Hi everyone, I am hoping to find someone who may have experienced the same..
This is my first IVF. I had a blastocyst transfer 9 days ago, so still waiting for my pregnancy test. Now the embarrassing bit. Today I had my first sickness signs, which I thought was a good thing, but then it turned into a vast diarrhea and then I noticed that I also have some vaginal discharge, first brown and then some dark red. Am I in trouble? Am I loosing it? Or can it still work?
I thought that progesterone is supposed to help to keep the lining in, so why is it not working? In the leaflet it says that diarrhea is one of the most common side effects but wouldn't it start straight away, not on the week two of the course?
Any information would help.

Bleeding? Help!
Do not worry. Many of us have had this happen! I have had tons of bleeding and none of it was due to the baby.
It could be from polyps, your cervix being irritated, implantation, old blood clearing out, etc. etc.
I had the same thing during 2/4 IVF cycles. I was pregnant those two cycles!

Thanks lynniecat, I do feel better now. My nurse called today and said that it could be related to the stomach upset.
I couldn't wait any more last night and had a pregnancy test (4 days early) and it came negative. And all my symptoms, like tightened breasts and dark nipples have gone. So, I suppose I am prepared for the worst but will keep going till the test on Friday. It would be miracle if it shows I'm pregnant..

I have a BFP! Still bleeding though and have cramps every other day. My clinic booked me for a scan in 3 weeks and before that they don't seem to give any support except a nurse returning my calls and listen to me panicking... I was told to increase the progesterone supp. from 2 to 3 a day but that doesn't have much effect...
Not sure if I should go to a walk-in clinic in the local hospital or just sit and wait what happens next...
