joanne - that's great news! I secretly wanted twins, DH very much did not want twins...he won! I don't know what to tell you on the leg tingles, I haven't had that. Try only doing your shot on the left for a few days and see if that helps. Also, you can give PIO in the top of the thigh, it hurts like hell though!

We went for our first u/s yesterday and it was amazing! There's only one in there and RE said everything looks great. I've had some dark spotting so he checked out everything and he sized uterus looks good, sack looks good, nothing to worry about...whew! As an added bonus, we got to see the miniscule h/b and got to hear it! The h/b was 125, RE said that's good! I'm on cloud 9!

Now DH has to decide if he's ready to tell his family, they're the only ones that don't know yet!

Hi ladies!

Mandeekins told me I should come on over to this board soooo here I am!

My due date (that I figured online) is Oct. 25. This is my 1st IVF. My 1st u/s is March 6. DH and I both really want twins. I was worried about my BETA #'s being to low for twins but we'll see. My 2nd went up really good so we're taking that as a positive sign. If there is just one we will be thrilled!!

I have read all of your posts and I am having a lot of the same symptoms. My belly is HUGE!! I got on the scales today and I actually lost 2 lbs which was a shocker. I wore a pair of jeans out yesterday and I couldn't get them buttoned so I wore a big sweater, I got my jeans zipped but then when I sat down I had to unzip them too. By the time I got home those babies were off!! They fit normal everywhere else just the waist wa way to small. DO you all think it is to early to buy maternity clothes? My sister in law told me yesterday I looked like I was 3 months already.

Today I am starting to feel a little sickness. Just been drinking lots of cold water.

Glad to hear all the good reports on the hb's and u/s's!! You girls hang in there. If you thought 2 ww was long we still have 8 months to go :D

Welcome aboard tburks. Glad to hear that all is well at this point.

Mandeekins, I am secretly completely scared out of my mind about having twins. I am hoping with time that I will get comfortable with the idea. I am glad to hear that your bundle of joy is doing great. Great to hear that you heard the h/b and all.

Well my leg tingles are still persisting. Who knows what they mean, I must remember to discuss with my Dr. on the 5th.

Ok, everyone have a great weekend.

I had a strange night. My belly hurt all night. I couldn't tell if it was gas, my ovaries, or cramping. It was just really strange. Of course it freaked me out! I just prayed all night that my babies would be ok. I didn't go to church this morning bc it was still hurting. If something was going to happen I didn't want to be out. IT is starting to feel a little better. If it continued I was going to go to the hospital. I am soooo bloated!! I think it's more my ovaries than anything else. Any of you having this problem or pains?? I was thinking it would go away by now.

tburks: From what the RE told me Friday, this is normal...especially in your ovaries. I've been having sharp pains and he said it's because now that we're producing all that HCG, our ovaries are once again swollen, like while on stims and trigger. If you having spotting, call your clinic and go in, but without it, i'd say it's normal pains.

Well yesterday I was completely useless! My nausea got worse, but I still don't throw up. I just feel like I will all day long, no matter what I eat or don't! Ugghhh...this part I'm not loving!

I found this really neat website. It gives you a 3d video of your pregnancy each week. I think it's great thought you all might like it.

Hi Ladies. Hope all of you are feeling well and enjoying being pregnant so far. I just found out I am pregnant. My tentative due date (pending u/s) is October 23rd. I did not have IVF this time around. It was a natural, surprise pregnancy. I have 11 month old twins. So my life is going to be extremely crazy and exciting. I went last week for betas....#1 was 489 #2 was 1200 and # 3 is on Tuesday. I do have low progesterone 11.8 and then 14 so I am nervous about that. No shots yet. We will see what happens Tuesday. I have had 2 previous m/c so I am on pins and needles and already a nervous wreck.

Tburks, I would say it is normal. I have overstimed ovaries with my twin pregnancy and it was painful to move or do most anything for 12 weeks. Drinking gatorade and water was helpful. But it can be dangerous so if it gets too bad definitely call the RE.

Mandeekins~ So sorry you are feeling bad, but it is a good sign. I haven't been feeling too bad -just nauseas here and there, and crampy. But I think sometimes if you could just throw up you would feel better....lol

When is everyone's next appt?

Hi Everyone,
Mandeekins-So sorry you are nausea. One thing that has been helping me is to throw something in my mouth every 2 hours. It could be an oreo but what helps the best are bananas. They give me energy all day too. Yesterday I had it bad. Picture this I was sitting on the bathroom floor with a book and every couple of minutes I thought I would yack but nothing I read 5 more pages of the book haha.

tburks-I saw that web site too its amazing. There are so many web sites out there its great. Are you feeling any better?Hope so  I'm glad ypu came over & welcome & congrats too   Confession I went to Kohls yesterday They were having an early sale shop at 7:00 am heck I go to bed at 7:00 pm so I am up by 5:00 am  anyways, I went & got 2 pairs of maternity pants. I really felt that I looked prego in them. They felt good & looked pretty darn good too
Now if I do/don't look prego is for my Hubby to decide. He keeps rubbing my belly telling me aww I can see it. I did feel weird buying them almost like I was jinxsing myself ah who knows

Joannet-My leg tingles sometimes when my DH gives me the PIO shot. Sometimes I can actually feel the liquid go down my leg as I asm getting the shot but that feeling goes away so weird. I get more tingles in my pinkies which I read is totally normal. I think your DH is right it has to be your PIO shot. On Thursday my Dr. called about my blood & he said I could cut back from 1 to a 1/2 thank God. I feel as now I am only 1/2 as bloated as I use to be. I really think the PIO does a doosey on your belly in general.

CT-Michelle-I'm going to look into that book. I did give my DH the other one & he loved it. Now if he reads it or not is another story. He has been so wonderful I can't complain.

My DH & I keep struggling about who & when to tell. Tomorrow I will be forty so we will have family over for cake so I was like perfect everyone will be together no one can say oh well they knew before me (My Mom rest her soul) was so like that but I loved her so much. This is so going to stink with out her here. She passed 6/8/05 then my Dad passed 1/13/07. They were divorced but great parents. My FIL then passed 5/10/07 I always say we have 3 extra angels watching over us. I just wish my Mom was here. Well, I'm going to get back to watching Grease ladies enjoy the rest of the weekend. Talk to you next week.

Hello everyone, i am very new to this group. I just got my BFP yesterday with a 442 Beta. I have a very good feeling about this though. We have had a miscarriage in the past but it feels different this time so i am being positive! I have my 2nd beta tomorrow and then a 2WW for the U/S. I am going to go nuts waiting again. I feel like our moto should be, hurry up and wait.

twinmom & niki: Welcome aboard and congrats!

DNT0809: I'm seriously thinking of buying some maternity pants this week, I need some elastic! Sorry about your parents, that would be hard. I'm very close to my father and he's in Texas while I'm here in Utah. It sucks, cause I really want him to be a big part of his grandchild's life. My mother does live here, but I'm alot closer to my dad.

Well today I feel a ton better, went to a family party and ate pineapple, grapes, and soup and no nausea. However, I've taken 4 tbsp of malox. DH isn't so sure I should be taking it, but I saw on whattoexpect.com that it was ok and helps. I have my first appt with midwife on Wednesday, so I'm taking it until then and then she what she has to say. All I know is that I can't function when I felt like I did on Saturday!

Hope everyone had a good weekend, I'm off to bed for a new work week :(

I ordered some maternity clothes online today. Went to the mall with no luck. Maternity clothes are hard to find. I need to see if we have just a maternity store. When you never look for that stuff you just don't know!

tburks: Great pg minds think alike! I too bought my first pair of maternity pants today at Old Navy. They have some that are called boot cut and they just have about a 2 inch band for the waist. Perfect for me right now! We have a motherhood maternity, but they're kind of expensive for clothes I won't be wearing but for a couple months. We're pretty sure we don't want to have another child after this, so I doubt I'll be using them after this baby. I may check out ebay and see what they have in the way of jeans.

Sorry to hear you may have OHSS, but you get an early u/s right?! How exciting...in a way. I think they will at least be able to see how many sacks you have. How many weeks are you? You're right behind me I think, and they saw everything on Friday with me! Good luck...let us know how it goes.

Welcome twinmom and niki

DNT0809 - glad to hear that your Dr has reduced your POI dosage. I am hoping I will be so lucky.

My leg tingles have moved from my right leg to both my legs....lucky me.

So my 3 year old told his sitter yesterday in conversation that there will be "two of them". We were going to wait a bit more before sharing any news......so now that's becoming a bit more difficult.

Mandeekins Hope you are feeling better these days...

Ok, well just waiting till next u/s next week.

Have a great day.
