeling? Nervous as hell i bet. I am praying this is it for you.

Sue, how is our other PUPO girl doing?

Kat, are you a complete freak or is it just your ovaries? It looks like you will be stimming longer. What size does your doc what your lead follie to be before trigger? No matter what you are going to have a bunch mature follies. That will be me at my next ER.....NOT. How many did you have cooking last time when they canceled you. Are you having any problems this time? How high is your E2 level?

NY, so glad to see you out there posting and trying to come up with your next plan.

Lynnie, thinking of you.

Santa, i hope all goes well on Friday. You could have eggs in every follie. I did. I had 5 follies, 5 mature eggs, all 5 fertilized and made it to blast. But they only froze the 2 that still looked great on day 6. That still pisses me off. Anyway, my point was that i think you will easily get 3 but hopefully more. Yes, it is hard to see other pregnant ladies. I am working on the answer to the estrogen priming but i have some questions about it myself. When i get them figured out it will answer you. But the drugs you are taking are called the same thing here.

Renee, i hope you and Rocco are having a great time with your sister and nephew. Try to catch some whale pics to post if you go whale watching.

Suzanne, when is your next US? How are you feeling?

Tammy, how was your vacation?

Sisi, what is going on with you?

bdantonio, I am a little confused. Are you now doing IVF or did you do it with you children? You have had such a horrible time. I don't know how you kept going. You are a rock.

Waving hello to everybody else. I will up date the list again soon since we have had so much going on in the group lately.

HUGS, Kelly

i did ivf for all my pregnacies.. Without ivf i have a 2% cahnce to concieve however my eggs are the quailty of a 46 yr old not a 26yr old. I am done now... I wanted more kids but was advised against it i was told that they could not guarantee my life through another pg.. I was extremely ill my last pg, i had a picc line and everything.. I stick around to see the girls i went through the journey with complete theres cause without them i would of went crazy. I love being able to help others the way everyone helped me.

Kat~WOW!! You are an egg factory! Congratulations on all those follies! So impressive! Dang--that's over 10x as many as I got! chuckle. You go, Girl!

Santa~How did your trigger shot go? Yep--I find pregnancy news very hard to cope with. My brother's wife got pregnant during our 2nd IVF and it was really hard to take. He is going to make such a great Dad and I am excited to have a nephew--but all I could do was cry at first.

I am still taking it easy today and letting these guys settle in. I have been eating tons of pineapple with the core because I heard it helps implantation. But some ladies on another board said it can also promote uterus contractions--not good! Have any of you heard anything about this? Is pineapple good or bad during the 2ww? Kelly-have you heard about this?

Kelly, my beta is on Monday yes, but I am taking a HPT on Saturday. I'm anxious for that as last IVF cycle it said I was pregnant before my BETA and it was right! Regardless of what happens, I am blessed to have my little babe Sophie in my life. Of course I truly want to give her a brother or sister (or both) as all our families life far away....we'll see!

Love and hugs to all!

Sue, i have heard rumors that it helps with implantation or something. I have also read over and over that you should Egg Mcmuffins from MCDonalds the day of transfer to better your odds. I personally don't think either of these impact the outcome. But if it makes you fell better than go for it. Here i just found this for you.

bdantonio, you are such a blessing. Most women seem to fall of the face of the planet once they get pregnant. I have never understood why so many of women that have been so fortunate don't stay on the boards to help those that are still struggling. It is the same on every board. I just don't get it.

Believe me the journey was hard for me.. Being 20 when i started I had no friends to turn to the didnt have my issues they were in the prome of their life. I was 19 when i found out i was in perimenapause and that if i want kids you better start now. The i had numerous losses. Everyone around me outside of these boards didnt understand. From the time I was 20 to i was 25 i was pg 7x and last 5 pg's which in term was 6 kids. All my friends would always tell me be patient it will happen. Well i just wanted to tell them where to go. At the age of 20 yes it will happen however at the age of twenty and starting menapause and the eggs of a 40yr old then all i could do is hear that timer clicking down. I am blessed that i have my two angels, but in no way was it easy. My first one that told me had downs and all and tried to get me to abort, and after everything she was fine.

Hey Kelly

I talked to my Nurse today---she said my follies are good and they are growing as they should. I do have another U/S on Saturday 9:30 am. I did no get my blood checked today and learned later that i should of. I have to do it tomorrow am. I also learned that my E2 level at my last U/S (Monday) was at 338....that is a far cry from 3200 at day 8 and 7200 at day 10 of my last cycle.

So what does 338 mean? It seems so low is that right. See I worry about shit even after the fact. UGHHH

So, more shots, and hopefully I will do my trigger shot on Saturday night. and the ER will be Monday. :)

Even though my nurse didnt sound all happy and excited like I'd hope, I asked her point blank what all this meant. She was then very optimistic and commented that she had not seen anyone ovulate like i have...which was intended in a good way. I did not want her to say that I have that POCA (is that right) or some other anomaly. While at the same time I do not want to be overly excited or optimistic as to jinx myself.....what if it doesnt work. I will be so sad and diappointed.

So how are the rest of you ladies doing?

Lynne C---how have you been? NY glad you're back, Reee... still getting your naps in? Hello to everyone else.

Hello everyone, I had my egg retrieval this morning, they collected 5 eggs from 5 follies (which is better than my previous cycle that resulted in a m/c, where they retrieved 4 eggs from 6 follies). So cautiously optimistic, will get the all important call from the embryologist tomorrow to let me know how many fertilised. Quick question for everyone, my lining was only 8.2 day before yesterday, is that too thin??

AKMom - 34 follies?! that is unbelievable, you are so lucky !

Sue - I am sure your embies are snuggling in. I too have heard that fresh pineapple is good, apparently not too much, but 1/4 of a fresh pineapple a day. Who knows though ! I did accupuncuture for my last cycle, but not this time. Are you going to exercise during the 2WW? I really don't want to give up spinning classes etc, but is there any risk to exercising 3x week during the 2ww?

Missy, best of luck with your HPT tomorrow, I hope to log on later to find good news !

Kelly, thanks for the estrogen priming info, no rush, just very curious about it.

Anyone else from the UK here??

I agree, if I am lucky enough to have a baby after this whole ordeal, I too will be logging in just to say, keep the faith and hang in there. This whole process has been draining, frightening (not to mention the 4 am panic attacks) and expensive !!!

hugs

Santa,

I was told anything over 8 for the thickness was great so that sounds fine...did they also give it an A, B or C? I guess that means the lining is A - smooth, B- slightly bumpy and C - bumpy....C is the best but the nurse said it's not a big deal. I think mine was B the first time and it worked. No idea what it is this time!

Thanks...hopefully I am logging on tomorrow morning with some early good news!

Missy, no, they didn't grade the lining at all, so I don't know.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will have some great news for us.

Question: my husband is absolutely against transferring 3 embryos as he is terrified of triplets and wants us to transfer only 2. In the UK, you can't transfer more than 3, even if you are over 40. I explained to him that with my ol' eggs, that we would be lucky to get a singleton even with 3 embryos.

Out of curiosity, how many embies have you and others transferred?

hugs
