Kat, I am so sorry to hear about your nephew, life is so hard and unfair sometimes. I hope you find some comfort.

Missygirl - woo hoo! a faint line is only ever going to get darker !

Kelly - thank you so much for the info and keeping us all in the loop - this whole process is hard enough and I only ever seem to remember all my questions after I have come back from seeing the nurses or the RE.

My fert report: 3 out of 5 eggs fertilised, apparently there were only 4 mature eggs. This is better than last time when I had 2 fertilised eggs. ET is on Monday. I have managed to convince hubby that we need to put back 3, instead of 2 embryos. I spoke to the embryologist today who said that at my age, 42, the chance of multiples is only 3-4%.

Hope everyone is doing ok, it was a rare sunny day in London... nice.

Lynnie~Thank you so much for all the great advice. Your post really helped me a lot and I appreciate it! I am thinking of you and your baby Girl. You must be so exhausted from the waiting and worrying. I know the news will be good this week--so hang in there a little longer. And then you can finally relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Missy~Congrats to you on your BFP!! That is super news.

Kat~I am so sorry to hear about your Nephew. What horrible news--especially somebody so young. It must have been quite a shock--and especially emotional with fertility drugs mixed in too! My thoughts are with you.

Santa~Congrats on your three fertilized eggs. How exciting that you've got one more to work with this time than last time. (I know how every egg is precious!) I hope they are dividing like crazy right now!

Kelly~Thanks for your great advice.

I did end up going to yoga yesterday. I just did child's pose if I felt like it was too much. I think I am going to trash my pineapple! Gonna try to distract myself today and not stress so much.

Hello Everyone.

Thanks for your kind words, I really appreciate it. I am certain these hormones are not helping with the intensity of emotion.

Good news today, I triggered at 10:30 AK time after my U/S

They are:

12 Follies over 18mm. and a bunch more in the 10 to 15 range and 15 under 10. my lining is still around 11.8 so that is good too. We are exited to go to the next step --which is new for us. I continue to worry and pray all goes well. I am so happy to read all of the success on this board!

Missy, SueQ, Renee, Santa and everyone else whose name escapes me. I will let you know how the ER goes..

Later, and thanks gals

Hello Ladies..I'm 44 and just starting my 1st ivf. I have 2 children from a previous marriage but had my tubes removed 19yrs ago due to infection. I have found the love of my life whom is 10yrs younger then I with no children, we married in Sept 08. We had our first consultation this week, not too encouraging for a woman of my age but nevertheless were goin for it. I have no idea what to expect. My doc said we can try with my own eggs first. I have to go for us/blood work on my third cycle day. I guess we will know more than when we know where my hormones are. How do u post a pic on here anyway?..LOL.

Just another quick note. This weekend has been crazy. I promise i will do more personals tomorrow and update the list.

Missy, i am so happy for you!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Sue, hang in there girlfriend. Are you going to do a hpt at some point or just wait until your beta?

Kat, so when is the ER? How do you feel with all those follies? I bet some f the 15 will make it. You should have 15 plus eggs at ER. You go girl. I will be lucky to have 15 in three cycles. Again, i am sorry for the loss or your nephew.

njsurga, again welcome aboard. I have to be very honest with you. At 44 you have a very slim chance with your own eggs. However, some people have freakishly good luck and find a good egg the first shot even at your age. I am not trying to hurt you by saying that. I wish i could say it will be a walk in the park but that would be an out right lie. This is must likely going to be a long, expensive and heart breaking journey for you both if you try using your own eggs. If you have lot of money to spend, then go for it. You can always do donor eggs. There is no time crunch with that. If not, it would probably be best to do that from the jump. One other thing to remember, donor eggs is not a sure thing either. I have seen women go through 2 or 3 donor cycles before it worked. You have to consider that too when you are looking at the overall amount of money you can afford to spend. We will be supporting you no matter what you do. Sorry but i have no idea how to post a pic. Tammy, Renee and Kat know how to do it. Hopefully one of them can help you with that.

Hi ladies... I'm back from a spending a week with my parents (school's out for winter break)... I've tried to read through the posts - so much happy news... my next ultrasound is Tuesday morning... he'll check again to make sure he sees two sacs, and not three... it's too early for heartbeats, yes?... I wish I could hear one (or both, in my case)... many prayers for all of us.

 missy... congrats... I'm excited for you and your family.

 AKMom... I'm sorry about the loss of your nephew... he's in a better place pulling for you... you'll see tonight!

 Liam'sMommy... you're a blessing to everyone here... your research is impeccable, informative and appreciated.

 Santa... congrats... my opinion - put all three back... my RE put back 5 embryos and I'm pregnant with twins... he assured me that no more than 2 would implant due to my age (ok, maybe there MIGHT be a third), BUT he said that after implantation, each has a 40% chance of miscarrying... you're primed at this point to have the eggs transferred, so I'd take advantage of those three little guys!... but whatever you decide, I wish you and your husband the BEST results.

 lynnie... please update me... I can't seem to locate a post re: any new info you received about the issues discussed earlier... hoping for the BEST for you, as well.

 new ladies and ladies I missed... I'm so sorry and will get caught up... welcome.

Hello Ladies:

I'm trying to catch up on all of the posts, as I have been gone on vacation this past week.

Kelly: Thanks for asking about my vacation.
DS had a blast but it was a very tiring vacation. I caught a cold on Tuesday and Andrew had a fever for one day. He felt better the next day. He has a great immune system. I wish mine was as good as his, as I'm still suffering from my cold. DH and I are glad to be home in our own bed.

Regarding the OV watch, I've very disappointed. I started AF on vacation, as I had a 25 day cycle instead of the 32 day cycle that the watch predicted. No wonder the pee sticks never showed the LH surge..............it already happened!! I'm going to try to send it back, as it obviously did not work on me.

Kat: Good luck on your ER tomorrow! I'm very sorry to hear about your nephew.

Suzanne: I bet you are very excited about your upcoming ultrasound. I remember that first time that I saw our DS on the ultrasound I cried.

njsurga: Welcome to our site. I am also 44, but will be 45 in April. I got pregnant naturally with DS at 42 after 2 failed IUI's and 2 failed IVF's. I have an appt. with my regular OB/Gyn this week to discuss the possibility of using Clomid or Femara, since DH and I do not want to go the IVF route again. We have spent over $30,000 out of pocket on infertility and I think that is enough.

SueQiwi: How are you doing on your two week wait?

Missy: Congrats on your BFP!

Lynnie: I hope you are doing well.

Sis1: Good luck on your upcoming cycle.

Renee: How are you doing? Do you have any pregnancy symptoms now?
How was your visit with your sister?

I have posted pictures of our Disney World vacation below.

Take care,
Tammy
