jenn--my u/s did not show a fetus either just the sac, so don't worry it.

Molly those numbers are good, know I am nervous cause mine where just 2653 at 18 days. You and me had our transfers the same day. I can't wait till friday for my u/s.

molly&Jenn have you guys looked to see your due date? I think we will be due around the same time :D

Yeah - I keep trying to tell myself that it's very early. It seems like there are people on the board who have the BFP and still don't have any symptoms. I think it's really different for everyone so I'm going to keep praying for good news on Thursday.

I had some pressure in my uterus right after the transfer too but that started to go away about a week after transfer. I think that's pretty normal.

Hopefully your 2WW goes fast. I will keep you in my thoughts and hope for a BFP!!

Barb...When was your first U/S? That gives me hope that we might see one next Thursday, March 5th.

My transfer was February 2nd and I'm due (if everything goes well) October 21st. Are these your dates?

kt257...I still don't have any symptoms, so don't worry about that. They'll come soon enough.

kt257,

This is my 4th IVF and I don't ever remember feeling that pressure. This time I didn't feel it until 3 days later... I know it is probably nothing... I just have to wait... wait... wait...

Good luck :-)

I had my U/S today and I saw my little baby!! :D
Well it didn't really look like a baby just a dot I guess. RE was pretty sure he could see the heartbeat but wanted to get a better look next week. I think he was more worried about my OHSS and I have a cyst on my right ovary. I'm in a lot of pain but it comes and goes so that's good. I have to drink lots of gatoraid.

I'm sorry Jenn and Barb that you didn't get to see your babies yet. It is only millimeters big so maybe you will see it next week. I will be praying for you both.

There is the OCT BABIES board on the Pregnant After Treatment if those of you who are prego want to move over!!

Well, my Beta is scheduled tomorrow am but I don't think I am pregnant. I have taken HPTs every morning since Friday and they have all been BFN. I was still holding out some hope that it was still too early, but this morning it should have been positive by now as it is 10dp3dt. I am taking the Early Response ones that detect hcg's as low as 25. I know some have said that the POAS the morning of their beta was BFN when their Beta was a BFP, but maybe they were using a less sensitive test. I have been pregnant 3 times before (2 m/c and 2 1/2 year old dd) and the HPT always registered an obvious but faint line 4 days prior to expected AF.

I thought I would not let this whole experience get to me. I have had 2 cycles of Letrazole, 1 IUI, 2 HSG's, and a laparoscopy. Emotionally I was fine. Now, I feel like I've been on the verge of breaking down into tears all day. I didn't want to come to work or talk to anyone. I have a beautiful 2 and 1/2 year old dd and that fact has made this whole process seem easy until now. I would like another child but am very fortunate to have one.

Maybe I'll be surprised tomorrow, but I don't think so.

Siouxsie You always know the right thing to say. So true that most women this pregnant don't even know they are pregnant and they most often have their first OB visit between 8-12 weeks. But its so damn hard. BarbD and JennLB good luck on waiting for your ultrasounds. Sometimes I wish the ultrasound day were already here, other times I feel like I don't want to see what it shows. As for the ticker stuff, if you want it in your signature, you have to delete some stuff on your signature if you want to put a ticker. They only allow a certain number of characters. Also you have to highlight the address and click the Img icon on the far right like you would do if you wanted something in bold. When you create a ticker they give you three options (something I forgot, BBC code and EZcode) I think I used the EZcode or the shortest of the three.

tiffichels You can't keep a good woman down! Looks like each time you do IVF you go further and further. I have good feelings about your upcoming cycle. Keep in touch.

tburks So sorry about your sore booty. Sorrier that its even more sore because you used a smaller needle like I use. Small price to pay for such a great gift. You must be on cloud nine! Congratulations on seeing your little bean. I saw that thread on Oct 2009 due dates but I'm not confident enough to join yet.

Molly and June Bug congratulations on your rising betas. I think we are all obsessive about our betas. Too high, too low. One can't help but obsess in this crazy world of infertility.

JennLB I know the disappointment and stress that goes into seeing only an empty (for now!) sac. At least you know its not an ectopic. With all this going on, I hope your BP is good. I'm glad that they think your mom's heart is 70% and that she doesn't need a bypass surgery.

Welcome to our little group konahart. Crossing my fingers for your bfp this week.

DH knew I was feeling low. I just wanted to share that he's making me dinner - steaks with mushroom sauce, potato au gratin and some mystery dessert. He made it all from scratch. Can't wait to walk into my kitchen tomorrow morning to see what kind of damage was done.

Ladies,

I had u/s #1 today at 5w6d. Saw the sac, the yoke, and the fetal pole (2.8mm) – and a tiny, tiny blinking heartbeat (100pbm). Phew. DH was too scared to come with me. He cried like a baby when I called to tell him and promises he’ll come next time.

Signed up for a study they’re doing at my clinic. In exchange for letting them, draw more blood so they can chart chemicals signifying pregnancy in addition to HCG, Ill get extra u/s. The next will be 2/28 and weekly thereafter. My first appt at my HMO is 3/4.

I’m hoping my initial scare was my worst, although there’s so many hoops ahead.

Molly23
Incredible beta!

June Bug
You, too. They’ll tell you when to worry. Your numbers are great and are “on the chart” I sent earlier.

Tiffichels
Here’s hoping this time’s a charm. You sure deserve it.

JennLB25
Glad your Mom’s looking good.

It’s still early too worry. I’m sure next week you’ll see that adorable little “orange seed” as they say in What to Expect.

I’m also getting 10/21 with 3d on 1/30.

Konahart
Welcome. Lots of BFP ladies in this thread had spotting and AF symptoms. Probably doesn’t hurt to check in with your RE (she may want you on bed rest), but you’re still in the running.

Lilmd
I’ve been afraid to jinx myself by moving to the pregnant board. Funny, how ridiculously superstitious I have become. Besides I like all these ladies so much here.

Tburks
Glad you saw the “dot”! Thanks for the invitation. I’ll be over soon as I get some gumption.

Metcarl
Thanks for sharing. It’s always okay to cry when you need to. And, in my book to take a “mental health day” when you need it. Treat yourself and your DD to something special and lots of hugs. I’ll be thinking about you tomorrow.

ionlywant1
Thanks for updating the list. I’m jealous of your “dinner in bed.” I’ll get tacos if I’m lucky and play up the tired card.

Floridagirl1
I know you’re hibernating, but my thoughts and crossed fingers will be with you tomorrow.

Brit1612 and Kikie
Beta magic to you both.

Sorry I have been mia for a couple of days. I have not had time to go back and check on everyone yet. I did see that Siouxsie had a good ultrasound!! Congrats, I am very happy for you.

As for me, yesterday I went in for my second bloodwork and the nurse asked if I wanted to go ahead and do an ultrasound. Of course I did and there was one sac that looked good. When I got my levels back they had only went up to 3275 (from 1225 5 days ago). I was a little concerned but had hope. Well last night I started bleeding bad, today I went in for an ultrasound and more bloodwork. My blood levels fell all the way to 1500 already. The doc said to go ahead and get off all of my meds. I am so lost now because we have had two miscarrages with our own embryos and now one with donor embryos. The doc says they are different and that this is not the same issue, but doesn't know what caused it.

Sorry I can't do personals right now, but I hope everything is going great for you ladies.
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!
