I was hoping some of you ladies could help. I just got my bfp yesterday. 14dp5dt and beta was 1225! I am thrilled about the beta but my progesterone was only an 11. I was on 1cc of progesterone, and now I will be on 2cc's. I am glad that they caught it and raised my dose but I don't know if it is something I should be worried about. Will this affect the baby or babies??
I would love any insight, or similar stories. Thanks!!!

they have to keep your progestrone above 10 or you can m/c they like it between 25-40 is what i was told. With my last daughter i got to 10.5 before they finally got it to go up i had to do suppositoris and injections. But i carried her to full tem and shes fine
Thanks for the positive story. I think mine should go up. I had this happen one time before and they added another cc and the next visit it was back above 20. I had a miscarrage that time but they don't think it has anything to do with that. What I was worried about is if the temporary drop would hurt the baby. Thanks again for your story.

Mine tested about that low initially also. Dr. upped my dose to 2ccs as well. It later tested higher but my RE was being extra cautious (I've had 1 m/c) and kept me on the higher dose for 10 weeks. I ended up switching from shots to suppositories, 2ccs was just too much for my poor bum! But I'm nearly 27 weeks now and my baby girl is developing just fine.
Congrats and good luck!

Both posters are correct... I was told over 10 too and they kept mine between 17 and 24... both babies are great! And a somewhat low reading doesn't hurt the baby - I had a very low PG level (luteal phase defect) with my spontaneous preg 15 years ago and I went to term...

It is sooo encouraging to hear these stories. Thank ya'll very much. I didn't want to have to worry after having such a good beta number. I'm looking forward to going back on Tues and seeing if my levels have increased properly. Thanks again for the support.
Cocoa- did you or are you having twins?? I would love to have twins, and my beta is kind of high. I know it is also in the normal range for one, and of course I will be thrilled to have one healthy baby! Do you remember what your hcg levels were around this time? (I was 14dp5dt with a 1225.)
